Just leaving Lowe's in Ellsworth Road in Mesa, very disappointing to see misleading signs posted on their patio furniture, talked to the first associate who said let me get an associate that works in the patio furniture department as this furniture is clearanced out. We said sure thanks then we have another associate. Who takes the up to 40% off sign off the furniture set we were looking to buy, she proceeds to say I hate that they keep hanging this 40% off sign on this set it's not the correct price. I asked to speak with a manager then a manager comes and talks to us and can't explain why they would keep putting a sign like that up to deceive his customers and went and got the manager Derek who works in the patio section as he proceeds to tell us it 10% off. I asked him again why would he put a sign like that on this patio set as he pointed to a table that is 40% off. I again asked help me understand why you would continue to mislead you customers, you own associate made comments that she has continually removed the misleading sign and they keep putting it back up. He replied it is not misleading, I then said I again want to make sure I am hearing you right you are ok with misleading your customers and making your own employees have to handle upset customers. He said sorry shrugged his shoulders like it was no big deal. Guess what Derek and LOWES it's a big deal to deceive customers but it's a bigger deal to not care about your employees being put in that kind of position. Thank you HOME DEPOT for having accurate am advertising and caring about your employees. I have a beautiful back yard that I will buy my patio furniture from HOME DEPOT! Won't shop at LOWES again. read more

Lowe's Home Improvement - Deceptive signs at LOWES - Hardware Stores Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

In early November 2022 my husband and I needed to purchase a new oven. Our home warrenty company gave us a $1000 credit toward a new oven. Hower=ver, the catch is...we had to purchase it from Lowe's. This is our first experience buying a major household appliance with Lowe's. Oue experience has not been a good one, at all. The salesman said I would not have my oven for Thanksgiving; but I was assured I would by Christmas. Today is Decmber 21, 2022 and still no oven. We were scheduled on 12/13/2022; but it was rescheduled because the delivery driver was by himself and could not life the oven. We rescheduled to 12/20/2022 between 9:00 AM & 12:00 PM; no call, no show, and we were informed the oven could not be delivered because the delivery driver was flying solo and could not do the job alone? At thiis point we are hot!! After a 12 hour day I went stright to Lowe's to gety this straightened out and was met with pure incompetance. At 6:00 PM at night the man in charge, Assitant Manager Brandon decided to ignore me and become confrontational when I asked if this was a me propblem or a Lowe's? A very simple question, yet Brandon argued that I was putting words in his mouth. Brandon tried to tell me our oven had not been shipped from New York yet? Eventually, he found the order but had to contact his boss about this and pointed me back to instalation? Agin, I ask...is this a me problem or a Lowe's problem since they are responsible for their contracted insulation team. Brandon should be aware when you refer people to other entities, the referer shares in the responsibilty of any mis-steps. At this point, I was not willing to stand there. I asked Brandon to give my information to the head store manager, Jeff, who does not know how to reach out to a customer and resolve the issue. I called to speak with Jeff and he left me on hold for 30 minutes?? Really Jeff? There are other details but I will bore you no more, the customer service is bad, awful, and everyone should be sent to some sort of trining to learn better behavior. I even tried to contact someone regionally, but upper management if locked up, you are routed through a call center customer service entity who will listen but they offer no resolution. Bottom-line....RUN!! Do not stop! read more

My wife and I stopped in this afternoon to pick up some plumbing supplies and paint. I was helped by Stacy in plumbing, and she was awesome to work with! She helped me find the products that I needed, and she did so with great competence AND sense of humor. Stacy's customer service was outstanding, and she was fun to work with! I will be returning there for my future plumbing needs. read more

Ed in Pro service is awesome. We wanted to buy a black range hood and wanted to see it, as it wasn't displayed. He opened the box, pulled it out and helped us decide. We asked about hard wiring or plug. He checked and said it needed an additional plug and to go to electrical and ask for Mike. We did. Sorry to say, Mike had no idea what we were talking about nor did he help us. But I would highly recommend Ed!!!! He went out of his way to get us a cart too!!! read more

Even though we live closer to a Home Depot, Lowe's always has different stuff and sometimes better variety, especially for home decor. The employees seem happier and are usually more helpful too. Parking is never a problem and prices are always competitive. Lowe's is definitely my favorite home improvement store! read more

This past Saturday, July 28th, I moved into my new home and my friend took me to Lowes to buy me a Gas BBQ. A week prior, I was there and saw 2 of them on floor, and like the 2 burner size for just me. When we arrived on Sat afternoon, there was only 1 left on floor, so obviously, they sold the other one. HOWEVER, the sales person, in that dept told us he could not sell a floor model, but we could put our name in to have one assembled for us and pick it up in 3 days. (NO ONE SHOULD TAKE 3 DAYS TO ASSEMBLE A BBQ) We explained we wanted one, that day, to celebrate my new place. We even went up to Customer Service and they were not helpful, either. SO.....suffice to say, Lowes has ridiculous policies and Lousy Customer Service. We went to Home Depot, and they had several models and several of each model, ALREADY, assembled for their customers, and we purchased one that had (3) burners instead of (2) for same price. They were GREAT at helping us get it out and loaded on our truck, and we TRULY enjoyed our celebratory BBQ. Thank you Lowes for NOTHING.....Thank you Home Depot for AWESOME policies and Customer Service. Home Depot is NOW, my Store for everything needed Home Wise. read more

Dalton in the garden has a stick up his butt. I asked him a question and he acted SO pissed he had to get up and go over to show me a plant. It was him and 3 ladies that also worked there all standing in a circle chatting and he was cold and short. I then didn't know what would to get and the lady at the front (since I didn't want to ask the guy that was rude again) said "go ask dalton" so I asked him and him and the guy who said he was the manager of the other side told me any would do and went back to talking. What does this guy even get paid to do?! Find someone else. I'll go to Home Depot from now on, at least the garden area people are nice. HUGE thumbs down. read more

My 89 year old Dad bought a LG refrigerator at this Lowe's. After a few months the freezer and ice maker stopped working. He was dealing with LG and had repairmen coming to the house at least 8 times and they were not fixing the problem. He then decided to go back to Lowe's since LG was not fixing the problem. Managers Julie and Ami could not be anymore accommodating. The lent him a freezer until LG would fix the problem. Well the repairman came again today and now the refrigerator is not working! He went back to Lowe's and they gave him his money back and he will purchase a different refrigerator. Certainly NOT an LG! Thank you Lowe's for standing behind your products! My whole family will only shop at Lowe's from now on. :) read more

I always have amazing service here. The other day I have 4 associates in a matter of 20 minutes ask if I needed help. While I only needed help once to find something, the person didn't just say "It is on aisle..." They walked me over to the item and helped with with the different options. It is really nice to get that kind of custmer service. I find the prices and selection here great and the staff super friendly. read more

We decided to get a new fridge after ours started leaking water. We found the one we wanted at the Lowes in Gilbert but unfortunately they were sold out. So, we went over to this location . By the time we got there it was already 730 pm. Chris in appliances let us know they had the fridge we wanted in stock. But since it was so late we couldn't get next day delivery. Somehow Chris ended up getting our fridge to us the next day by noon. He was such a nice guy. Lowes is very lucky to have him! Thanks again for your help read more

Ok, so imagine this scenario: your best friend just moved into her own apartment with a one year old baby after leaving her cheating boyfriend. It's 830 at night , and you both just realized you need an Alan wrench to assemble the baby's crib. Baby is super tired . You run to Lowe's to get said Alan wrench . You cannot find Alan wrench, because you are unaware that said Alan wrench has a different name . You see 2 Lowe's employees and think 'oh good , they'll know where they are' I walk up to the first guy ; he is plugging in some numbers and ordering something from the shelf he is facing . I approach him, say excuse me... he LOOKS AT ME, and continues to punch numbers in his Star Trek ordering device . He plugs in several more numbers . I turn to walk away and he says 'what ' . I ask him where the Alan wrenches are . He says 'in the tools isle ' OH NO SHIT? I give up on this guy and go to the other one I saw . That guy says 'isle 60' which was correct, but did not tell me they are really called something else. Listen, I don't know tools. Not my thing. So I grab what I think is what we need, and take it to the register. The lady at the register didn't know if what I was holding was a Alan wrench for sure, but at least she commiserated with me. So, to recap this Lowe's made a rough night harder . Also , just in case you don't know, an Alan wrench is also called a hex key and there are a couple different kinds. Thanks for nothing Lowe's read more

Mixed bag as we had one helpful individual and two sub-par. The associates that weren't as helpful I don't remember their names because they were forgettable. Thank you Bill for being patient and giving us a good solution to our problem. read more

Where do I start... first my husband and I went there on a Monday evening looking to purchase a washer and dryer. It took 10 mins for someone to even notice us. Our salesman was rude and very short with questions we asked. Then they stated they were back ordered and would take a week and a half which no biggie.. they gave us a window between 1230 and 230 and of course they showed up at the last min at 220 they delivery people were rude the female was on her phone the majority of the time. Then they tell us we have to purchase hoses and connections, you'd think after dropping $1500 that they would be included which again not the end of the world but you'd think the rude salesman would of told us this! I will never step foot into this lowes or any lowes again. I am upset I even have to give them one star read more

I was so disappointed in my shopping experience this last weekend, or should I say my LACK of shopping experience. My husband and I were in the market for two main purchases, track lighting and carpet. We spent at least 15 minutes in the track lighting section and needed some help, but never saw any employees. We then went over to the carpet section. We were looking to replace our carpet in the living room and we were ready to make a decision. We spent approximately 30 minutes in this area and even had a carpet picked out that we really like, but again we never saw any employees in this area either. I heard other customer complaining as well. Finally we abandon the few items we'd pick out to purchase and drove over to Home Depot. They were awesome and ended up getting our business. read more

This store is unable to take or deliver materials without messing it up. Not sure exactly what is the source of the problem. When I talked to the store manager Brian he didn't seem to care that he promised all day to make a delivery and then at 4:30 pm tell me it would not happen. The ordering process was just as bad. When I told him the store was dysfunctional, he said "I know that" . I asked if he had anything else to say and he said "no". Will not waste a day of my time with him or his store again. read more

The staff that works here are a bunch of derelicts and clearly incompetent. I'm in a line yesterday that is 3 deep, which quickly turns into a line of 7. I watch as the cashier is having difficulty scanning AND hand keying an item in. After met with defeat, the lazy slob of a human being just stands there . To my left, some food stamp recipient, I mean employee is sitting at the pro desk (where he could ring people up) watching this employee struggle. He wanders off to go jaw jack with a third employee (also doing nothing) and they wander out front away from the ever growing line, presumably to continue to do nothing. Eventually, another cashier shows up and a second line is opened, AT THE PRO DESK. For the record, I usually shop at Home Depot, but was looking for speciality wood stock for a project. IMHO, Lowes caters to females and liberals. I hate this chain and shop here only when I have to. I paid and got out of this store as quick as possible. A perfect example of societal non-contributors that this store attracts, caters to, and obviously employs. Good luck Lowes. read more

They always seem to have the highest quality merchandise and the best trained sales people. Much much better than Home Depot. We enjoy going to the store because it is always clean and well stocked. It also doesn't hurt that they respect veterans. As a veteran, all I had to do was register my credit card, and every time I make a purchase, I automatically receive a 10% discount on my purchase. Nice gesture. Genuinely appreciate it. read more

Usually I love Lowes. Higher product line superior customer service. Today I was doing a big shopping with my daughter who just bought a new home in this area. 2 hours in the store and not a single person asked to help us. I did however have employees walk past when I said "excuse me." The 'pretending not to hear' cost you a couple of good customers. Oh, and check out was super slow too! read more

We wait longer than they told us for a custom door. About 2.5 weeks later, it's the wrong door and when I told them that, 3-4 guys were staring at me and simply asked me "do you want your money back so you can go somewhere else?" Where's the customer service? Not okay, they lost some loyal customers. read more

I have had occasion recently to get rather well acquainted with this Lowes store. I had a Pergo floor installed recently with Lowes taking charge of what was a big project for me. The communication was excellent from start to finish. Jared placed my order. Every step of the way, from delivering the materials to installation happened on time and as promised. Lowes subcontractor (Angel and crew) at Cesars' did an outstanding job preparing and laying the floor. I have tremendous appreciation for Sandy in the installation department at Lowes. She is amazing and was helpful from start to finish. My floor is absolutely beautiful. The following week after the floor project my washer decided to quit. I found one at this Lowes store and purchased it. I was really bummed with myself as I made a poor choice on the model I selected. After all was said and done I realized after using it for a couple of days it was not a good fit for me. I visited the store. They allowed me to select another model, and made the exchange. The delivery fellow, David ( along with his crew) was wonderful. " David" and Daniel were the ones who came with the first washer. Once again it was David (and a nice young fellow) who appeared to make the exchange on the second one. David was patient and most courteous and competent in installing my washer (both times)! I am appreciative beyond words. I love this Front Loader Maytag. It is a keeper. Lowes on Southern and Ellsworth is a good store. Give them a chance. I did and I have not been sorry. I am extremely well satisfied. Sara L. read more

Got our new frig delivered today- the guys were great & informative about our purchase... Lowes never disappoints!!

Went to the Scottsdale location and ended up canceling my order after a series of issues: Waited 30 minutes for a salesperson, waited almost 30 days for a delivery and then all the appliances did not come in, doubled billed for a refrigerator, made two trips to straighten out a counter depth refrigerator and no follow up with manager, billing website down, billed for items before they arrived, delivery men mumbling on my voice mail and unable to understand message. What a disaster! They have no service! read more

Helpful employees, good deals, exactly what you'd expect from Lowes.

This is the absolutely worst Lowes store we ever had to deal with. Since February now we have been trying to get a dishwasher from them. After several attempts we have gotten either a defective dishwasher or a damaged one. It's been nothing but trouble with this store since before they even delivered our very first dishwasher which arrived damaged. Our first order, (which was in stock when we ordered it online) they called us to tell me they had no stock on it and automatically cancelled our order without looking for inventory or giving us an option to backorder it at the least. It turned out they actually did have stock on it after I spoke to the store manager the next morning but the employees were to lazy to actually look for it in the back of the store where it was. So fast forward to today, on what was supposed to be our final replacement which was set for delivery today. This would be the 4th dishwasher. We got a call from the installer that the store would not release our dishwasher to them. I took time away from my job to be able to be here for an installation that should have happened and had no reason at all to not get done. It should never take several months to get a dishwasher, from any retailer. This store is poorly run and very disorganized. The customer service has been sub par at best. I almost get the feeling that they could care less about our time and money which has been wasted from the time we've invested into just getting a dishwasher for our home. they act like they re doing us a favor by paying for multiple installations which have been damaged or defective dishwashers. I would advise to look elsewhere for appliances. read more

I was an extremely loyal customer to Home Depot until they did not have the baseboard I was looking for. I have actually never been to a Lowe's for any thing and since I was not happy with the selection of baseboard Home Depot had to offer I was forced to shop around. I popped into Lowe's for some baseboard a few months back. An employee named Becky helped me out. I needed 70 pieces, she had them pulled and wrap into stacks of 10 so I could take them home. She seemed to be an extremely loyal and knowledgeable employee to say the least. Because she worked so hard to help me out I decided to go back and buy all the rest of the items I needed for the remodel of my house. I am just blown away by her TOP NOTCH level of customer service. She is a model employee. I had been meaning to write this long over due review for months but life and the remodel just kept me so busy. It was last week I went back and bought all new appliances for my kitchen and met an employee named Brian. He took such great care of me and reminded me of Becky... It forced me to sit down and finally give these amazing employees the shout out they deserve, Y'ALL ROCK!!! I frequented Home Depot so much the employee's know me by name. Although, Home Depot is friendly to me they have never gone above and beyond to take the time to find everything I was looking for as Becky and Brian had done. If they had, I would have never popped into a Lowe's and meet these two incredible employees! So, I felt the need to ask for a manager to tell them how great the staff is and how impressive with the customer service is. I spoke with the General Manager, Robert. Which is funny because oddly, when I walked in the door he was the employee that passed by and said "Welcome to Lowe's with a big smile and asked if I needed help finding anything." I knew I was in for appliances so I told him I was good. I never see manager or General Manger on the floor in a business saying hello to customers EVER. I passed on the compliments along and he was not surprised to hear these employees hit another grand slam with a customer. Not many people share the great times. Because of the incredible friendly vibe and service I get in this location, it is my FOVEREVER stop for all my home repairs! Hat's off to this location for such great customer service and shopping experiences. THANK YOU Becky, Brian, and Robert for all your help!!! I will see y'all soon! read more

Ordered a dishwasher online Saturday, called on Thursday still in process, again on Friday still in process. I said it was in process now for 5 days...the woman on the phone investigated further & told me they have found it and it was there but will be ready on Monday. lo & behold I got an email saying it was ready for pickup that day! So I decided to go down Saturday Morning to pick it up (today)...walked in & there were 3 young women helping customers at 3 different registers. I waited behind the gentleman in the "PICK UP" line. After he was taken care of I was next. The young woman went to tend to something so I waited. Meanwhile other customers came in after me & were taken care of at the returns desk. When through with all who came after me the woman at the returns says...I can help you. I said, I am here for a pick up. She says...its okay it's all one line! I looked around to see if there was a line sign...nope. I looked up at the signs above the registers...3 different signs. Okay...so I said I'm here to pick up a dishwasher. She tried to get a hold of someone in appliances and shipping. Another woman who was originally handling pick ups came back and said she would try and track down this magical illusive dishwasher. So me with my bad back, busted up knees stood there waiting for 15 minutes. nothing. So if you're spending 500 or less at Lowes you may not get the customer service you should be expecting. I wonder if they know Home Depot sells dishwashers...or maybe care? read more

Bought a small 4x6 utility trailer a couple days ago. Things went smooth. The process was a little slow but I was ok. Bought the trailer hooked it up to my truck and one of the back lights didn't work and one of the running lights didn't work. Took it up to the loading area and reported my findings. Within mins of of the reporting it one of the employees from that department came and looked at it. Without me saying anything to him he offered two free replacement lights and 10% off my total purchase. Wow. I was really impressed. They had that taken care of in a few minutes and I was on my way. If I could give zero stars I would, this has been my worst order experience ever! One error after the other, that has taken over 8 hours of my time trying to resolve, with zero interest from store management, and ended up with an erroneous $679 charged to me, that NOBODY seems to know how to fix. Also, three days of waiting for deliveries that either never came, or were completely wrong. Now I've been charged for a range that I don't even have, and their best answer is to dispute it with my credit card company. I am down here with nothing but a phone, ie, no printer, no fax, no way to get this done. I needed a new kitchen countertop and found the material/pattern liked at Lowe's. I called from home with all the information from the back of the sample piece I had from the store and my exact measurements, to get a price for the material. The person in that department gave me a price of "approximately $390". I decided to order it but when I went to the store to place the order I had a different store associate and she told me it would be $690 - $300 more than what I had been told on the phone. I liked the material so much that I decided to order it anyway. I gave her the specific dimensions of each piece and the end caps and end splashes that would be needed, as given to me by my installer. I also had her attach his worksheet to the order. When my installer went to pick up the order, he found there were chips at the back of the counter as the pieces had not been wrapped by the manufacturer when they were sent to the store and the store employees had just dropped them in between the metal dividers of a rolling cart. He also found that the end splash that I ordered wasn't there and that they didn't cut that piece of the counter short enough to allow for the end splash. The associate told him the pieces are never wrapped, took 10% off the order for the chips, and reordered the end splash. He installed the counter pieces he could, but couldn't put in the last section without the end splash. When after 2 weeks I hadn't heard from them about the end splash I called and was told by another associate that the system showed that it was there a while already (no one had called me) but he couldn't find it. The next day my associate called to say she had it. I now have to wait until my installer can fit it in his schedule to finish the job. I will have to pay him additional money to come back out and to cut off the extra material at the end where the end splash goes, as it is too long. I will never order from them again. read more

My experience at Loews on Ellsworth & Southern was less than satisfactory!!! The associates in lighting were NOT helpful or knowledgeable. I just moved here and hadn't used my $20off coupon through the USPS yet an it had expired on December 31st. I explained that I received the coupon in late December and had not had a chance to use it. The cashier was rude and when I asked to speak to a supervisor she laughed and said ok but it won't help. I heard her say to her supervisor "yea I have a customer who wants to talk to you" then giggling and lowered her voice. I found their product to be under stocked, workers not knowledgeable, and a rudeness amongst most of staff. Will never shop there again. Home Depot is a much better choice!!! read more
