Today I went in because I had bought a 6 pack of LED flood light bulbs for our kitchen, when only 2 were bad at that time. Now it is 6 months later, and in trying to use the other new bulbs I found that only 1 of the 4 worked, and the rest were defective from the factory! I took the box back with the receipt, when the cashiers told me that THEIR WARRANTY to exchange or return items is only 30 days, even though the warranty from the manufacturer is 5 years. Therefore if I try to exchange defective items after 31 days, they will refer me to the manufacturer. I realize that each Ace is privately owned, which is why I try to patronize them whenever possible. Unfortunately I cannot count on them given their rigid policy, so I guess I will go to Home Depot from now on, as they would have exchanged these defective bulbs after 6 months, regardless of their store policy. There is such a thing as the "spirit of the law" versus the "Letter of the law", and even the big box stores will look at the facts before chasing customers away. Too bad that the owner of this Ace stores does not give their people the latitude to make decisions that will maintain their customer relations, especially when they could have easily exchanged these bulbs with their distributor. UPDATED on 5/27/26: Since leaving this review I reached out to the manufacturer of these bulbs, and they then sent me 3 more bulbs to replace these non-working ones. I also received an e-mail from a manager of the company, when they advised me that they wanted to make this right, and that I could return to the store to exchange these bulbs. I replied that I had already had them replaced by the manufacturer, but I greatly appreciate their review and willingness to follow through in this exchange. I now understand that nothing is returnable at Ace after 30 days, just like with Amazon! I will return back to Ace in the future, but I will have to check everything within their 30 day return period in order to avoid this issue again. Any warranty claims may only be resolved directly with the manufacturer.

Ace delivers and installs all their grills for no additional charge that cost over a certain dollar amount. I think it's $399. Even though Ace features Traeger products, they sell other brands as well. We ended up buying a Recteq. The smoker arrived a day or two prior to when the website stated it would. Ruggiero's Ace had a couple guys deliver it to our house and they had it set up very quickly. The smoker has worked flawlessly ever since. And I use it a lot! We buy all our supplies from there as well. I realize that you can buy spice blends, sauces and pellets for less elsewhere, but will you get better service? Here it goes: Their sheds are supposed to come with vents--it's stated on the website, and when you begin designing your shed, the vents appear on the visual model throughout the entire configuration process. We paid over $6,100 for our shed, and it was built today with NO VENTS. The crew that installed it even said, "That's weird, it should have them," and told us to contact Tuff Shed about it. My husband called and spoke with Zack, who claimed we would have to pay over $300 for them to come install vents because "we didn't pay for them." I'm furious because vents are standard. They automatically show up on the model, and since we added a window, I clearly remember choosing a smaller window size to make sure it didn't interfere with the vent placement on the side of the shed. The vents were always displayed, and there was never an option to remove or upgrade them like other features. I called and asked for a manager because this situation and what was relayed to my husband is insane--especially in Arizona, where temperatures exceed 120° in summer. Apparently, Zack is the manager. He repeatedly put me on mute while I was talking and clearly had no interest in customer satisfaction or doing the right thing. This company deceives customers by showing features online, then delivering something different. Even Zack agreed that sheds are supposed to come with vents. So why would I comb through the invoice looking for them? Standard features don't appear on invoices--only specification upgrades did. His excuse was that we were "credited" for removing the vents. No, we weren't. There is no credit line for vents anywhere on our invoice. If there had been, I would have questioned it immediately and not pay or sign anything. The invoice does show a "Credit for Removal of Default Door" (because we upgraded it), but nothing at all about vents. This is dishonest, and the company is taking advantage of customers. Who spends this kind of money and pays for upgrades just to knowingly remove a standard free feature like vents--especially when the design platform doesn't even offer an option to remove them? This feels like a complete scam: removing free standard features and then demanding customers pay a ridiculous amount to add them back. I've filed a complaint with the BBB and disputing the transaction on my card. We are Arizona natives--we know the dangers of a shed with no ventilation. This is our second shed, and our first one absolutely came with vents in our old house. Lack of ventilation is a serious health and safety risk. My grandparents live in the casita and will be using this shed. I also have a three-year-old who could wander inside and not be able to get out, and we might not hear him or anyone inside yell for help. The consequences of not having vents are serious, and that's exactly why they're standard. I'm furious with how this company handled the situation and with the lies we were told over the phone. They refuse to fix a problem they caused. We never elected to remove vents--this was their mistake. At this point, we want the shed removed from our property and a full refund. This is shady business, and we will take our money elsewhere and buy a custom shed from a honest company. I was going to buy a GE profile refrigerator, but was told by the sales person it had to be in stock to order it. Needless to say, shortly after I was notified the cafe and the pedestals for the washer and dryer were not in stock and would be delivered on July 2, the day before we were to leave our new home. Out of State. On Friday June 19 the washer and dryer were delivered, placed in the middle of our laundry room and they left. Never hooked them up. Said he didn't have time. I called on the 23rd and asked if we could get them installed since I had already spent half a day at a laundromat. That's not to mention how much I spent running out and buying bagged ice for our ice chest. At that time I was told our items were in stock and would be delivered on the 24th. I made arrangements to be home and that cancelled the next morning. But an installer came anyway to hook up the washer and dryer. Said the wall connectors were defective and left. I contacted our builder and they came out immediately and made a minor adjustment and left. Lowe's called the next day to set up the delivery again. And same thing, cancelled the next morning. This happened 5 times and finally on July 2nd they delivered. Attached the pedestals and left enough water on the laundry room floor that it took three bath towels to sop it up. The delivery man spent his entire time on the phone with his wife and put our new refrigerator in the appropriate kitchen space and left it with all the packing inside and out. My wife asked him if he was going to set it up and he looked at her and said, that's your job. Pretty nice since we we spent $4k on the refrigerator and were upsold $1200 on it to begin with. I am disappointed with Lowe's for this purchase. Why not be honest from the get go and just say, we want you to spend more money and we won't deliver it until we are damn ready to. I would recommend getting everything in writing from them when you make the purchase, but they are not true to their words.
