Lenhart's ACE Hardware is a 5 Star Experience !!!!!…read more I wanted this particular non-stick Fry pan that was a bit hard-to-find up close and personal (I'm one of those tactile people who likes to feel the weight, touch the handle etc.) and my on-line search showed it was available at this ACE Hardware in Mesa. So I decided to call ahead first to make sure they had it and I reached the NICEST, MOST helpful woman named Barbara. What a sweetie !!!!! She went and found the pan (yay); brought it up to the front and then answered ALL the questions I had about this pan. I asked her if she could hold it for me up front; she said, "No problem". When my husband and I arrived there it was right up front. We were both impressed by Barbara and her accommodating TOP-NOTCH customer service. The store is clean, very well organized and laid out in a welcoming, easy-to-navigate atmosphere. I highly recommended Lenhart's ACE in Mesa - definitely a find.

My friend was very compliant and obeyed her hand signals, but was greatly confused as he didn't understand any English. I asked why and she said it was to prevent theft, but there wasn't any signs stating that there was this policy in place. They have security cameras all over the store and don't have any reason to suspect us as we just walked into the store. What if our bags and items inside got stolen? Who would be held responsible? To prevent theft they should hire more security instead of lowering the shopping experience of loyal customers. How would you feel if you stepped inside a store to shop but was suddenly accused of theft out of nowhere? I can't imagine how bad my friend felt. She even started threatening us and said she would call the manager. Luckily for her, we were in a rush so we went to a different Ace Hardware right afterwards and the people there didn't stop us at all and we finished our shopping there without any mishaps. We also asked them if they had a leave the bag at the door policy, but they looked confused as well. I was greatly disappointed by how they treated their customers and felt strongly discriminated against. I will not be returning to this location and do not recommend this place to others!
