I just wanna say that i am SO grateful home depot hires people that are SO easy going... my MIL had about 10-12 things to get and i asked one if the co workers there named "Casey" and she was AMAZING!! She was SO attentive so helpful in so many ways! She was creative and gave us ideas and even though we felt like we were taking most of her time she was all about us while also taking care of other customers as well but we felt like she was paying attention to every detail and we were so happy and fulfilled after we left! Do yourself a favor and look for "Casey" you will NOT regret it and all your questions will be answered! Also another employee that helped us along the way was "Brittany" i hope im spelling it right but she was also so sweet and attentive she showed us ideas and products that we didnt know wed end up needing and bought those and they actually worked! I've been shopping this location for years as I use to live very near it and now it's on my way to and from a lot of the time. Always in stock, and actual helpful employees at this location. In fact, the person I asked a question of where something was, she might not have walked me to it (she was on the phone with what sounded like a customer) she did tell me the idle, the bin, and about how high up it was, like on what shelf, and THERE IT WAS! He did sucha. fabulous job and we really enjoyed working with him. His overall knowledge and insight on kitchen design is second to none. You could tell he's a popular guy as there was always some before or after us waiting to see him. We had not even realize dit, but our family members has also worked with him and had an equally great experience. The cabinets were recently installed and everything turned out better than we imagined and though we are not 100% done, we are so excited for the final outcome. We definitely recommend and had a great experience picking out the fun features, add-on/s, details and everything in between during this experience. Ordered Replacement Windows 7 count. They installed 1 tearing out the inner walls wood framing by wrecking, hammer and hands. Left site with the rest never heard of them again. Had to dispute the fee with my credit card company. The window they did install screen is ill fit , told do not warranty it unlike when sold online measurer came out stated it was. I would not recommend this place for anything as street store on Dobson states it was an online order they have nothing to do with it. Online Distict Manager only states "next week" whenever addressed any matters. Probably had anouther contractor install and replace this window leave it at Dobson store with photo and start a Small Claims Court for the 25% down on full job . read more

Home Depot is where dreams come to die. Looked for a basic item. Phone coverage was not working in the store so I could not get a call through. Eventually found a pleasant staff member who directed me to the correct area. I was looking for a certain size, the two elderly employees deep in conversation blocking 1/3 of the area Reserved for that item did not break their conversation or their eye contact with each other until a young male customer left (after excusing himself and having to reach behind them) and after I had been present long enough to read through the inventory on my own. Why were they there? The topic of their conversation was "scheduling time off." I am so over this particular store. Took a gamble and stopped today as I was passing by and nothing has changed. I read Home Depot's comment about my review. There is nothing left to say except I wasted over one hour talking to the delivery company's representatives (three of them on two separate days). The patio blind finally arrived on August 1 but had I not been so determined to find the thing, and had the delivery company not been so concerned, I am convinced I would never have seen the blind! I deeply resent paying Home Depot for this product and their unwilliness to try to find it for me! I have ordered four patio dining chairs as well as this blind in the last few months. On each occasion there has been a problem and my orders were not received as scheduled. In addition, I purchased a refrigerator which has had problems twice (once after a Home Depot authorized warranty person came out). I am now having to pay someone else to fix the thing! Just did one of those lifetime purchases and bought a new water heater for $550. They didn't have very many brands to choose from so I went with a standard electric water heater. Nothing fancy, just enough to do the job. I was quoted $3k from my plumber but this was a new water heater that's state of the art where it pulls the hot air into the system to heat the water. Pretty genius idea, espfor hot AZ garages that get upwards 120°. That shared, I called Home Depot installation line that's on the box to get a quote to install it and it's going to cost $999.99. Outrageous highway robbery for installation service. Theres no way someone would pay that costing double the actual heater itself! Looking for other options to get it installed now. I wouldn't go with home depot with their service charges being so high. read more

Driver wouldn't unbox or install even though it's his job. In all fairness it was more the delivery company that HD is locked into a contract with. No one knows where anything is anymore. I bought the toilet that says you can flush billiard balls. I've had it a week. I go pee 3 times then flush to save water. I use 3 sheets of tp per use. That's all it took to clog. 9 pieces of toilet paper. I can't afford to get a new toilet because labor costs too much. So thanks alot giant corporation. Every time I order a curbside pickup here they never want to do their job and bring my order out. I sit here and wait for 20 min for someone to bring my item out. Just 1 thing and they cant even do that. And then when you try to call the store to let them know youve been waiting for your curbside order, they dont pick up their phones at all. I can't believe it but I was ripped off by Home Depot using the tile contractor. They never completed the work, they left my house is total disarray. My family was showering in a bathroom with only the sub flooring. They never finished the work, one excuse after another. After 6 months from the time i paid and the work was still not done, I cancelled the project. Heidi at Home Depot who is the liaison between the customer and the contractor, gave me a "refund" of less than $200 when I originally paid $2300 up front. They nickel and dimed me for things done and even things not done, such as reinstalling my toilet. My toilet was literally sitting next to my bed at that time, it was never reinstalled but I paid $150 for it according to their itemized bill. I contacted customer service, never heard back from anyone. What a scam. I used to go there weekly for different items but never again. I hope they enjoyed my $2000 they stole from me because they lost a customer for life. I go to Lowe's, Walmart or I order from Amazon. Their ProReferral contractor damaged my toilet when they performed unauthorized work, which ended up costing me $100 to repair. It is unfortunate that a contractor with numerous negative reviews slipped through their standard vetting procedure. After leaving a negative review, a Home Depot representative called me today to rectify the situation and to let me know that they really do appreciate my business and that they don't want to lose me as a customer. When we moved into our new home we were there almost every weekend picking up lights, wood, nails, paint, you name it! We recently went and bought plants for our front and back yards. Home Depot has a ton of plants to choose from for both the inside and outside of the home. Living in Arizona, we need plants that can withstand the heat in the summer. You can find a plethora in the garden section. The staff is very helpful. When I'm looking for something and ask for direction, I always find a staff member who is happy to help me. They take the time to walk me to the correct aisle and they show me what I'm looking for. Just a tip, if you need to return anything to Home Depot, make sure you take your receipt! read more

I have texts from HD chat saying they will price match I go into store and am told by store manager and regional manager it's up to store and they won't do it because it will "ruin their numbers". I call and email corporate who now say they won't price match even though the dealer they are matching is all new, same model, and authorized. I get offered a $200 gift card??? I declined the gift card because that isn't the point. Their price match is deceptive and misleading But I went to the LOWES on Higley and the 60 and their manager had no issue on price matching. If you are debating whether you want to be a Home Depot customer or a Lowe's customer, let me just give you some insight information as I have used both and been part of their credit card rewards for pro. I understand that in online ordering there are sometimes delays, but I can say with certainty, that at least with Lowe's I was provided updates along the way when my order was late. Home Depot on the other hand continuously did not give me any updates. I had to constantly reach out for assistance on my order. They never contacted me even when they said they would reach out to me with a resolution by end of week. I had placed an order for delivery with Home Depot mid February that I was supposed to receive within two weeks and after two additional weeks of constant outreach, and being told multiple things about where my order was (such as it was lost. It was in transit it was delivered to another address) they finally were able to tell me that my order had been canceled but didn't provide an explanation as to why. I was never made aware of the cancellation as my order still showed as pending via the app. What I had purchased was on a promotional price which I asked them to honor with an additional 10% off due to all the struggles and problems. After saying they would provide me the additional 10%. They did not give me that when they re-ordered And they refused to go back to get the percentage off they had promised me. The associates I talked to were rude and condescending and not helpful in the slightest or apologetic to the situation. I have been in customer service and been on the receiving end of an angry customer, and I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, I was not rude and I did not yell (this was all through messaging) but my frustration was at an all-time high. Home Depot doesn't care about their customers in the slightest we are a dime a dozen and they don't aim to please at all. They can answer all my questions, suggest tips on getting a task done or recommend in a very friendly way if I should have a professional do my project. There is one employee that is in my opinion a SuperStar in both his general knowledge of handyman stuff and AMAZING in his customer service skills. His name is Don. He is I'm guessing over 60, thin and a fast walking energizer bunny type guy. He takes customer service above & beyond what's expected. Me and my dad came to this location on 9/21/24. My dad that can hardly see was looking for these door magnet closers. I have no idea what these parts are at all. I approached this guy named "Michael" and said hey how's it going i'm looking for a door magnet for my dad. We then go to the aisle and my dad asks can you help me and he said "you passed them and they are behind you" loudly and rude. He then points at 40 different cubbies of magnets. I then say which one and he said they are right in front of you then walks away. I look over and he said "oh gosh" to his co worker "Sherry". I don't take disrespect especially to my dad very lightly and i was not going to let that just go. I then go over to "Sherry" and ask for his name and gives me a look and says "i don't know". Lying to my face and giving horrible customer service as well. I ask for a manager and I described him to her and she said "Oh Michael". That just tells me that they know about him and his attitude. This is my new home away from home. I just recently bought a house in the area that needs some TLC and I'm so lucky this place is right down the road. This is a huge store with the best customer service I've ever had at a HD. No matter what aisle you're in there's always someone there who is willing to help. I've never been in there without someone asking if I needed help or had any questions. All the associates are knowledgeable in their dept and if it's not their department they're quick to find the person who is in that department. They're always willing to look up on the top shelves if a peg is empty and they do it with a smile! This place will definitely impress and I will be back for all my future home repairs. read more

I'm giving this location 1 star due to a recent experience with Home Depot's price match policy. They need to sort a few things out and make it clear that Home Depot online and Home Depot stores are essentially two separate companies. The reason I say this is because they will not price match a table saw ($749 in store) to their $649 online price which was presented to them as proof. The manager gave me some ISP cache nonsense explanation. I shouldn't be able to order this product online for $649 and have it delivered next day to my home but I have to pay significantly more to get it at my local store. This visit I needed type B wire conduit connectors. The slot was empty but there was a full box way up high. No luck finding anybody who can get them down, "we'll send someone". Been in the this aisle 20 minutes, one would think an associate would stumble by on his own in that time frame NOT. Went to home depot today to get some sealant for a bathroom tile project. I found a sales associate in the kitchen and counter design center and asked her if there was anyone who could help me with understanding sealant products. She walked me over to the isle to show me the items. When I asked about the types she pointed me to a small bottle with a brush on the end and said here you go. I said it's a 5x5 area with hexagon tile. There must be a better product that's more efficient. She said I don't know why you're doing this yourself. I paid $8,000 to have it done and I know it's done right. You should just do that...I don't know anything about tile products." First of all, I don't have $8,000 to spend on a contractor for tile work and secondly, I asked for someone who could help me understand. I finally snapped and said I JUST WANT SOMEONE WHO KNOWS ABOUT THE PRODUCTS. PLEASE CALL THAT PERSON! She continued to berate me as we walked back to the kitchen area mentioning several more times about using a contractor and suggested I watch YouTube. After an uneccessarily long negative interaction, she finally called someone over to help me (who was great- went above and beyond to help me get everything I would need. And, interestingly enough, showed me a sealant that can mix with the grout). The lady in the kitchen design area was condescending and didn't listen to me. All of this could have been avoided if she had called the person when I asked initially. I thought the power of home depot was to help the homeowner do more. She must have forgotten their mission statement. I have called the corporate customer service desk and submitted a formal complaint. This location has gone down hill in their customer service and care. I hope they can turn it around. In the meantime I'll go to another location. read more
