I'm so irritated with this nursery. Overpriced, racked up our bill as much as possible and didn't discuss financing with us so had to cancel the order and come back to it a few months later. Now the plants are in and they're all dying. I've called, texted and the only thing they tell me is to buy "moon juice" and fertilize, which I did ($50 later). They're still dying in the heat. It would have been better to suggest planting in a different spot or wait until later in the year so they don't suffer so much. Or give me ideas on how to protect them. I've asked for help multiple times and not received it. Seriously, go somewhere else. Choose a smaller nursery with people who actually care and are detail oriented enough to know where to plant things so they're happy and healthy! read more

Ceser and his crew arrived to replace a few trees that didn't make it thru the summer. Crew was very polite, quick and cleaned everything up like they weren't even here. Ceser was very informative, giving suggestions with the new trees as well as all the other landscape in our yard. Bought two trees from them and purchased warranty. Both died. They replaced one (2/3 of it died too) but told me I had to give this crape myrtle time to take before they would consider replacing. Then they stopped responding. Now they refuse to replace. Terrible deceptive practices. Will never use again or recommend. read more

When I called my HOA to confirm which trees were allowed, Nicolas walked me around the lot and showed me each option-he knew exactly where every tree was, which made my decision easy. Shout out to Nester, George, and the crew for removing a tough stump. They were professional, efficient, and left my yard cleaner than when they arrived. Also, thanks to Esi and his crew for planting my 6-foot Chinese Elm early this morning. Overall these trees the last of 6 have brought very much needed shade and beauty to my desert oasis. Customer service was responsive before purchase, but communication stopped after payment. I have contacted the company multiple times--December, January, and February--regarding a warranty on a tree that is not doing well and have received no response. Given the cost of their products and the warranty purchased, I expected better follow-through and accountability. I hope they address this promptly. read more

The Moon Valley guys, Cesar and his crew. Did a wonderful job planting my new Red Push Pistache tree today. They were very quick digging out a pretty rocky hole for this tree, but did it with ease. These guys made sure I had all the information I needed to keep it well fed and watered throughout the year. This was a larger tree that will do well and I think having them plant it and and provide instructions will help it thrive. I did purchase the protection plan that "if" by chance this does not make it, they will replace it at no cost. That sure makes you feel like you are protected with your tree investment. Cesar Jimenez and his crew arrived at our home within 15 minutes of them letting us know they were on their way. Very nice, courteous and professional. In less than 45 minutes they had 9 Ficus planted and had our backyard transformed. Left us with detailed instructions on how to care for our new additions. For years we've heard that Moon Valley is the place to go for a large tree. We've also heard they are the most expensive. Both are true, but they also are among the only nurseries around that offers really large trees. Their selection is solid and they focus on providing trees that can thrive in our climate. Their prices are high, but they are negotiable and they have a good warranty on the trees. Some nurseries don't warranty at all, so this is something to keep in mind. We worked with Richie and he stayed in contact with my husband throughout the process, going as far as texting him updates with photos of trees we might like and even found "the one" for us in Phoenix. Additionally, he made a site visit to our home to make sure the spot we chose for our tree would work. So far, it's been a very positive experience and we can't wait to get our ironwood planted! read more

Eddie and his team were awesome! They showed up bright and early in the morning as promised and had all 28 trees and 7 bushes planted within just a few hours. Moon Valley is the place to go if you want great sales and service. I just took delivery of an AZ Ash tree. Not only did Caesar and his crew plant and stake the tree. Caesar discussed watering and fertilizing the tree and sun protection for the tree trunk in the summer. He also looked at the other trees in the yard and made recommendations on their care. A great selection of plants and trees, but they're a bit pricy on the cost of everything, products, installation etc. There warranty on plants in s pretty short unless you pay them to plant your plants and pay for their care program. Again, pricey! I've used their moon juice and fertilizer concoctions and every time I've used it, it's killed my plants, palm or trees. I would stay away from all their fertilizer juice! Other than that, they do have a good selection of stuff, if you need something that's hard to find elsewhere, they probably have it. I would recommend them as a last resort if you can't find something at a different nursery. read more

ordered new plants and a try for my yard I was told everything that was there would be replaced. not true we had a large bush still there and another plant that was not touched for what I paid compared to what was done not worth it. Trying to reach out to the person who was helping me and all I get is crickets.... this is such a rip off!!! read more

I do not get the impression their office have much knowledge about plants. I asked questions about an Agave with a tall stem growing and the salesperson says that plant is not dying and it will do that every two years. Googling on this topic says 98% of Agaves grow this stem reaching maturity and will die shortly after that. read more

Josh P came for our 1st maintenance review and did a great review of checking what was needed, and added fresh coverage of mulch which keep the moisture moist due to the AZ heat. He evenly spread out the conditioner, moon dust, and moon juice to give it more strength and vitamins for the next month. Great plants when we are willing to spend $2000 on a Palm it cactus, but the aftercare VIP & scheduling is the worst. They lie! One quarter they blew us off with no excuse. Just forgot to put us on the calendar I guess. Last quarter they said the scheduling "error" was due to a new computer system, as we waited home all day. Today they said they blew us off due to a new phone system. So we are rescheduled another month out. They take no accountability for anything except taking our money!!
