We had Carl come give an estimate for our back yard of a home we just moved into. His crew came out and installed fake grass (dog approved) and pea rock and within 1.5 days they were all done. The crew was very friendly and did an awesome job! I was worried the grass would be hard and not comfortable to walk on or hurt our dogs paws, and it's quite the opposite. Super soft and easy maintenance, just wash 1 time per week with Dawn dish soap. They also installed pebbled pavers we had gotten for our big plant pots and they made sure they were all even and spaced correctly where we wanted them. Carl and all the guys at his company do amazing work. He did my turf around the sport court, all new exterior pathway and up lights, fixed my irrigation system after new landscaping was installed and is now adding all new stone around my home. He is also halfway done with a new brick paver driveway that will take 7 days to complete. My neighbors driveway has taken over 3 months. Every single one of the workers takes care and pride in what they do. Things happen very fast and given how difficult it is to find good workers, or even guys that show up, I feel very lucky to have used his company. I had what I thought was a good relationship going into a proposal and asked for a bid on a putting green, pavers, block wall and granite. I felt our meeting went well. The bid however came in with measurements almost double what Shasta, AZ Turf and a private company gave me. I questioned the numbers and advised the estimator, Carl that I was surprised and a little bothered by the bid and I immediately got a thanks but no thanks to do any further business. I was floored as a reaction to my candor and concern. No further word after I ran this result and my surprise up the family ladder to Greg the owner. I guess business is good to turn away more than $15k in potential business. Be sure to check your numbers with their bids. read more

We recently had them install artificial grass in our backyard and it looks AMAZING! We are so happy with it! And they installed it quickly and professionally. We will definitely use Legacy again when it is time to upgrade our front yard! We ended up getting quotes from a few other places that were all really high and the samples of the grass they offered looked so incredibly cheap and fake. We had a very irregularly shaped grass backyard bordered by a combination of brick and rocks, with a cool-decked diamond in the middle that has in intricate border including curves. Tons of sprinklers and bricks had to be removed. Legacy installed La Jolla turf with new pavers around the edge of the yard and around the diamond. Top quality paver work on all borders and edges, and a beautiful turf install in spite of all the irregular angles. Looks great; somebody just told us our back yard looks like and English garden. The job took 3 days and the crew worked really hard; at one time there were 7 guys performing various tasks! The only snafu was that one of the finishing spikes nicked an electrical cable under the edge of the turf during the installation, causing a gfi to repeatedly trip. After we determined that was the issue and not the excessive rain over three days recently,Greg the owner made arrangements within two days to have a crew lift the edge so that we could lay new cable in place deep enough so that it was beyond the spikes. All's well that ends well; you can't tell that anything was ever fixed, it looks terrific and our dog loves it too! read more

After the 2nd call to Carl to remind him that he never got back to me about the warranty repair and estimate he apologized and said he misplaced my paperwork. Unfortunately for them, I had another company do the install. Greg, the owner called me about a week later on Friday and apologized for not getting back to me sooner. On Monday Jose came out and repaired the two seams that were exposed. My faith in them has been restored and would give them the opportunity to bid on replacing the turf in my backyard in the future. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE my amazing backyard thanks to legacy. Friendly and professional they did a beautiful job and the turf is holding up really well, even with 3 big dogs. The turf does get hot in the summer, but hey this is AZ so everything gets hot, and a quick spray with the hose cools it off just fine. I spend so much more time in my yard now. Legacy Green was absolutely 1st class from start to finish. We saw a terrific-looking turf install on a neighbor's front yard and got Legacy's name from him. Carl Gille & his team handled everything perfectly, from planning to quote to scheduling to installing, and the result is even better than we expected, so realistic that I keep waiting for it to grow in case I need to mow it! Good luck getting these guys to even show up. I made an appointment for 8 am for a Saturday morning and at 8:29 I called to see where Carl was. He said he was almost at my house and he tried to tell me that he made the appointment for 8:30. Believe me, I am scheduling these appointments myself and my calendar very clearly said 8 am. Then he tried to tell me that he told me that he was doing me a favor by squeezing me in between other appointments and he was just leaving his last call. His attitude was rude and condescending. After I thought about it for a minute, I called him back and told him to forget about coming at all. He was argumentative and after I hung up he tried to call me back, which I did not answer. Seriously, there are a lot of competitors here in the Valley that will treat their customers with respect. Don't settle for someone who lies to cover their arse. If they treat you this badly while trying to get your business, how is it going to work out after they have your money? Update: Carl left me a voice mail message telling me that me telling him not to come to give me an estimate after he was already on his way to my house was "crappy", but wished me a very sarcastic happy Thanksgiving anyway. This guy is delusional. Be careful who you let into your home. read more

Just had my front lawn replaced with artificial turf by Legacy Green Solutions. It looks better than I had imagined it could. Jason, the salesman was great, and Aaron and his crew of installers were absolutely the best. It's like they are all perfectionists. From start to end, they worked hard and never stopped. I have never seen a crew of guys work so well together. I was an air conditioning contractor for over 30 years. What I would have given to have had guys like that working for me. I had Legacy install some artificial grass. They did the job quickly and did not do a complete check of the relocated water line. It leaks and I had made several calls them to correct it. They finally came through and fixed the problem by replacing the line. read more

I had been thinking about getting artificial turf for quite some time and then happened upon David at the Mesa Swap Meet. He had a sample of the different grades of turf and a display of the process that is used. He was very knowledgeable. I asked for an estimate and received within a couple days. It seemed reasonable considering how pricey I heard it would be from others who had it done. I OK'd the job - but needed to put it out 3 weeks as I had company. They were perfectly fine with that. I was surprised how labor intensive the process was. I have to say - I was pretty nervous about going artificial, but I am so pleased with the outcome!
