Our…read moreyard service, Francysco's Landscaping, just quit when the pavers that they were repairing from our tree that fell over a few weeks ago were not leveled and left with large gaps between pavers. We told him this was unacceptable and he quit on the spot. Pavers are a service that they advertise on their truck that they provide. Apparently that is to their satisfaction and not the paying customer. He charges an outrageous amount and then wonders why you expect quality. We also asked him to fix a valve that was constantly running and over watering our palo verde and he fixed the wrong one. We told him it was still running (which he should have verified before leaving), so he said he must have fixed the wrong valve. His solution was to come back and remove valves that I didn't want removed only to have to come back and undo that work, that was neither needed or approved. Then he has the audacity to try to charge me for that work! Stay away from anyone that charges a fortune by overestimating the cost to do a job and then does not stand behind their work.

The project was delayed multiple times, measurements were done wrong, and the rock area was left unleveled. What made the experience worse was the communication throughout the process. When an issue came up regarding the color of the pavers that was recommended by our sales representative, he was unwilling to take accountability or work with us toward a reasonable solution. After pointing out all the issues, he told us he would contact his manager to see if they could provide a discount since the incorrect color of pavers had already been delivered and partially installed. After days of back-and-forth, he later informed us that they would not be pursuing that option after all. The inconsistency and lack of follow-through were very disappointing. James the sales agent became increasingly hostile and unprofessional. Instead of feeling like our concerns were being heard and addressed, we felt blamed for issues that should have been handled collaboratively. To their credit, the installation crew worked hard and completed much of the physical labor well. However their customer service and accountability was horrible. Our team of Dagney (supervisor) and installers Pancho and Agustin were thorough and detailed in their work and care. After digging footers, laying concrete and installing the structure as precisely measured, cleaned up both the debris and Pergola leaving the perimeter as if nothing had happened. The 10' by 13' pergola, along with a sliding side screen now covers our spa so we can enjoy it more than ever. We highly recommend these folks who not only do pergolas but other outdoor landscape jobs. They are professional, amicable, friendly, great to work with as well as reasonably priced.

Back in 2017, we had the Greenheart team come out and help us dream up a concept for a cozy backyard. Fast forward six years later, we're still so happy with the way it turned out. We've moved away since, but we kept the house and now serve as landlords. The intentionally low-maintenance backyard has kept its promise. The original yard was a clean slate covered with dirt and weeds. Our initial idea was to install a square piece of turf and surround it with flat pavers. Mike encouraged us to think bigger. He suggested adding curves and mounds to the landscape to give it character and personality. We decided to see his design concept, and once we saw it, we were blown away by how he transformed our ideas. The final result was a more rounded piece of turf with pavers sprawling into a rock-covered area. Thoughtfully planted trees and bushes grow into the space and attract hummingbirds. The recommendation for "pet paradise" turf was a great touch - it's been easy to keep clean and sanitary. While we didn't have pets going outside, plenty of toddlers put it to the test. Our new tenants have dogs, and the backyard seems to suit them well too. Now, having been in our new house for a few years, we're not satisfied with the current backyard layout.
