The day he was scheduled to stop over for the estimate, I texted him to ask if he's had experience installing turf and pavers on a pedestal system, as this is a very complex scenario that many landscapers don't do. He replied yes, so I then asked if he could send me pictures of concrete terraces that he has worked on previously, as any customer would do. He responded telling me, "you're a very complicated customer, I passed the estimate." I was completely shocked at this very rude and unprofessional response. Omar is very good. I had terrible issues with the floor in my laundry room because of my home being built 40 years ago and the size of appliances being so much larger these days. There was an actual "drop in" space made for appliances that was so deep that my washer and dryer had to be propped up with bricks and 2 x 4's. It was ridiculous. After numerous attempts to get help laying a slab to make the area even with the floor I finally found Omar. He layer the slab and even tiled/grouted the area and it's PERFECT. He was professional, provided me his business card and explained the stages and steps he would take to remove the two large trees in the northwest and southwest corner of my backyard. Day one they would cut down the trees and remove all debris. Day two, grind down the stumps, remove the roots that were causing damage and treat the remaining roots underground. He was on time each day, provided a 20 min notice when he was in route and respected my property when he was here. He made sure the water lines were not damaged, blew out my entire backyard and cleaned up my backyard to perfection! He was not the cheapest and he was not the most expensive but he definitely won my business due to his professionalism and demeanor! His price was a fair price and his workmanship was priceless! I hired Omar through Yelp for landscaping services. Although initially his service was good, over time his crews have spent less time and energy to maintain my lawn. The pictures tell the story. My front yard is overrun with weeds, and several bare spots now exist where grass once grew. Now, I'm left with a really sad looking yard in front of my house. I don't know if Omar Landscaping has gotten too busy to provide the good service I saw at first.
