I would highly recommend Cactus Curbing. I filled out the online template for a free quote. Albert reached out over email pretty quick to get something set up. All of Albert's communications were prompt. He came out within a couple days, took measurements, and got me a quote within a day. He was able to start the work about a week or two later. I wanted to get my front patio/carports completely demo'ed and redone. Him and his crew were on my project for three days - the first day was demo, the second day concrete was poured, and the last day pavers were installed. The crew was very nice and did great work. Albert was there most of the time to supervise and make sure everything was done to standard, which I appreciated. Everything looks fantastic. The work really exceeded my expectations. Great work, very professional service, at a very reasonable price. Couldn't be happier. I am already planning to use Cactus Curbing for another project. I am attaching photos to share the before and after of their work. Can't believe so much improvement could be done in just three days. read more

I had an excellent experience with Albert. Communication efficient from beginning to end. I messaged with Albert and scheduled a meeting to discuss and measure the work. He arrived on time and he sent me a price within a couple of days. I know he's busy which tends to happen when you do good work so I told him, quote approved, let's make it happen! That next Saturday his guys did demo, gate door fix (our last landscaper did a shoddy job that Albert fixed for me), dirt and rock haul off, grading. Then couple days later, Monday his crews poured our driveway extension. Beautiful joint layout and great work. I paid 50% on day 1 and 50% after his guys finished. Professional level work too. read more

Updated* Had the owner come out ** ten days ago not 15** as I had originally posted, sorry for being off by five days) and still never revived a quote. We did have an appointment set for a consultation at noon and at 12:40 ish I called him as no one showed up. He tired to reschedule for later that day at 3/4pm but that didn't work for me so he said ended up coming out within the hour. He also told me he wasn't licensed which is a huge liability for the home owner. We are doing an entire backyard Reno with a decent budget so it wasn't that our job wasn't worth while. Updated: i'm genuinely sorry for the loss of your family member! I would hope though that communication would still remain open as a simple text message to update me would have taken less than a minute and much faster than the time you took to respond on here. - i'm not mad at all so I'm not sure why you put that in your response but when I was searching for other contractors, yelp, put your company right in front of me and asked me to review it. It wasn't something that I sought out. So I left an honest review of my experience. I completely agree with other contractors being licensed and having horrible reviews. Your reviews looked great, which is why I called you in the first place. Great craftsmanship/ reviews or not, a homeowner is still liable if someone on the job gets injured and that could have potential to ruin someone's life in a lawsuit. It Has nothing to do with the quality of work but just liability in general. The only thing that was questionable is how long you've been in business and are just now getting your license. That didn't really add up to me, but I wish you guys the best truly and sorry again for your loss read more

I do not have enough good things to say about Cactus Curbing. Fair pricing, excellent communication, and incredible work. Albert and his team were so helpful throughout the process. We couldn't be happier with the end results. Highly recommend! read more

It was great to work with Albert on our backyard remodeling project, with new paver and synthetic turf. Great communication to begin with, and very patient to answer many questions from us. As our pool was drained for treatment before talking to Albert, he was very helpful to arrange an earliest possible schedule to start the project to avoid long time empty pool. His team worked very hard and professionally on the pavers and turf, paying attention to details, and thoroughly cleaned up after the project. We are absolutely loving our new beautiful backyard. So glad to worked with Albert and his team. Will definitely call them for the other paver work. read more

Needed about 8 stepping stones installed and they responded with they can't take on the job because it's to small. Leaving money on the table when someone needs help with installing stepping stones. I get it, it's a small job but I don't understand why companies can't do it if it wouldn't take them to long. read more

Wow! We are so incredibly happy with our new driveway. Albert and his team are amazing! Albert is a perfectionist who came up with the perfect design with us and made sure it was carried through. His team worked so hard to get everything done on time, despite an equipment malfunction at another job. They were kind, friendly and dedicated. Now we can park two cars in our driveway which really helps in our small cul-de-sac. We keep going outside to admire it. Thank you Albert and Cactus Curbing! read more

Highly recommend you choose this business. The best company I have ever worked with. Excellent management, top notch employees, perfect craftsmanship, great communication. I can't praise them enough. We hired them for a driveway expansion and then later for a patio installation. They also fixed the imperfections of someone else's work and left the site immaculately cleaned up. 100 plus stars! read more

Can't say enough good things about Guillermo and his team! They got my paver steps, courtyard, and side walkway done super quick (even in the summer heat) and the quality is amazing. I'm writing this review a couple months after the install so I could see how things settled--I've had zero issues. Very impressed with the job they did. And the price was super reasonable too. Be sure to check them out! 10/10 will be using them again for any and all masonry needs. read more

Friendly communication, but mediocre execution. They removed all our bricks in the backyard and replaced with curbing. There was a very significant amount of concrete debris left all over our yard after the install. I complained about this and they came back a couple weeks later to address it, which was appreciated but even after another 2-3 hours of cleanup, there still was a lot of debris that I've been cleaning up for weeks. I'm not sure if this is par for the course with a curbing project (I doubt it), but a little heads up that this is "inevitable" would have gone a long way. read more

Cactus Curbing does it again! I thought that I had reviewed this company back in 2019 when they installed drip irrigation and plants in my rear yard. They did an incredible job and their pricing was very competitive. I guess I failed to write a review but I remembered how professional they were so when I needed a quote for turf in my front yard, they were the first company that I called. Once again, they provided guidance, fantastic suggestions, and at a price comparable to other companies. My front yard looks incredible and I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Cactus Curbing for any landscaping job. read more

Albert and his team did a wonderful job putting in concrete in my backyard. They were responsive, flexible, and did the job very quickly. Definitely pleased with the work and would recommend them if you're looking to have concrete laid. You should know that after getting a lot of estimates cactus curbing gave me the most detailed quote by far complete with a nice drawing, explaining what they would do. Everyone else just kind of stared at it for 10 minutes with a tape measure and told me what they would do. I appreciated that and it helped me make the decision to go with them. read more

I can't begin to say enough great things about Albert and the crew from Cactus Curbing. I recently engaged them to re-pour my 1600sf driveway. As a retired project manager, I grade all projects based on the "three-legged stool": 1) Cost, 2) Timeline, and 3) Quality. Regretable, many other contractors fall far short of this measuring stick. I am extremely happy to report that Cactus Curbing met or exceeded my expectations on all three counts: 1) Costs were within their quote (and my budget), 2) They started the project when they said they would and completed it when they said they would, and 3) The quality of their work was absolutely superb. My neighbor was so impressed, even they walked over and asked Albert for a quote! read more

Thank you Albert + Team. You guys did a great job remodeling our backyard. Everything is exactly as we wanted, and was completed alarmingly fast. It's both beautiful and functional, and we appreciate you working with our budget requests. Good things about this company: they do a lot (plants, turf, stone, concrete, fire), fast turnaround w/o sacrificing quality/precision, Albert is very professional and was most helpful with respect to knowledge about plants/construction. They don't do water features nor concrete refinishing, however. My recommendation would be to get Licensed before the A.R.C. This company was very "with it" and conducts themselves leagues better than some other licensed contractors I've worked with in the past. I would love to see them become Licensed. Before and After photos are attached. We will likely use CC LLC to do our front yard next. Would recommend :) read more

Cactus Curbing and Landscaping - Freshly installed curbing around my lawn. - Masonry/Concrete Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Albert and his team did a great job on our lawn. I've been saving and planning for almost a year and have seen about 10 different companies to get a quote. I won't list them all here but Albert's quote was the second best only a few hundred dollars and since he could do both concrete and landscape it was actually a savings vs using two different companies. He worked with us on the estimate so that we came in close to budget. He answered my millions of questions and it didn't seem like I was bothering him. Things went pretty smoothly and the things that weren't 100% were because I didn't know what I didn't know, if that makes sense. Knowing what I do now I'd make a few more changes but the cost would have probably increased so maybe I would have left things as they were. I'm happy to answer anyone's questions about them! I'll try to add more before photos of the front lawn read more

Albert and Guillermo are A-Number One in my book! They did a major overhaul of our ugly backyard and a back wall that was about to fall over, transforming our yard into a beautiful, zen masterpiece at a reasonable price. They were so easy to work with throughout the whole process. We highly recommend Cactus Curbing--they are extremely professional, meticulous, conscientious and obviously know what they are doing whether it is demo, masonry, concrete, electrical, landscaping. Highly recommend Albert and his crew. Appreciated his responsiveness (noted as many other outfits never responded to requests). Cactus Curbing did the edging for our patch of synthetic grass in our backyard. I was not very knowledgeable as to the scope and expense of a project like this - didn't matter! The guys at Cactus Curbing guided me thru the process like professionals, and given their experience in doing projects like mine, were able to recommend some slight changes to my plans to ensure we had a successful installation.
