We had a great experience with Mike + team for our backyard remodel. Mike was extremely responsive throughout the entire process, which made everything feel smooth and stress free. He's really honest about pricing and gave us a lot of options being mindful of our budget. Many of my friends had used him and I see why he has such a strong reputation. What really stood out was how involved he was, he was onsite frequently and really cared about what we wanted. Even after the main work was done, he went above and beyond to make sure we could use our original pool fence and made sure the fence was even more secure than before. We highly recommend this company!! read more

I can't say enough great things about Daniel and the team at Diamond Stone Synthetic Grass. From start to finish, Daniel was knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure we were happy with the finished product. The quality of their work far exceeded our expectations. Our synthetic turf turned out absolutely incredible. What impressed me most was Daniel's commitment to doing the job right. He delivered exactly what he promised and made sure everything was perfect. It's refreshing to work with someone who takes this much pride in his work and stands behind the finished product. If you're considering synthetic grass, I would recommend Daniel and Diamond Stone Synthetic Grass without hesitation. Very happy with Diamond. We hired them through Yelp after meeting with 4 companies. They built us large awnings/overhangs on our patios and a turf area for sports. They were punctual, responsive, attentive and the work quality was fabulous. We will use them for our bigger projects next year for sure. Mike was particularly awesome. read more

I am writing this review after a few years - because for me, after-sales service is super important and Mike and his team has come through in flying colors. Mike did our entire backyard, including stone, pavers, gravel and artificial turf and replaced our old irrigation system. He and his team did a great job that stands great even today, several years after completion. But most importantly, he never left us alone when we needed support - be it a leaked pipe or having to replace the pavers since the color seemed slightly off. The most recent job he did was just a few weeks back when we had a leak from one of the irrigation head. When I informed him, Mike had his team come over and fix it even before we realized it and I had to follow up with him several times to pay him. :D That's the kind of service he does. read more

It easy to judge a company when everything goes well, but the true test is when there are problems. I hired Diamond Stone to redo my front landscaping. The salesman, Jr, was great. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and cool under pressure. Jr told me from the first meeting that the thing that distinguished Diamond Stone from other landscaping companies was that they would keep coming back until we were satisfied. I found out that this was in fact true. We had some bumps and hiccoughs along the way, some on my side and some on theirs. When the project was completed, the seam in the turf was more visible than it should have been. They sent a crew to stretch it, but it still wasn't perfect. Jr suggested waiting a couple of months for the weather to warm up and they'd try it again, and if it didn't work, they would replace the turf. I told him I'd wait to write a review until the turf issue was resolved. Last week they came back out and re-stretched and cleaned the turf. I'm happy to report, it looks fantastic! So, as promised I'm writing my review. If everything went perfectly, I would have given a 5-stars. Instead, I'm giving a solid 4-stars and I will definitely use them again for any future projects. read more

Our hardscape patio started sinking after just 4 years (our concrete column was even leaning). Diamond Stone of course took no responsibility and stood by their workmanship. We opted to replace the whole thing and I'm SO glad we did. During the demo, the new landscaper found 4 major issues with the original install. 1) The paver surface was found to have inconsistent and uneven levels. 2) The joints between the pavers contained only polymeric sand. 3) Along the perimeter edges, the concrete bonding/support was inconsistent and spotty with minimal connection in several sections. Some sections contained NO concrete border or edge restraint base at all. 4) There was NO BASE MATERIAL found beneath the pavers, but the material consisted primarily of native soil. Diamond Stone has cost us a lot of money because they were so careless. We found them lacking integrity because they refused any responsibility, even had the nerve to tell us drainage and sinkage to a corner was 'normal'. Had we opted to only repair the landscape, it would have failed time and time again because IT WAS WRONG FROM THE ONSET. I hope you will consider these comments carefully before choosing them for your project. Good luck! read more

I had an ugly, 1970s crumbling cool deck, and Bilal came out and made his suggestions about what would work best for the situation. We went with travertine, and had to demo the concrete because it was old and leaky. I was concerned about our pool being made of fiberglass with the concrete demo right beside it, but it was fine. The bulk of the work was done in 3 days. Outside circumstances caused some unexpected issues but Bilal handled them well and resolved everything. I trusted him with quality control. Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass wants to do a good job, and I don't think they would do a bad one. read more

Bilal and his team did it again! very happy with our new driveway and front yard. looking forward to working with them again

Our experience with Dimond Stone & Synthetic was very positive from the initial estimate, ongoing communication and the project itself. We worked with Bilal (602 367-6308) who did the initial estimate and also showed up on the day of the work was to be done to make sure everything was going well and the crew knew exactly what the expectations were. He also followed up afterwards to make sure we were satisfied with the work. The crew took their time to understand what the work was and how we wanted it done aesthetically. They also did a good job of clean up afterwards. Would recommend this company for any projects you have upcoming and would also recommend calling Bilal directly who can take care of your project needs. read more

Wow! What a great company to work with! I'm and out of state owner of a triplex in Mesa. I got a few bids and Diamond was right in the middle. They did come down $1000 after we discussed other vendors. Their bid was the most professional. It clearly laid out the work that needed to be done in detail. JR was a great communicator and gave honest advice. They handled the job with professionalism and pride. They went above and beyond multiple times. They went to the property and set up the sprinkler timer system for me. They were very reliable, trustworthy and professional! Definitely recommend them for any turf work! read more

I cannot say enough great things about Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass (DSSG) and especially about Bilal Shamsid-Deen. My son referred us to Bilal after he'd completed a major landscaping design through Bilal. Bilal was so conscientious, listening to our needs & desires, developing a beautiful design that even resolved a drainage problem we'd been living with for years, and following up daily as the work progressed. The work was first rate: quality design, quality materials and quality workmanship! I've already referred Bilal to three friends including our next door neighbor. Bilal ensured we were happy with everything before we made the final payment. We felt we received very good value for all the work accomplished. I highly recommend anyone looking for any landscaping work to contact Bilal first on 602-367-6308. read more

My wife and I are in a new build, so the backyard was hard dirt and occasionally a muddy mess. Not pretty. Our neighbors had hired Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass before we did, and invited us to see the finished product. It was amazing, and we decided to hire Diamond. Their work was excellent! They paid attention to every detail. The pavers are level and tight, the lines are straight and exact, and our backyard weed field is now a spacious, beautiful extension to our patio. We drink our morning coffee outside in the shade of the east outside wall, play with our dog throughout the day on the synthetic lawn, relax after dinner in the shade of the west wall, and watch the night sky after sunset. Nearly every day. We LOVE our new backyard created by Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass. And, when you call Diamond, ask for Daniel. He's friendly, professional, knowledgeable and will keep you updated on every phase of the project. read more

From my first outreach I was impressed with Diamond and Junior. I called to request an estimate and it was set up same day! The estimate we recieved was comprehensive and included photos and all the discussed options listed out for our review. There was some confusion on which pavers we should pick out but Junior helped us and we are so happy with our choice. From first contact to completion was about 3 weeks and the work itself was done in half a day. If you're thinking of a project Diamond can make it happen. Every one I interacted with was so kind and helpful. There really care about their customers. Highly recommend! read more

10/10 experience, highly recommend! We recently gave our backyard a little facelift; changing out the grass for turf, adding a tile walkway, and a few other touch ups. From start to finish, Bilal (602) 367-6308 and the entire team were extremely professional, exceptionally detailed, incredibly communicative, informative, friendly and overall just a pleasure to work with. Additionally, we did get a few other bids and felt their pricing was competitive with other local companies. We are extremely happy with how the project turned out, have no regrets, and would hire them again in a second. This is a company you can trust to get the job done just as you communicate to them. Thanks, guys! read more

The crew at DSSG just finished our back yard and we could not be happier. Daniel and his team delivered everything as expected, showed up as promised, and created a high quality end product. Whenever we had questions, Daniel was only a quick text away. That responsive communication is tough to find these days, but Daniel was always on top of things. We got more than one quote, and DSSG was by far the best value for the best price. They did stucco, turf, and pavers, and everything turned out beautifully. We cannot recommend DSSG highly enough - great value, great people, and outstanding work! read more

Bilal was a great and quick communicator and kept the team on track. We particularly appreciated no hassle responses to requested changes as the project progressed. We had a death in the family while the project was underway which made it very difficult for us to focus on the project, but Bilal made extra efforts to frequently visit the project in our absence, keep the team moving forward and communicate daily so we didn't have to worry. On top of all that, we received flowers and a beautiful card from Bilal and his wife expressing their sympathies for our loss. Truly above and beyond. We highly recommend Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass with a special shout out to Bilal. read more

We're absolutely in love with our backyard! This was our first BIG yard project and Diamond Stone was great to work with! After our pool was finished Diamond Stone stepped-in and completed the "look" we were going for by adding turf, a paver patio, decorative rock with paver boarder, and an alumiwood pergola. They also installed a drip system for our plants and extended our front driveway with pavers. Diamond Stone offered us a stress free process and Daniel was easy to communicate with in English and Spanish! They took care of us during the pressure of the Holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas and NYE). They offer high quality work and impeccable craftsmanship with no drama. We're very satisfied with everything and will certainly use them for our next property! Thank you!! read more

Quality work from beginning to end. Myron was wonderful giving us our quote and covered all the bases so there were no surprises. The work came out fantastic. It has made a transformation to our yard both visually and functionally, not needing to wear shoes or sandals all the time to traverse the gravel between the patio and the side or the patio and the garden. My wife picked a herringbone design and Diamond Stone helped us pick the perfect brick to complement. Jaime was wonderful at running the job and keeping my wife informed of all steps and any questions. They even did follow-up warranty repair work on two bricks quickly afterwards while showing me how to do the repairs myself and even finding additional bricks to repair while they were here. Can't recommend Diamond Stone & Synthetic Grass enough. I wish I knew about them sooner. read more

Patricia at Diamond Stone was very attentive and on top of the whole process. Due to external issues our project took about a year to complete and Patricia showed patience throughout.
