Jake was easy to work with, easy to reach, and provided guidance along the way. When other companies were slow or difficult to reach with questions (e.g. paver sizes and pricing), Jake would have an answer in minutes. His business partner was also hands-on and helped with new electrical in the backyard as well. The only thing that wasn't as expected was that they actually finished early. We were doing a massive backyard renovation as our yards were old and everything was breaking down. This wasn't just replacement of what we had, we needed a full demo, ripping out a large palm, taking out a ton of heavy rock features, new hardscape, replace grass with turf, create a new pergola and outdoor kitchen, a new water feature for our pool from scratch, fire bowls on pillars, leveling slopping terrain, new rock, new plants, etc. etc. I thoroughly went through over twenty bidders and landed on Jake and his crew. They were amazing, I could not more highly recommend them. Thank you to Jake and Jorge for making my backyard look as I had imagined.  The layout and improvements created a designer yard. They listened to my requests and followed through to create a great entertaining space.  They installed travertine around the pool and patio, designed a drainage system, installed a grass patch for my pup, rebuilt a leaning block wall, installed a paver pad and path in the side yard, and added multiple trees and plants with lighting and irrigation.  The yard looks great during the day and fabulous at night with the lighting. They communicated the schedule for the project, so I always knew what to expect for the day and they worked with me when I needed to take care of my dog. Our plant material and hardscapes were old and uninteresting. My love of gardening prompted a complete backyard and front yard and courtyard remodel. We had a vision that came to life with Jake, Jorge, Emily and their expert team. The demo crew worked so hard during the sweltering July heat, never complaining, always cheerful. The paver crew took great care to assure perfection, the pavers are stunning. We watched them in amazement as they expertly built the BBQ island and the fire table. The project started in early July and concluded just before Thanksgiving. From start to finish, the oversight of the project was meticulous assuring they were always available to answer questions, discuss adjustments, recommend changes, suggest additions, We are thrilled with the overall project and we are enjoying our new outdoor spaces. I am writing to share our experience with Camelback Hardscapes. We previously had a different contractor install pavers on our front porch and walkway. The job had been done incorrectly, resulting in water pooling by the front door during rainstorms, creating damage to the door and interior walls. Needing the job re-done, I turned to Yelp and found Camelback Hardscapes. They were located nearby and had positive reviews. More importantly to us at the time, they responded to our call immediately. Jake, the owner, was amazing to work with. He came out same day to assess the situation, and further had his team lead, who offered over 25 years of experience, come out as well to evaluate our pavers. Jake offered several options for solutions, and never tried to upsell us - in fact, he worked to try to help keep the cost down for us. Jake also worked to schedule the job around our availability and need. When the team for Camelback Hardscape arrived for the job, they were all dressed in matching company t-shirts. The crew was polite, courteous, and hard-working. They addressed questions we had, and were never anything short of professional.
