Therefore, we chose them again for this much larger project, and I'm pleased to say they exceeded our expectations in every way. Naji arrived to discuss the project, and based on our conversations with him, was well-prepared to discuss options. The crew showed up right on time, and the point person on the job, Joaquin, explained the process of removing sod and dirt and installing the pavers--over 1,000 of them. They hand-measured and hand-cut the pavers that created the circular mesa around each tree--they look exquisite. It was a crew of seven, who were perfectly coordinated, worked well together, and hustled to get the job done in the promised timeframe--one day, which astonished my wife and me. Because the job required cutting a number of pavers there was quite a bit of brick dust. After completion, Joaquin used the hose to meticulously spray off all of our trees, shrubs, and all of the rock, to make it look pristine--that's going the extra mile! JNK just completed a total backyard re-landscape for us. Bottom line, would use again. Found them on Yelp - had great reviews, which I read very thoroughly and compared to other companies. I am sure there are other great landscaping businesses out there, but the reviews were key for me - I had nothing else to go by, since we haven't used any landscaping services. Reviews were accurate. Service-communication: very good. My main contact was James. Took a lot of time with us. We were going from scratch, so it took a while for us to figure out what we wanted. Plus, had to get HOA approval for a pergola - never fun, but finally got through that. Second contact was Ali toward the end with the irrigation and plants. Easy to deal with. Once the contract was signed, they indicated 2-3 weeks to begin, and that was accurate. Supply delivery began about five days prior to commencing work. The initial crew wasted no time getting to work. They kept the premises clean. Everyone professional. Quality: All I can say, is so far so good! Nice paver work, Pergola looks great. Electrical all appears properly done. Turf looks great. We are very happy with the results. Everyone cleaned up after themselves. Delays: none of any consequence. This review is LONG overdue as JNK did their first job for me back in 2021. I can't say enough about Naji and his crew. Naji was extremely responsive and came out to give me an estimate on replacing crumbling tile around my pool deck that was installed from Presidential. Presidential warranted the tile, but not the labor. No way was I giving them more money to fix a problem they sold me. Naji came out and gave me an estimate which was comparable to other companies. While he was here, I had him give me an estimate to completely redo my front yard. I proceeded with the tile around the pool deck and said if everything went well, I'd proceed with the front yard as well. His crew came out and did a fantastic job. I think it's better than the original install. They took great care moving my above ground jacuzzi off the pool deck in order to replace all that tile underneath that as well. If I knew what I know now about their work, I would have definitely used them to install my pool as well. They finished the work much faster than I anticipated. I believe start to finish it took them 3 days. (I didn't post a negative review about Presidential, but I could write a novel about the experience, and I'd rate it a 4/10.) They finished the back and moved into a complete re-landscape of my front yard. Everything was perfect but I wasn't happy with the stone on the pony wall in front. My favorite saying is, "Don't judge a company when things go right. Judge a company by how they handle the situation if something goes wrong." Naji & his team excelled and did everything necessary to make me 100% happy. I referred JNK to my friend and they did his front yard last fall in a new build neighborhood. Other landscape companies were at other houses for 2-3 weeks. Naji's team completed the job and was out in 2 days. My friend doesn't write reviews, but if he did, he'd definitely give them 5 stars as well. Last fall, I reached out to Naji to replace the drip system at my rental property as I kept having issues with leaks. His team came out, replaced all the tubing and I haven't had an issue since. They were professional, fast, clean, and delivered a beautiful new front and back yard for us complete with paver patio + walkways, cactus and trees, rock river, landscape lights, artificial turf, and a gorgeous built in BBQ station and a fire pit. There were multiple crews working for days non-stop and everything was managed well and done as planned. They were able to work around surprise roots tangled around water lines, demo of extremely tall palm trees, hidden root balls as big as a horse, and some last minute plant changes. Our daughter used JNK to landscape her new backyard. Due to her work schedule, I oversaw the project, which included hardscape, lighting, irrigation and some pavered pads and walkways. James met with me to discuss design, budget, and showed me some samples. He provided a full design with a variety of options to meet our needs and was always willing to make changes or offer suggestions. Once the design and budget were finalized, we had a start date and timeline. The entire project was efficient and very quick. If we had any questions or concerns, James or Naji were always available. Our daughter had a beautiful, new yard in two days. The walkways took an extra day and look amazing, as well. Once that project was complete, we decided to hire JNK to remove a large palm (~20 ft) in our own yard, add some new trees and lighting, and replace some turf that had faded over time. Naji returns my texts or calls within minutes. He visits the worksite every other day and also gives me the time he'll be there. His crew works hard, long hours and respectful to the owners. They started on time and finished one day ahead of schedule. They tidy up the yard at the end of each work day (tools put away, rinse off dirt, trash picked up, etc...) The workmanship is very detailed and sincere. JNK is not the cheapest, but their price is very reasonable because the products they use are quality that will last a long time. We've had other contractors that were less expensive, but they offered cheaper products. In the end, you get what you pay for. Unfortunately I would never choose this company again. Started out great but went sour. They had to come back and fix a lot of things which I was thankful for until I was told that it was our problem and needed to take responsibility for the condition of our yard. We Paid 30k for a waterfall restoration and in the end. Certain components still don't work and won't work unless we want to pay thousands more to have someone new come out and start over. Great service and really nice job they did. Got a recommendation from son that he used them. His job was several years ago and still looks fantastic. They done paver job with raised planter a 18 k job. Naji came measured emailed me options to choose from and got one we wanted. He came picked up down payment on Friday afternoon told me they be here on Monday. He came introduced the 3 man crew. They kicked ass working I thought couple weeks it take. They had it done about 2 pm Wednesday. And turned out really nice. Now can walk on pavers and not gravel got a side patio. During time of estimate told him wife had mobility issues he told me which pavers are easiest to walk on for her. Great company does great work and they don't mess around. During job I needed walkway wider at the end planter workers told me call Naji as might be more money he did not try to charge me more they just did it for us. From start to finish Naji and his team were absolutely amazing to work with. We were told by 2 other companies that it would take 4 to 6 weeks and 4 to 6 months! JNK did it in 10 days! We had our pool resurfaced and pavers done. The demo on this job was crazy. They dug out tons of stamped concrete that was there when we moved in and previous owners laid it on top of the existing foundation and pool deck. They took out all of our grass also.
