We had a wonderful experience working with Sal on our backyard project. He was quick to respond and maintained communication from start to finish. As first-timers, our ideas evolved throughout the process, and Sal was incredibly patient and helpful, offering great suggestions along the way. His team was professional and reliable--always arriving on time and making sure everything was cleaned up at the end of each day. Once the project was complete, Sal personally came back to inspect everything, fine-tuned the sprinklers, and made sure we were completely happy with the results. We love how our backyard turned out and look forward to hiring him again this fall for our front yard. read more

We had trench dug, irrigation repair, and plant removal and it was all great! I appreciated the quote before work started and no changes or hidden fees popped up after. I have more work to do in future and will definitely call Sal again for reasonable, efficient, and great service. Thanks Sal and team! read more

Top notch. I had been battling irrigation issues, valves, boxes, 20 year old pvc... started fixing small, then my long time landscaper said its beyond him, he couldnt figure out why all his redo's of the valves, new pvc wouldnt hold. He recommended another bigger outfit come in and bid to replace...everything. Hard to hear, but after seeing what he fixed the past 3 months and more pvc would burst as we fixed cracked spots i started making calls. I had 5 companies i reached out to. got 2 bids one day, then Sal was the 3rd on next day , with 2 more after him who both never showed. Sal wasnt the cheapest, nor the most expensive. What won was 1) he is licensed. So many landscapers are not. That is worth the job, quality, piece of mind. 2) I brought up high water pressure issues with our area/house to not only our regular guy , but the 1st to bidders who both said, its not water pressure, its your guy not knowing how to use or fix pvc properly (but my main guy has been w/us for 15 years+ and has done break fix over the years, no issues) Sal came and in immediately agreed its pvc/pressure. We hired Sal after the other 2 no showed. He initially said 5-10 days but was done in 2.5. His crew started at 7 and was done at noon. Fantastic work. He even redid my control box after the bid/estimate (no charge) and pointed out how to run everything, he labeled all our valves /zones. Incredible work in the hottest days we have had in Phoenix. We already have another much smaller job getting a quote. All his work is warrantied!! read more

I called Sal to fix my front and back yards that had been basically devastated from remodeling construction and from the fact that the kind of yard I wanted was completely different from what the former owners laid out, such as removing the grass lawn and the ridiculous convoluted aspects of the prior drip system. Unconnected hose bibs and electrical outlets and even the odd steel bar was sticking up everywhere. Sal's people fixed all that and he had suggestions for problems I had no idea how to fix. The property looks great now and I've received compliments from everyone who've seen it. read more

Sal and his team are absolutely wonderful! We had a great experience with landscaping our front yard. Their work is top notch. We're so happy with the outcome. I wish we knew about Sal last year when we landscaped the back yard. Spent a ton of money with a less desirable outcome. If you need a landscaper, call Sal! Great work and reasonable pricing. read more

I wish I could give Sal and his team 100 stars! As a first time homeowner (and a solo one, at that), I was extremely nervous going into my landscaping project. I contacted multiple companies for quotes and from the start, Sal was the most communicative and friendliest person I worked with. Even better? The quote was the most competitive I received. I had work to be done in both my front and back yards and Sal's quote encompassed all the work I wanted without cutting any corners (I can't say the same about some of the other people - I was quoted nearly twice as much for almost half the work). Throughout the entire process the team was great - the were prompt, respectful, professional, and most importantly delivered a STELLAR final product. Sal answered all of my questions upfront and was sure to check in with me almost daily about the progress, any questions, and updates. I couldn't ask for anything more! My yards were a barren disaster before this, and now I have a beautiful entertaining space. I could not recommend Sal's Landscaping enough. Sal has just completed the second landscaping installation that he has done at my home. Just like the first installation he did a great job. I am very pleased. Sal is a pleasure to work with. If it were possible to do so, I would give Sal 6 stars. read more

Sal was not a pushy salesman throughout the process and gave his honest feedback which was appreciated after we had gotten the that from two other companies that we had brought out for quotes. Those other two companies told me I would have to replace all the curbing around the sites to be turfed, but Sal was able to complete the minor repairs needed which saved over a thousand dollars on the project. He brought several samples to choose from and followed up with additional ones with different weights when requested. He was timely in his responses and his team was respectful. If you're looking for turf installation in the valley, Sal and his crew won't disappoint you. read more

Sal did a great job! He quickly formed a plan of action, and patiently explained the situation to me, even when I was a bit hardheaded and thought I needed to instruct HIM. I'll definitely reach out to Sal when I have an irrigation issue the next time! read more

We hired Sal's landscaping to do our landscaping in our backyard. The project included the below: Driveway paver extension Pavers from front driveway to backyard Grass & sprinkler system Paver/rock borders Patio extension and paver overlays Sal was quick to answer our initial call for a quote and came out the next day. He came out yet again when we had changes to our project. Sal was able to start our project the next week and completed it within a week and a half (which included a rain delay). When the rain pushed back the timeline Sal and his team came to finish the final steps on a Saturday. It was not expected but was a great surprise. Any questions along the way Sal was quick to answer and help us find the best solutions. Sal was not the cheapest quote we got, but he was in the general range of most quotes we received. We are very grateful for how it turned out and would absolutely recommend him for someone looking to complete their landscaping! read more

Sal and his team did a fantastic job on our backyard adding about 1100 sqft of pet friendly turf. He was responsive, punctual, and polite. Each day, several times during the day they would pause to blow off sidewalks and were mindful of keeping things tidy. This project took approximately 2 1/2 days. Sal made sure that no detail was overlooked making the ending product outstanding. We look forward to using him again for additional landscaping needs. read more

Sal was great to work with! He was able to provide a quote quickly and start replacement of my outdated valve system the next day. It was a messy project and everything was cleaned up great! read more

Sal and his crew are outstanding craftsmen. We wanted an entire front yard remodel. Pavers, walls, turf, etc. The change is exactly what we were seeking. I was led to Sal's Landscape Construction through Yelp and SLC's 5 star reviews. His crew's attention to detail is impressive, and Sal's imaginative suggestions added to the experience, which I initially was dreading to be honest. By day two, my wife and I enjoyed watching the processes going on. A day or two before they finished, she said she was going to miss them... Overall, I highly recommend considering Sal and his crew if you're in the market for a landscape renovation. read more

by fare the most expensive company I interviewed and had a bid placed. Wasn't that impressed with how they responded to my design ideas. It was like they really weren't paying attention and offering any questions or ideas, a huge warning flag to me that the work might be questionable. read more

I requested a quote and received a timely response on Yelp. The owner scheduled a time to come out and give me a quote, but then needed to reschedule which is fine. I checked upon our reschedule date as we were within the time slot and owner responded wasn't coming anymore - no apology or offer to rescheduling plan. Not sure quality of work but poor customer service provided just trying to get scheduled. read more

How refreshing to work with a firm that provides outstanding customer service! From our communication to determine needs, work through plant choices, and handle the installation including a warranty on the plants! When he was running late he sent a text to let me know. Once completed, he walked the property, and provided directions for when and how to adjust the automatic watering. read more

Sal came out and gave us an estimate and then came out again the next day to help us with a leak in our drip system that started when another company came out to test the system. We were so appreciative that he came out and helped us because the other company would not come back out and wanted us to wait and have water leaking around our home's foundation. Sal installed a new drip system and we are excited to have him continue to maintain our yard. We will also be having him put grass in our backyard when we are ready and he already set up the system so it will be ready when we are. read more

Once again, problem solved. They left it looking better than before and the leak is no more. Thanks Sal and assistant

Sal converted my 14 year old 1/2" poly line system (which was continually sprouting leaks) to a PVC/Manifold system and did an excellent job! Part of the scope was to pull back some artificial turf to trench and run the new line. His experience with artificial turf showed. He took great care in carefully pulling back the turf, trenching, filling, leveling and repositioning the turf. The entire job took four days. He was extremely reliable, would text when he arrived and when he left and overall did a fantastic job. I will hire him again to do the backyard system too. read more
