We had the best experience working with Nico and his team on our new built home backyard landscaping. They installed artificial turf, travertine, stepping stones, gravel, and pavers, and we are very satisfied with how everything turned out that even looks better than the model home. Nico was easy to communicate and responsive and his pricing was reasonable. His crew worked hard, paid attention to the details, and did a beautiful job. We especially love his design of the travertine patio and the combination of turf and travertine stepping stones. We would definitely recommend Nico to anyone looking for landscaping design and installation. read more

Absolutely amazing service. If you are looking to get great work and not be overcharged, please consider this company. I got several quotes for a backyard remodel and they were all ridiculously overpriced. I reached out to this company, they responded quickly and offered to come by and give me a free quote. They came back with a very reasonable price and the work was done professionally and ahead of schedule. He even came back to look at a irrigation issue later on when I reached out. read more

Highly Recommend! Nico's Landscaping did an incredible job on my paver patio, paver walkway, and turf installation. Their pricing was fair, the installers were punctual every day, and they finished the project right on time with a full cleanup at the end. Best of all, they went above and beyond by spotting a potential window reflection issue that could burn the new turf and temporarily protected those spots with extra turf until I could install window sunscreens. Fantastic service and quality work--would definitely hire them again! read more

Great quality of work, they are fast and completed all my request. Left the job site clean and gave the best quote. Would definitely recommend them and call them back for any other work I may need in the future. 100% satisfied. read more

We found Nico's Landscaping right here on Yelp, along with a few other companies. We scheduled consultations with 3 companies for our new construction home. Right from the first meeting, we knew we were in good hands with Nico. The other companies wanted to dictate what our yard would look like when they finished, but Nico actually listened to our vision. Instead of just being his client, we felt like we would be partners. On top of that, we liked that Nico would be present on the job working with his crew. And finally, his prices were fair. He is just a professional, hard worker that takes pride in his projects. He wants his customers to be happy, and isn't looking to rip anyone off. Nico took our yard from a blank canvas, and made our yard our own little masterpiece. We love the travertine patio and walkways, the landscape lighting and sprinkler system, turf, and all of the landscaping. But Nico also built us a combination fire pit/water feature that we designed, and it came out perfect! If you are looking for a full service landscaper, give Nico a call. We are so happy that we did! read more

We had Nico's Landscaping out last year to install turf in our backyard. They were so amazing, we had them come back this week to totally do a makeover our front yard and again, they did an incredible job. NIco is fantastic to work with. Very responsive, listens to your thoughts and adds in his expertise. His crews are polite and hard working! We don't take recommendations lightly, but would absolutely recommend Nico's Landscaping. Truly a pleasant experience with beautiful end result. Our house looks happier too! read more

We reached out to Ruben a few days ago to see if he can help install some lights into our backyard and he responded so quick! Within only a few days, he was able to come out and put our lights up and they were able to make our backyard so beautiful with the added lights. The pricing for the install was very reasonable as well! Thank you so much for another successful project done, Ruben and team! read more

What a great experience! Nico answered my query immediately and came immediately to give us an estimate to redo the entire front yard. It was a very reasonable price. He immediately came up with a design we loved. He and his team showed up 2 days later and completed the job in 2 days. The weed barrier should help my husband avoid the job, and I loved the new rock and boulders. Better than we could have come up with on our own. We are super happy and highly recommend him! read more

DO NOT HIRE. I waited 2 wks for my scheduled day. 1) I called the day before to confirm my appt. 2) when they didn't show up at the appt time I called and Nico said he'd get back to me, he didn't. 3) I called the next day and left a message and later in the day left a text message......No response! We decided to downsize our backyard grass area and moved the sprinklers to the smaller area. We decided to go with Nico's Landscaping after meeting Rubin and agreeing on a plan to take out the unwanted grass and add edging on a long planter, tree, the grass and add a sidewalk. Very small gravel was added to fill/cover the area that was grass. They removed lots of soil so the unwanted grass could not return. They cleaned up before they left. We are very happy with the finished product. read more

Nico continues to be a true professional. 4 months after he completed my project, I have had to call him 4 times for various issues. All related to miscellaneous irrigation challenges. 1 time with his installation- which turned out to be user (my) error, and the other 3 times were for the front yard that he did not work on. He was very responsive, patient and professional. I can't recommend this company enough. Nico's Landscaping is worth their weight in gold. read more

Nico's Landscaping did a fantastic job on our yard renovation project. The team quickly removed the grass which was in bad shape and installed desert landscaping. Nico made good suggestions and presented us with options to get the home looking better. The team also installed brick boarders and a paver walkway. These features came out great. They perform quality work, show up on time and keep their commitments. His crew was able to complete the project in two days. I would definitely choose them again on a future project and recommend them to others. read more

We just had Nico's Landscaping out to take out our grass lawn and replace with artificial turf. From start to finish the project went smoothly! I called for an estimate and Ruben came the next day. We discussed the yard and option. They started right after the holiday weekend and finished in 3 days. The workers were polite and worked hard! We are already planning some front yard work in the Fall. A very pleasant experience with great people! read more

Ruben from Nico's Landscaping came as he promised and gave me a quote for my backyard landscaping. I asked 2 more quotes from other landscapers and Nico was the most reasonable. Work started and finished as he promised and I cannot be happier with the result. He turned my backyard from an "unusable" space to a beautiful, clean and relaxing space. Ruben is a very hardworking guy and very easy to talk to. He listens and accommodates when he can to my requests. I am happy I chose him. (See pictures of before and after.) read more

I knew I wanted to get my yard done after the new year and reached out to quite a few landscaper companies for a quote. None except Nico answered me. Not only did he answer me, he did it within minutes and was ready to give a quote same day. This was my second time getting a new build done so once he gave me the quote I knew it was fair. And once he got started he finished the job before the estimate he gave me and the communication was great. Im very happy with the end result, he duplicated the picture I gave him for a vision. My wife and I bought our home last year, but the previous owners didn't do much for landscaping in the backyard. The side "patio" (if you can call it that) was tiny and faced the block wall so there's not much of a view and not much space for seating. After saving up, we began accumulating estimates that we sent out and requested via Yelp! Ruben at Nico's Landscaping was the first to respond last week Sunday when I submitted the request. Despite it being a Sunday evening, he answered all of my questions promptly, professionally and gave me all of the information I needed. It's tough to chat about projects like this without actually seeing the area first hand. Ruben called me the following day and advised he would be in my area the next day. Despite me not getting home from work until after 4 p.m., he worked around my schedule and met me at home shortly thereafter. This was a very nice surprise and extremely accommodating on his behalf. My wife and I were so appreciative! We explained what we wanted done and also told him we wanted patio pavers in a gray-scale color. He took note of all of the information we gave him and went to work the next day locating the (2) pallets of gray pavers we needed to complete our project! In a very short period of time, he accumulated the pavers and said he could get started as early as the following Saturday... just 6 days from the original Yelp request! AMAZING!!! He said he would be at our home at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday and it was 6:58 a.m. when he showed up... PERFECTION!! He and his crew pulled a 9-hour day on Saturday and they even came back today (Sunday) to complete the job in its entirety. The paver patio slopes away from the house so water isn't accumulated. He locked in the entire outer edge with concrete and leveled everything out as it should be. They cut any custom pieces that needed to be cut and no paver was out of place. The existing gaps were filled in tightly and compacted with dense said to keep everything rigid and professional. The entire project is approx. 20' L and 8' W. It's not an enormous space by any stretch of the imagination, but it is perfect for my wife and I. We have plenty of room to stretch out, do some BBQ'ing and relaxing in our backyard. I would not hesitate to recommend Ruben and his entire crew at Nico's Landscaping to my family, friends or fellow Yelp'ers. They were all professional, polite and more than accommodating to the schedules of my wife and I. He text me when he said he would. He called me when he said he would. He showed up and completed the job when he said he would AND the best part? His estimate was LOWER than the other businesses who contacted me MUCH later than Ruben! (in fact, a few businesses did not even bother to respond to my quote request!) Thanks again, Ruben to you and your crew! We will most definitely use you again in the future! read more
