When looking for a hardscape landscaping professional, it can be quite burdensome and intimidating with so many companies out there. This was our experience with how our new home project started, not knowing where to even begin. We had only been in the area for a couple of months and there were so few in the neighborhood who had even started on landscaping projects that we could compare notes with and ask their opinions, so we looked at a handful online and started requesting quotes. Four Sons Landscaping was on our radar as we saw one of their signs and we had also obtained one of their flyers. We looked them up online and submitted the contact form and were pleasantly surprised to receive not only a quick response within hours, but from someone who was very cordial and professional and seemed trustworthy and interested by wanting to come out to our house and give us a quote. That individual was Kristin, who is one of the family owners, and she scheduled to meet with us and her project manager Jonathan within a day. They both showed up promptly and on time at our home with such a pleasant attitude and showed us right away they were there to help us plan the design we were looking for. Our side and backyard are both very limited in space, so this project was smaller than most the company is used to handling, however, they assured us they were willing to make it happen. Right away, Kristin designed a 3D video of what the end result would look like, both in daylight and at night. We were so impressed with it and happily accepted their quote and start date. We would like to point out the communication was handled very professionally from beginning to end and every one of our questions and concerns were handled with care and addressed without any issues. Jonathan and his excellent crew were happy to help us with any added needs including watering our newly planted trees for us while we were away on a trip and helping us secure our privacy screens which we were so grateful for! Our project included travertine paver walkways in the front and side yard, pathway lights throughout the front and backyard, a newly installed turf with travertine paver steps integrated, and added irrigation to our trees we had already installed. We can't say enough how happy we are with how everything turned out and we were so relieved after going through the anxiety of finding the right team! Excellence from project start to finish... I recently had Four Sons Landscaping turn my small patio home backyard from basic dirt lot to a wonderful landscaped area. It has been our pleasure to work with 4 Sons recently on our back yard landscaping project. The work they did exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend them. To provide some context, we purchased a new built home and based on recommendations from friends in the area, we contacted 4 Sons. We started with Kristen and her designs. She is terrific to work with and is very professional, friendly, patient and exceptionally talented, creating amazing designs and 3-D 'fly-throughs' that took our ideas and gave them life. She was exceptional to work with throughout the process and took my wife's ideas and changes in stride, providing us with all the information on costs, schedules and any issues that came up with sourcing materials along the way. Once construction began, the crew from 4 Sons was outstanding. They are a small, family owned and operated company and once our pool was done, they started on our back yard working through some brutally hot weather. We were provided a high-level estimate on the work completion and indeed, the final result was done within the timeframe we expected. Johnny was terrific to work with, making sure we knew what was going on and answering any questions we had, while making suggestions along the way to ensure we were happy. All of the people working on our project were great - especially Jonathon. We've dealt with a number of landscape / home improvement companies over the last 20 years here in the Phoenix area and 4 Sons was one of the best. Four Sons is the best, period. They are a small family owned business that was recommended to me by several others in the area. From start to finish nicest, friendliest, most professional company I have worked with. Their work is impeccable. Four Sons completely landscaped my backyard beginning with Kristin providing a 3D rendition of what I envisioned and then leaving a finished product that looked exactly like the rendition. She took a very rough sketch brought it to life and Johnny and his sons and crew, turned it into a backyard oasis. The stonework is impeccably done, the plants selected to be placed in the garden are perfect and the team placed them beautifully, providing a flowering symmetry that I will enjoy for years to come. Johnny even thankfully convinced me to change the colored glass for the fire-pit and he was spot-on. Knowing I had a large family gathering as a finish target date goal, Kristin and Johnny squeezed me in between other jobs to ensure it was finished in time and I am thankful for it. My wife and I purchased a new build home in Buckeye, AZ. We loved our new home but there was only one thing it needed, a backyard as it came with just dirt. I did some researching on Yelp and Nextdoor and I came across Four Sons Landscaping, I enjoyed the fact that they are a local family business based in Buckeye as well. She is very friendly and really took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and explained everything thoroughly. Once she had an idea on what we were looking for she put together a really awesome 3D render video of the design that really helps you envision what the finished project will look, she made the small adjustments to make it perfect! Kristin was an absolute pleasure to work with and she was always available whenever I had further questions or wanted to make any adjustments. Kristin kept me updated with the timeframe on when they were expecting to start our project and once our date came, the magic begun!
