Hector was amazing! Very responsive and gave our yard the makeover it needed. He and his team worked diligently to get our trees and plants in and he patiently showed me how our sprinklers worked. He even has a warranty for plants and trees after a certain time that may get fried from the sun right after install - very handy for desert living! Would absolutely recommend! read more

We had a great experience working with Hector on a couple of small paver projects. He and his crew did an excellent job--finishing several days ahead of schedule--and the paver work looks fantastic! Communication was smooth throughout the process, and getting a quote and scheduling the start date was quick and hassle-free. The quality of workmanship really stood out. We'll definitely be using Nevarez Landscaping again for future projects. read more

We had an absolutely fantastic experience with Nevarez Landscaping and couldn't be happier with the results! They completely transformed our front yard. The team demolished our old, deteriorating concrete walkway and replaced it with stunning limestone pavers that truly elevated the look of our home. They also did a full overhaul of our drip irrigation system and removed the front yard grass, replacing it with a beautiful, natural desert landscape that fits the area perfectly. Landscape lighting was also installed and makes the front yard look incredible at night. Hector was amazing to work with throughout the entire process. He was always quick to respond to our questions and incredibly accommodating, especially since we were on vacation for part of the project. Even when we added more requests later on -- like additional plants and extra lighting -- he handled everything seamlessly. Highly recommend Nevarez Landscaping! read more

From initial design to execution, Hector and his team were great to work with. Completely understanding of my budget, he helped me entertain various ideas/design options until I decided what I wanted. They were never pushy with any ideas nor incessantly calling me until I committed which is a lot to say compared to other landscapers. Highly recommend if you want to work with a professional landscaper with great work ethic and communication skills. My yard went from a literal dirt pit with construction debris to this turf/paver/rock design w/irrigation in under 4 working days. read more

I HIGHLY recommend Nevarez Landscape. Hector and his crew are outstanding in every way. Prompt. Professional. Craftsmen. Respectful and incredibly Hard Working. Hector provided a very fair quote for the work at my home in Central Phoenix. Throughout their time working on our property, we decided to have Nevarez Landscape do some additional work that was also fairly quoted and I cannot stress enough how thorough and meticulous they were about every stage of our project. We are very happy with the finished work and have been receiving the nicest comments from everyone in our neighborhood about the work Nevarez completed. Nevarez Landscape was recommended to us by our neighbor friend. Hector and his team were amazing and we highly recommend using them for your next landscape project. We had a paver pad for a hot tub installed, in addition to refreshed borders and rock in our front and back yard. We also had a french drain put in where we had some flooding during heavy rains. These past couple weeks of rain proved what a great job they did as we did not have any standing water. Hector finished the project faster than anticipated and he and his crew were very professional and friendly. They would even kick the soccer ball around with my son! Hector would often buy his team lunch, which I believe shows what a great person he is and how much he values his workers. He definitely gets 5 stars from me and my family! read more

Hector and his crew are A+ gold. We first worked with Hector in November 2019 when he remodeled our small backyard space for the dogs. His crew installed sod, gravel and a few shrubs as well as an entire irrigation/sprinkler system that led from our from yard around the whole house to the back to ensure we got freshwater to our lawn before it hit the water softener. When a leak sprung due to a faulty part, Hector stopped by same day to fix the leak and make it right. Over a year later, March 2021, we brought Hector back to install a dog run in our side yard, which included replacing a faulty wooden gate with a block wall, and installing an iron gate at the other end. It came out beautiful, as expected. Hector prices fair, communicates well and often, and answers the many questions we always have for him. We'll certainly come back again for our next project! read more

I had the very best experience with Hector and his team. So prompt, reasonable quote for my landscaping and he offered suggestions that I hadn't thought of. We LOVED working with Hector and his team on our new front patio! After shopping around and chatting with referrals from friends and family, we were a little disgruntled because all of the quotes came in pretty high - way more than we had budgeted for our 'simple' front patio job. So, I opened my handy dandy Yelp app and requested a quote from a few different highly rated landscapers. Hector replied immediately and was at our house within 48 hours to see the yard and give an accurate quote. He was incredibly professional and we immediately trusted him with our landscaping project needs. His quote came in right at our budget, so we said YES! Lets do it. We had the project scheduled within 3 weeks of his initial visit, which unfortunately put it right in the middle of July. We felt so bad that they were working in the heat but don't fret, we kept them hydrated with lots of Powerade! The project consisted of laid pavers for a walkway and patio, a rock border along the patio and house, and plants with irrigation. They had the job done within 4 days and it is all that we had dreamed of and more. {See before & after photo!} We'll definitely use Hector and his team for future landscaping projects. Most importantly, we can't wait for the weather to cool down so that we can sit outside and enjoy our gorgeous front patio! :) Thank you so much, Hector and team. You're the best! read more

Hector is very professional and worked with us to provide multiple quotes as we figured out exactly what we wanted. He showed up to any appointment on time and communicated greatly in emails when needed. We did not end up using his services (we had a very unrealistic short timeline so that is beyond his controls) but he was in our top two. I know if we would have used him, we would have also loved the product he provided. He also has really competitive pricing and did provide a quick start date (about 2-3 weeks) after his quote. Unfortunately at this time we needed it just a week earlier. Thank you Hector for your time and details in the quote process. You were great to work with! read more

I received bids from multiple landscaping companies in PHX and Hector's at Nevarez was definitely competitive. Additionally, the estimate listed out pricing and descriptions for each line item. This gave us max flexibility and the ability to really compare to other bids. Throughout the project, Hector was communicative, friendly, and professional and always provided updates, explanations, etc when contacted. I couldn't be happier with the services rendered. My yard looks awesome - new pavers in, irrigation system repaired and rerouted, new plants in, turf down where needed. The Nevarez crew did a fantastic job. Every individual we chatted with on the team was kind and professional and we are eager to enjoy our freshly fixed up yard for the rest of the cool season. Would absolutely do business with this company again, no question. Thank you! read more

I started searching for a landscape company to give me a quote for a new front/side yard remodel project. I contacted a total of seven companies who all had good reviews on Yelp and other sites. Of those seven, only three provided a quote after coming out to my house, and only two of those followed up with a phone call and diagram of the proposal. From the beginning of my project, Hector Nevarez communicated better than any other company and provided me answers to any questions I had. When I changed a couple things with the landscape design, he immediately made the changes, updated the quote, and communicated with me. At the start of my project, Hector and crew arrived right on time and worked tirelessly on the project. The original quote and schedule were for the project to take 7-8 business days to complete. Hector brought extra help and they completed my project in four days! The final results were exactly what I wanted, and then some. The artificial grass, rock, rip/rap, irrigation system, and plants were installed perfectly and I could not be happier with the results. Lastly, I got to meet Hector's dad on the job too. It was clear this is a family affair and they take great pride in their work product. Thank you Hector and crew for doing an excellent job and it was very nice to meet you all. read more

So far I say great service. Hector arrived on schedule surveyed my yard today and discussed options for my landscaping. No pressure sales tactics used. Looking forward to receiving itemized quote. Hector and his father did a very good job of replacing our irrigation system and the removal of our palm tree. The crew did an excellent clean up and completed the job when stated. The system was pressure checked for leaks, then setup the new schedule and explained the schedule. The total price was reasonable and competitive compared to other estimates. Everything was explained and questions were answered. They arrived 1 day ahead of schedule, completed the entire job in 2 days and communications were excellent. All I wanted was an RV gate. I contacted 4 or 5 contractors, even had 2 come out to visit. Promised bids then nothing. My wife found Hector on Yelp. He set a date. He was on time. He was professional, and listened well to my wife and her requests. Within a week we had a bid that far exceeded our expectations. Hector, his father and crew arrived promptly and went to work. We called 6 Landscapers. 3 showed up to give bids. Hector was one of them. I got a line by line detailed description of proposed work. That list was somewhat amended and was discussed in full..again. Day number one started with a walkthrough of the items on the list. Then, the dirt began to move with a crew (lead by Hector's Father) that were here to work. 10:00am-5:00pm everyday like clockwork. Working with Hector and his crew has been an absolute pleasure! From the beginning, the communication and professionalism were excellent and continued throughout the project. Hector completely understood our vision and was able to offer advice when needed to make our dream back and front yard come true! Our back and front yard were full of weeds and depressing, and now it is a beautiful, tranquil space to enjoy with our family! As the date for the beginning of the project approached, Hector reached out to us to let us know that we were on target and provided an itinerary for each day's work. Hector is thoughtful and patient, and the company's prices are very fair. The crew were such hard workers and finished the project ahead of schedule!! Hector, Manuel and the Nevarez team finished up my small back yard rework today and I could not be happier. Having attended the Home & Garden show, I got information for two other companies to bid the work, but I wanted three. So, I found them here on Yelp and based on the reviews, I contacted them for a quote. I'm so glad I did! From start to finish the professionalism was ever present - they were quick to respond to my initial inquiry; arrived when he said he would for our appointment; provided a thorough bid at a very competitive price; answered my questions quickly; kept in communication with me along the way; brought LOTS of samples for me to choose from; provided a very professional schematic that I could present to my HOA; and showed up on time to start the work. It was the best encounter I've had with a business in a long time. If you are looking for a professional, courteous, knowledgeable landscaping company, please call Hector and Nevarez Landscaping. Hector and his crew from Nevarez Landscape Services just finished up an extensive landscaping/hardscape update to our backyard. To begin with, I received 4 quotes from different landscaping companies in the Valley. Hector's quote was the most detailed providing an itemized list of the proposed work. The quote not only allowed us to compare apples to apples against other quotes, but also provided an agreed to scope of work that we could both work off of and check against as the project progressed. Even before starting any of the work, Hector went through all the specifics of the projects with us and integrated all input and recommendations given by us. Throughout the different stages of the project, the crews cleaned up the site every day prior to leaving. Hector incorporate feedback along the way and took the initiative to address any issues that came up. The results are beautiful. Everything was done beyond expectations. The crew's work was meticulous and the results are seen in the outcome our new patio and landscaping. I wish I had taken a before photo. Hector and his crew are incredible. Hector and his crew were amazing , work was completed on time, quality was exceptional and the price was more than fair! We are in the Estrella Mountain Ranch community and the crew travelled over an hour to get here and were always on time. Hector also relocated sprinkler lines and brought in PVC piping for protection. Great Value and Great work Hector ! read more

Hector and Navarez landscaping was great throughout the whole process! We had a bunch of pavers done in our backyard including putting veneers over our existing patio. We received multiple quotes and Hector was in my opinion the only one who came prepared and really gave us ideas for what we could do. He spent time discussing options rather than just taking measurements and leaving. I also appreciated his very detailed quote he wrote up and gave us (some of the other companies were not as specific/detailed). He was also willing to drop us off samples to help us in our decision on colors. Not to mention they seemed to have the most competitive pricing which is a definite plus! Our project did get slightly delayed however Hector notified us well in advance as he learned this may be the case. Overall great company and we will definitely use again for our future landscape needs read more

We hired hector because his bid showed attention to detail and a very fair price. He and his crew showed up on time and spent a couple of days of hard work getting it just right. Hector and his crew were great! After having a few others come out to give some bids, Hector came up with one that was fair and exactly what we had described to him. Nevarez Landscape - We love our new front porch! - Landscaping Near Me

My third and final comments barring something extraordinary, good or bad, happening. While routine service of our irrigation system is not part of our monthly contract, we do have Nevarez repair any problems we have. Even though I realize they don't test the system monthly, it would be nice if they paid a little more attention to the health of the plants they maintain. And sometimes I have to remind them to do trimming that is missed. But in spite of my nitpicking, they do a far better job than the last company we used and are always pleasant to work with. No missed appointments and they are always accommodating if we have an issue that can't wait. And if they come off schedule to take care of irrigation repairs or new plantings, they will still often clean up debris even though I don't expect it. In addition to trimming and irrigation, we have also had some work done on our landscape lighting and fountain, and I'm sure we'll have more projects to come. read more
