Set up a time for an estimate for some raking and weed whacking on an rv lot. Made sure to ask if I needed to be there as we were in the process of moving out. He said I did not. The next day he text at a time I wasn't available and left shortly there after when he didn't get a response. When I did answer about an hour later, I reminded him I wasn't there and explained what I needed done since some of his text were looking for clarification. Once that happened he pushed for a next day meet up, I'm almost guessing he expected to do the yard work right then and there, which would explain his frustration with me. I told him I didn't need it done yet, and I would contact him back when we were ready to schedule. Once I did get back to him to schedule something, he proceeded to bitch me out about how badly I wasted his time when I didn't answer before. I had mentioned I wouldn't be there, so if he clarified he may need to call or text, I would have been by the phone. I explained this and apologized for my part, and proceeded to schedule something the next week. We said we'd touch base the week of maintenance to confirm with each other. When I contacted him the Thursday because I had not heard from him, he proceeded to be unsure of who I was or what we spoke of at all. When I remind him, he then says he can't on the Saturday I requested now, it would have to be Wednesday. My lease was up Monday, and the yard work had to be done that weekend. I had explained this all many times before to him. With one day left of the work week, he left me utterly screwed to find anyone else. Honestly, find it fairly obnoxious he made such a big deal of wasting someone's time for an unpaid estimate after all the shinangins he pulled just trying to get a yard the equivalent of a 3 car garage cleaned. Completely hypocritical. I tried to find someone last minute and came up empty so when he suggested he could do it first thing Friday morning I agreed. But again, I warned I would not be available by phone as I was moving my rv that day. Said it was fine and the job would be $100. Friday rolls around and while I'm in the middle of nowhere, towing a 16k pound fifth wheeler down south, I start getting texts 3 hours after he said he's originally be there asking, where I was. When I already explain I a) wouldn't be there and b) wouldn't be reachable. Thankfully I wasn't in a cell dead zone yet. Once AGAIN I reiterated what needed done because he was thinking he was just whacking a handful of weeds. Feeling very uncomfortable sending money ahead when he requested payment, we agreed half up front, half at the end. While he was rushing and spamming me for his first payment, he then proceeds to tell me he misunderstood how large my yard was and was upping the price. Mind you he'd come out for an estimate (which I understand he probably needed clarification if I had been able to answer) and I contacted a confirmed multiple times before what I needed done. I wanted to end things right then and there but of course Zelle can't refund anything. So I was stuck losing $50 or paying him more to actually do the job. I agreed, he did the job and then spammed for the rest of him money, barely giving me time to do anything. Remember I'm supposed to be towing? All of this was insanely stressful on an already stressful process. The work was completely decently, and that's the only reason he got 2 stars. But the whole process to get there shouldn't have been that hard. If you have special instructions or a schedule you need to adhere to I would not recommend this person. read more

I had tenants that just did not take care of the yard, so the weeds were almost my height. I had Mariano come out to give me a quote, and he was sooo incredibly nice and efficient! They were done and gone before I could blink. I couldn't recommend him more! read more

Mariano's got in touch with me quickly and was very communicative. They were out the next day completing my job, which was a whole yard weed cleanup with spray to keep weeds from coming back for a very reasonable price. The work was completed within a couple of hours and my yard looks great. Would absolutely use them again. read more

Mariano and his dad really saved me today. On Saturday morning I wake to a big broken tree branch in my front yard the same day I'm throwing a party. I also had a few trees in the backyard to trim. Mariano came out in the morning, provided a quote and scheduled to come back on Monday to complete the work. Mariano left and called me an hour later to let me know his dad was coming to do the backyard only. I agreed of course. When I go outside to see the work, Mariano's dad was taking care of the front yard tree as well. I was so shocked they were able to get all the work done today, on a Saturday. I will for sure be coming back to Mariano when I need any yard work done. I'm so so so grateful to them. read more

I did an internet search to find a landscaping company for a tree removal, some plants that had dies and a complete yard clean up. I found Mariano's landscaping and requested a quote. To my surprise, I was contacted the same day...in fact within the hour of my request (which is kind of unheard of these days). Jose reached out to me inquiring about what I exactly needed and we began discussing times and a day to meet. When he arrived, we walked the property to identify what I needed done. He was very diligent on the plan of attack and even offered additional services (verify irrigation system was working correctly). We scheduled the day to come back and he was on site bright an early, began trimming up the yard and by the time I went outside to greet him, he and his crew had already removed a dead tree and several dead bushes. Once all work was completed, we walked the property to verify what was discussed was the end result. He even checked the irrigation as offered (which resulted in him needing to come back for minor repairs we identified). I referred him to a neighbor who used his service and was very pleased with the outcome as well. I now have a working relationship with Jose and have a regular maintenance schedule for my property to keep our landscaping needs fulfilled. We have gone through 5 landscapers before we hired Mariano's landscaping. He thought we didn't have a monthly landscaper that's how bad our yard was. He came in, cleaned the whole place up and it now looks spectacular. Trimmed bushes, removed weeds, trimmed short and tall palms, made everything even and shaped. Definitely a yard to be proud of now. Highly recommend him for work. read more

This review is LONG overdue, as Mariano and his team came out to my home about 2-3 weeks ago. Mariano from the beginning was an excellent communicator. He came out the same day I reached out to him since he was in the area. 3 days later, him and his team came back and did an excellent job! My front yard, and back yard was full of weeds, along with many bushes that needed to be cut down. They showed up bright and early, got to work and finished in under 2 hours!
