Got multiple quotes for replacing several irrigation lines and put down deposit with C.I.S. to do the work. After the last heavy rain we got in Tempe, asked David for input on drainage solution for my yard that gets flooded. He provided a solution and I expanded the scope of work to include that drainage solution. Work is now complete and David and his crew did an outstanding job. They implemented a new drainage solution for all of the water coming off my roof in the back part of the house to go from the downspouts of newly installed rain gutters to a drain pipe that goes out to my front yard and eventually out to the street. They also ran new irrigation lines to my backyard for plants and trees that will be planted next spring, ran new wires to a new irrigation control box and David also installed a wireless rain sensor to the new control box. Finally, they removed a flower box in my front yard that the dirt was never fully drying out because of the irrigation lines/plants that were in it. Removed all of that to prevent future water damage to front of home. If you are looking for anything related to sprinklers for your yard, C.I.S. should be the first call you make. read more

If you need irrigation work CIS should be the first and only call you make. CIS and crew were great to deal with (props to David specifically for being knowledgable, professional and friendly.) I'd give 10 stars if I could. We bought a new-to-us home in Gilbert that had an existing irrigation system installed who-knows-when. We had some stem wall repair work done and fiber internet run to the house, both of which required trenching. Neither were very careful and made Swiss cheese of the existing system. Initially I just asked to repair a known spot that was leaking and was warned it was likely not a resolution to the issue but they'd handle it anyways if that is what I wanted. I asked for the simple repairs and of course it didn't work. They came back out and did a second round at my request after we discovered more leaks and dug a little deeper into the system. That still didn't work so I had them complete a full replacement (an expense I was hoping to avoid but it is what it is.) They never over or double charged me for anything, and they did a great job replacing everything that needed to be replaced. They gave me plenty of drips and, more importantly, plenty of places to open the main line to flush when I inevitably need to install a goof plug or otherwise perform a future repair. On this experience alone I would recommend them. A couple of weeks later I had one zone that was not shutting off after the timer ended. I suspected either the new manifold (bad solenoid or debris in the valve) or the new controller. New, bad parts seem to common these days for everything. David came back out again and found a small pebble had gotten itself into the valve, stopping it from closing. He was in and out quickly, flushing the manifold and cleaning the valve blockage. At my request, showed me how to take apart the valve if it happens again. This is above and beyond. read more

I purchased a 3 year old home in 2019 and in 2020 we found out it did not have any irrigation system. At the time we were still living mostly out of state, so my wife came here and found someone local to put in a 3 zone system covering trees, cactus and her beloved roses. By 2022 we were here full time and she realized her roses needed special attention and the fruit trees were not getting the right amount of water so I reached out to Complete Irrigation Services to come out and give me an idea what it would take to correct the problem. I guess there original installer left the 3rd line for future use and so her roses and the fruit trees were sharing a line, which isn't going to work. David quickly noticed several other problems with the original system including the number and placement of lines for each type of plant. His attention to detail and care taken in installing to the new zone was just what we needed. He basically finished out a complete 3rd zone to the front yard for the roses, reinstalled the correct number of lines with the correct heads on each line for the type of plant. It was almost like a brand new system. This was in 2022. From that time on I had let my landscaper make sure the timing on my controller was maintained for each change of season. Apparently, when he made a change recently he either made a mistake or something, because I noticed my plants and trees were suffering. I took one look at the controller and knew I was not the right person to correct it, so I called David at CIS - they are my go-to for all things irrigation, and today he came over and took care of things. In a little over an hour he had not only corrected the timer settings, he changed one of the lines over from one zone to another to make sure the plant was getting the right amount of water. All of that PLUS he helped me understand what to adjust on the controller as the seasons change! No more having to count on my landscaper to keep it programmed, now I can only blame myself if it gets messed up. Thanks to David and his team at Complete Irrigation Services! read more

This is the first time I am putting up a review before the work has started. I contacted 8 different companies, all with best ratings, for installing some pavers, artificial grass, gravel, planting, etc. While most of them got back to me briefly, only David from Complete Irrigation Services got involved in our project personally to the extent that we met multiple times at home and in the landscaping store discuss design, look at the materials and choose the best suited ones for our project. He and his teammate were polite and very patient. They understood our requirements in detail and provided a fair quote. I will update this space to review their work which will be completed end of this week. Update (10/16) All the work was completed in three days and everyday, the crew left the space looking clean. On top of that, they left a nice surprise in the side yard :) Later David also advised on installing lighting which saved us $$$. What I asked for... - Repair a 1 foot area of flexible plastic pipe that was cracked/leaking - Inspect entire drip system, assess for any problem areas and advise on any repairs - Advise on an appropriate watering schedule for my plants What I got - They did not repair the cracked line. He said they could not come to the house to just repair the leak, so that didn't get done. He did however quote me $30 to come back another time to repair the leak if I agreed to 2 other repairs he was suggesting. $30 to repair 12 inches of soft plastic?? - Charged $65 fee to inspect my very simple drip system, took about 20 minutes. - Quoted $70 to replace emitters 12 emitters with 2 GPH emitters. These cost about $.50 each, can buy 30 pack on Amazon for less than $10. - Did not offer suggestions on watering schedule. Overall I was very dissatisfied. $65 rip off after it was all said and done. My primary need of getting the cracked line fixed did not get done. Failure. Will be looking to go with a different company for my needs. **Updated to 3 stars. 1 star was too harsh. I still do not agree that its ok for a company to come to someone's home for a very specific and simple need (fix the cracked line), refuse to actually make the repair on site, and also charge $30 for a $5 poly-pipe repair and only repair it if I agreed to 2 other repairs you had suggested. And yes, you were at the house for longer than 20 minutes - 20 minutes spent assessing the irrigation system and the rest of the time discussing it with me. Also, $70 to replace the emitters is excessively overcharging. read more

I had some issues getting a region of my yard sprinklers to get adequate water flow. I replaced a sprinkler head but that one didn't improve at all. CIS responded very quickly to my inquiry and had a technician at my door within an hour on a Saturday. David assessed the situation in 10 minutes and found a leaking pipe further upstream. A tree root had pushed against the pipe and cracked it over time. The time to reroute the damaged section took under an hour and the sprinklers are working great again! read more

When they first came to my house I knew Harving was different than the other two companies I paid to attempt to do the work correctly, that ultimately Harving had to fix their mistakes. Harving was so knowledgeable about my irrigation system, based on which I assume is prior experience, which was a breathe of fresh air. Harving helped me find a leak that I never knew I had and stayed longer than originally scheduled for to make sure he did the job right by getting the parts from the store to fix it the SAME DAY.
