Licensed, bonded and insured says A LOT! Wow, what a professional business owner. With over 43 years of experience, Greg is the real deal. He was very matter of fact with what he has to offer. He was punctual with our first visit to look at what was going on with our old irrigation system. He said it needed to be simplified, more efficient and hassle free. He gave a time of when he would start the job and he showed up when he said. He replaced our old out of date irrigation system in a very timely manner. He and his co-worker were very friendly and got down to business! No time wasted. I especially liked his 'supervisor' Maverick. He is a four legged adorable business partner. Greg was very informative with everything he did and showed us how to operate the main timer box and explained the drip head function and how to clean them. I asked him about plant suggestions and he gave me some really good advice and ideas of what to plant. He really knows his stuff! He was not the least expensive quote we got but well worth it. Guess he doesn't want my business in Scottsdale. I've been dealing with an issue for a long time and called Schneider. Spoke to the owner who sounded very knowledgeable off the bat in diagnosing my problem over the phone. He said he could come on a Thursday afternoon, and I said I would be available AFTER noon. He called that Thursday morning and left a voicemail asking if I would still be available. I called back at noon and left a voicemail saying I'm available and around. He did not call back or come. I called him again at 5pm, he said he left a voicemail in the morning but because I called back after 12 that was too late. He said "maybe" he could come tomorrow to Which I said I'm not available until after 3pm. He said that is "way too late" he starts very early and ends earlier. I said I could do between 7-8 am and then I'm busy. Rather than committing and making an appointment, he said "well I'll call tomorrow morning" what? are you coming or not. Of course he didn't call. You can be smart and qualified, doesn't mean you're a professional. I have work and kids. My schedule is just as important as yours. If you can't commit to an appointment because Scottsdale is far away, don't say you service Scottsdale. Unbelievably rude and condescending attitude for someone advertising a business that I might spend thousands with read more

Greg returned my call soon after leaving him a message that my irrigation stopped working. He was at my house 8:30 am the following morning. He identified a problem with an electrical line going from my controller and had it working within 30 minutes. My controller was also not working properly and I asked him if he could replace it? He said he had a replacement in the truck. He installed and then offered tips to improve my irrigation results. He also trained on the new controller. I have a large yard with lots of greenery. He made all of this look so easy and only took one hour to do all of this. Greg is very talented and i am so appreciative of the work quality. Awesome! read more

Once again Greg came to my rescue! My pvc water pipes were starting to leak from holes in some of pipes. I called Greg and asked he could come over and check out the problem. I asked if could replace all my pvc pipes in my yard. He said yes and gave me a quote. He also doesn't use cheap pvc pipe and showed me a sample. I said let's replace the pipe. I did my research and due diligence to find the most reputable sprinkler repair vendors and came across this one who has many good reviews . I placed 4 prior calls and left the brief messages as the owner wished and he did not call me back. I left a vm yesterday November 6 again also stating the latter and this time he called me back stating he did not receive any call from me and was not only adamant about it, but also a bit rude, disrespectful and condescending. He was practically calling me a liar. To prove I was right and he was wrong, I sent him my call logs as attached. It was not worth my time to argue with him, despite his unprofessionalism but we agreed to have him evaluate my system today. He mentioned he only works to 12:30 so it was all about him and not the about the customer's availability and their schedule. i am not the first reviewer to write this. Greg did go over and after his evaluation, declared he did not know what to do or where to start and declined the job; He obviously was not interested. I have had a few evaluations and estimates from other vendors as well, doing my comps and they knew exactly what to do and how to approach. I feel it's important for future customers to be aware of this as it is an unfortunate poor experience but a reality in the business/customer world. read more

We have been nursing our existing irrigation control box for some time and yesterday it seriously failed. My husband left a phone message for Schneider Sprinklers late Sunday evening about the problem. At 7:12am on Monday morning Greg, owner, telephoned to say he would come to our home and assess the system. The irrigation control box that we had was 19 years old and needed replacement. Greg promptly disassembled the old controller and replaced it with a new controller. Additionally, he programmed the irrigation system and set watering schedules for us. He also provided my husband with detailed "training" which was greatly appreciated. It gave my husband much needed peace of mind. Wanted to have sprinkler system installed before winter overseeding window closed. This was my second quote. When Greg Schneider came out to do the estimate, I knew right away I was dealing with a professional. He walked the yard for the measurements. He gave me a list of the commercial grade products he would install and a very reasonable quote. I was also wanting to install curbing and he recommended a company that he has worked with before. The installation was completed and I am extremely pleased with the results. This new installation comes with a 5 year warranty. After running the system for 2 weeks, the winter grass is amazing.
