From the very beginning, it was a pleasure working with a female‑owned company that brings both expertise and genuine care to every detail. Jayme offered thoughtful guidance throughout the planning process, especially as our top priority was enlarging the drain area to improve water flow. Bryant handled that portion of the project with exceptional skill, and the results were exactly what we hoped for. Jayme and Bryant are an outstanding team. Their communication was clear, consistent, and reassuring, which made the entire renovation process smooth and stress‑free. Their crew worked diligently each day and treated our property with the utmost respect. Just before construction began, a hummingbird built a nest near the pool. Jayme and her team promised to be mindful of the tree, and they truly followed through. We're happy to share that both the mother and baby hummingbird made it safely through the dust and noise. Once the baby leaves the nest, the team will return to complete the landscaping around the pool. We are absolutely thrilled with our new travertine walkway, patio, and pool deck. The craftsmanship is beautiful, and the entire experience was exceptional. If your yard needs a refresh, we wholeheartedly recommend calling Brown Dog Design. We're so glad we did.

Well not blank but lots of dirt, broken irrigation and a mishmash of pavers and plants. It was so ugly I didn't have pictures of the before. When it would rain it was a muddy mess. Now we have a backyard you want to spend time in. All the work and materials are top notch but that's also reflected in the price. It wasn't cheap but it was definitely worth it. I'm going to let the pictures speak for themselves. The design was mostly Jayme's with some collaboration of my wife and myself. By the way. Usually I don't trust reviews where the reviews mention the names of people but it hard to not know the names of the people who were on the job most every day for a month or more.

We have had our turf for 13 months and there is a small part that has been melted, which is confusing because we were assured, by Luxe Lawns, that it could withstand the Arizona Heat and a large breed dog. The company has claimed that our warranty does not cover this type of damage. When a representative came out to look they said out upstairs window caused the turf to melt and they'd only replace it if we had all of our windows tinted by a specific company. When we asked why this wasn't mentioned originally as something that could happen, the representative looked at us like we should have known, but didn't act apologetic or even attempt to help solve the problem. Like how would we know the window could melt our turf? Shouldn't that be something they'd explain? We feel this company is not worth even 1 Star as they have not been helpful at all. We don't understand how something like this could occur as turf should last 15-20 years. knowing this, we don't think this company uses quality turf if it hasn't lasted more more than 13 months. We have reached out to the owner, Lisa, who stated that it would be a cost to replace that portion of the turf and they would not even consider replacing until we had all of our windows tinted. What? Extremely disappointed in this Company. We don't feel valued and regret using them. I would not recommend this company as their product clearly can't withstand the heat and they don't care to support their customers concerns.

We now have the outdoor living room and space we wanted. They were not the cheapest but we were willing to pay a little extra to ensure the schedule was adhered to and the quality and warranty. I am sure there are other great landscaping businesses out there, but the reviews were key for me - I had nothing else to go by, since we haven't used any landscaping services. Reviews were accurate. Service-communication: very good. My main contact was James. Took a lot of time with us. We were going from scratch, so it took a while for us to figure out what we wanted. Plus, had to get HOA approval for a pergola - never fun, but finally got through that. Second contact was Ali toward the end with the irrigation and plants. Easy to deal with. Once the contract was signed, they indicated 2-3 weeks to begin, and that was accurate. Supply delivery began about five days prior to commencing work. The initial crew wasted no time getting to work. They kept the premises clean. Everyone professional. Quality: All I can say, is so far so good! Nice paver work, Pergola looks great. Electrical all appears properly done. Turf looks great. We are very happy with the results. Everyone cleaned up after themselves. Delays: none of any consequence. Toward the end, had to wait for the pergola parts to arrive. About three weeks to complete entire job.

We hired Tranquil Oasis Landscapes for a complete backyard renovation and replacement of our…read moreirrigation system, and we're extremely happy with how everything turned out. What stood out the most throughout the project was Nick's attention to detail and the continued pride he takes in his work after more than 20 years of experience. At one point, the pavers that were delivered didn't meet his standards, so he had the entire shipment returned rather than installing subpar materials. That told me a lot about the kind of company he runs. The quality of the finished product speaks for itself. The pavers have clean, straight lines, our garden area was laid out perfectly, and the artificial turf looks great (our dogs have already put it to the test and it has held up wonderfully). Nick was easy to work with from beginning to end. He listened to what we wanted, was honest throughout the process, and also suggested improvements we hadn't thought about, including solving our drainage issues and running low-voltage wiring around the backyard so we'll be able to add landscape lighting later without tearing anything up. His crew was professional and skilled as well. Our project wasn't the biggest one they'll ever do, but after this experience I'd have no hesitation hiring Tranquil Oasis Landscapes again or recommending them to friends and family. One neighbor already plans to use them after touring our backyard, speaks for itself!

I was so pleased with the work that I contracted them to do my front yard and side yards as well. For the front yard, Nick the owner, provided a scale drawing of the new layout following our conversations about what I was looking for. After HOA approval, they transformed my mainly gravel front yard into a beautiful park-like environment with turf, new plants, new lights, new irrigation, new pavers. It's beautiful and I couldn't be more pleased. Finally, I asked them to update my side yard. It was originally an ugly, unused gravel area with weeds. After collaborating with Nick, he came up with a beautiful design that once again transformed a small space. They added grass (for the dogs), irrigation, pavers, river rock, a new hose bib, lighting, bottle brush trees that will eventually provide nice shade for this east facing area (but won't overwhelm the space), and they assembled several vego planters (for which I haven't quite decided what I want planted there) Nick, along with his foreman Guillermo and the rest of the team, are professional, responsible, responsive, creative, collaborative, easy to work with, and create beautiful spaces. I kept adding to the projects and they took every request in stride. I couldn't be more happy with the transformation they completed at my home and recommend them without hesitation. They have even more capabilities including building outdoor kitchens, fireplaces/firepits, ponds, etc. When the time comes for the next addition to my yard, I will be reaching out to them!!!
