We agreed on a day, and later he texted and offered to do the job a few days earlier, but we kept the original day. He and crew showed up on time, went to work, and did an excellent job. Shrubs gone, boulders gone, and debris cleaned up. How they managed to remove the plants without damaging the drip irrigation lines is worth noting. Gabriel offered suggestions for weed control and what to expect in terms of seasonal changes for the lawn and citrus trees. Bottom line: I highly recommend for excellent price, communication, service, and advice.

Appreciated the initial communication from Gabriel, but as time has gone we have had a hard time getting a hold of him for the second part of our project. Unfortunately, the yard has been incredibly patchy growing in, and we were trying to solve that initially. We hoped for soil to cover the seed but he just said "no, too many weeds". No additional solutions were offered to help keep birds away from eating the open seed. We'd rather have some weeds than a patchy yard. Initially, we were pleased but we are growing a bit disappointed.

I've worked with quite a few landscaping companies in the valley, and I usually end up thinking, "I…read moreshould have done this myself." I recently had a job that I'd done many times before, but it was backbreaking work, and I just didn't have the energy to tackle it. It involved an overgrown border of Bermuda grass, weeds, and palm trees that love to sprout every year. Even when the palms are small, they're incredibly difficult to pull, and I won't even get into the hassle of removing the grass. Knowing I'd probably be disappointed in the results, I decided to give another company a try and hired Phillip. Though his services weren't cheap, he was a clear communicator and took the time to carefully walk through the job with me. I decided to move forward with the bid, and his team did an excellent job. Everything was neat, clean, and performed with high care and quality. This was far from your typical hack-and-slash operation. In Arizona, it's hard to ask for more, and Phillip has certainly earned my future business. If you've been let down by other companies, give them a try--you won't be disappointed.

July AZ got back to me quickly with an actual quote (a fair price, based on the photo I sent) - plus they were available the next day. They made the whole process so easy, and I'd definitely recommend the company. And it was certainly better than trying to do it myself.

Avoid this company. We were paying for weakly inspections for our irrigation system and sprinklers…read more Our irrigation line was apparently blasting water at electrical transformer. The electric company indicated to us a few months ago there may be a problem, but we had trusted that our lawncare people would have been doing the job we pay them to do and let us know. We never noticed because it runs while we're working, which is why we were paying them to do it. So our water bill goes up and the electric company had to dig up several pushes to fix the water damage. They also misidentified and overwatered several of our trees, killing three. One of their own employees confirmed what happened, but the trees were never removed, replaced, or otherwise addressed. So yet again, another cost incurred to us with not even an attempt to resolve it from the company. We also noticed our sprinkler heads were not going down for a few weeks, and had not had the chance to follow up. Turns out they were spraying over the wall into our neighbors yard. At the very least, when they mowed the lawn, why was it never mentioned that the sprinkler heads were always raised? On top of that, services we paid for were not consistently completed, including pet-waste removal. Appointments were changed without notice, and one appointment was marked as passed even though nobody showed up or contacted us. I attempted to call, but their automated system kept hanging up instead of transferring me. I sent an email saying we were unhappy and would like to get these issues resolved, but, even after following up, no response. Instead, they canceled all future appointments without speaking to us or attempting to fix anything. Completely unprofessional and unwilling to take responsibility for the damage they caused. EDIT: We have now also discovered that our sprinkler valve controls are damaged and unusable, requiring approximately $150 in replacement costs. Because this damage was not disclosed during their service visits - and given the other maintenance issues we experienced - we are left questioning whether it occurred during their work or whether they failed to identify and report it.

The first time, I asked for the services previously mentioned. We talked to Scott about the shortcomings of their service and they came back out and slightly redeemed themselves. We scheduled a second time about 6 months out and clarified again what services we needed: all services provided including blowing the leaves. My partner called them 4 days before the scheduled service (the service was scheduled on 10/11) and restated what we wanted to make sure they understood. Today I come home from my trip and there are large weeds all over my front yard that still haven't been pulled. The leaves aren't blown. Makes me wonder if the yard was even sprayed for weeds. For the record, the tech who came out to do our yard was texting me when he arrived for the service. We clarified that blowing the leaves, weed pulling, spraying etc were included. He told us that everything except the leaf blowing was. And YET here is my yard! Unbelievable. We have a party scheduled for Sunday and now have to either do the work ourselves or call someone else to do the work CORRECTLY. Scott was useless in regards to fixing this. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
