He said he could have his crew out on either the following Saturday or Monday. On Saturday, he called to ask if it was ok to send the crew out and I was told they'd be here within the hour. The crew showed up on time and spent about 2 hours removing weeds and cleaning up. They also removed the dead tree. The team did a great job de-thatching and seeding our yard for the winter. The price was fair and the job was done very quickly. Appreciated the initial communication from Gabriel, but as time has gone we have had a hard time getting a hold of him for the second part of our project. Unfortunately, the yard has been incredibly patchy growing in, and we were trying to solve that initially. We hoped for soil to cover the seed but he just said "no, too many weeds". Gabriel replied immediately to my service request offering a free estimate. He asked me to send photos of our property, which I did. I also detailed everything I thought needed to be done. He replied with a very fair estimate to clean up the front and back yard, trim back bushes and cactus, haul all debris out, then blowing and spraying for weeds. He also agreed to remove a dead tree stump, a dead cactus, and trim the lemon tree. Gabriel made an appointment to come by the following day to make sure his estimate was accurate. On January 3, Gabriel came to look at our property. He was on time. I found him to be very pleasant, and extremely knowledgeable of all shrubs, bushes, cactus, palms and the lemon tree. He pointed out issues I didn't realize needed attention. I was also pleasantly surprised to learn his crew also had the equipment to cut back two Mexican fan palms. He offered a very fair estimate to include them. On January 7, Gabriel's crew arrived almost an hour early (bonus!) and cut back/trimmed all the bushes and cactus, including the orange jubilee in the back yard; removed dead cactus and plants, including the stump in the back yard; pruned/cut back the lemon tree; removed all extra yard debris; and trimmed the two palms in front. Gabriel estimated this job would take 2 hours; it took 3. The yard debris filled an entire truckload. Yet, when I called Gabriel to ask him if I should pay more because the job took longer than he anticipated, he said "no." He said the amount we agreed upon was fine. Started using this company over the summer for front and back yard maintenance. Everything went well from beginning up until recently. The service was always quick and afforadble. I am giving 3 stars due to the experience i had up until the most recent events. This company (in my opinion) became inconsistent with responding to messages (either only responding to part of a message, or not responding at all). Everything was going well until i recently asked for a quote for sod installation. They just so happened to be coming to my home for service the following day, so they serviced my home and measured my yard for the requested project. I waited a couple of days before i followed up. Crickets. Of course i looked elsewhere and found someone who valued me as a customer and as a person. You do this to a client who is reliable, communicative, and understanding? I'm big on loyalty, so i was willing to not even inquire elsewhere for my project but the lack of words spoke volumes to me. Interesting buisness strategy. I even tried to be nice and give constructive criticism personally instead of leaving a review and still recieved 0 response.
