If you live even as far south as Merrill Ranch, I highly recommend BV Lawn Care. I needed a 35 foot tall Palo Verde cut down to 5 foot. Sent a message in first and Billy replied in 5 min. It was 8:30 am and even though I sent a picture he said he would be over by 11 am to make sure it's priced correctly and he can determine much more accurately the number of guys to send. He got here at 10:45 and in 5 min gave me an excellent quote and said 2 guys would do the job in 2.5 hrs. We set a date 4 days later at 8 am. The two guys arrived at 7:50 am. We went to the tree and discussed what I wanted done. I offered to help but they said they had it handled and they would come get me when done. They came to my front door when done and took me around back to check it out and make sure I was pleased. They were polite and professional. They had all the proper tools needed to do the job. They hauled away all the trimmings. They not only raked the gravel but blew off that entire side of the yard. They also managed the entire job without damaging any of the 5 large prickly pear cactus, 2 birds of paradise, and 1 mini palm tree that are all within 1-5 feet from this tree. It's a family run business, his crews are covered by his insurance while on your property. One hour after they left, Billy V (owner) called to follow up to make sure I was satisfied and to answer any concerns I may have. He also thanked me for the business. BV Lawn Care now on my speed dial, and favorites list!! read more

STAY AWAY. Absolutely unacceptable work. What was supposed to be simple trimming turned into severe over-pruning that completely ruined my plants. Multiple mature, full, flowering shrubs were cut down into stiff, unnatural box-like shapes with most of the blooms removed. The entire look of my yard was drastically changed in a single visit. This is not professional landscaping - it's careless and shows a lack of basic pruning knowledge. When I contacted the owner about it, my concerns were dismissed and he hung up on me. Save yourself the frustration and go with a more competent company. Photos speak for themselves. ***Update***: The owner's response speaks for itself. Rather than addressing the legitimate concerns about the quality of work, he chose to attack me personally and publicly, calling me disgustingly rude and telling other businesses never to work with me. This condescending and unprofessional response only confirms why we will never use this company again. read more

Love this company! Friendly, fast, affordable...will use on all my houses. You won't regret it.

BV Lawn Care (Billy and his team) were good to work with. They were responsive to all messages, they were quick in scheduling, and were at the house within a week even though they are busy. He said they are licensed and insured which is important to us. They did a good job and we are likely going to use them again in the near future for another landscaping job. read more

Brian and his team are professional, responsive and have fair pricing. I wouldn't go anywhere else for lawn care needs.

The man wanted $300 to clean up weeds in a front yard. Insanely ludicrous amount to quote someone right of the bat when many of the other Landscape companies were anywhere from $95-$140 for a one time cleanup. I get wanting to get customers on a biweekly or monthly plan but price gouging just drives away customers instantly like it did me. Disclaimer: this company did no work for me so I cannot comment on the quality of service they provide. read more

Contacted me, sounded legit on phone/text; but never showed up. Sent me several texts confirming day/time but in end, ghosted and didn't show up. Strike One, you are out in my book read more

I needed my front and back yards cleaned up. Billy came out for the quote and was very friendly and knowledgeable. Rob and Danny came out to complete the job and were also friendly, professional and I was impressed with their knowledge of the various bushes and trees. These weren't just guys with a chainsaw! I am beyond happy with how my yards look. The price was fair and the work was exceptional! read more

Nick and his team did a great work communicating and cleaning up our font and backyard. Would highly recommend their services.

billy and team did an excellent job at my home . highly recommend. good group of guys.

We needed landscaping in the front and backyard and had been trying to keep up with it ourselves because we could not find a reliable landscaper. With our busy schedules, it was too overwhelming. Noticed the reviews for this company, reached out on yelp on a Sunday and Billy came out that day to provide an estimate. His team was scheduled a few days later and did an amazing job! We have our beautiful backyard oasis back! Very friendly, professional, and Billy checked in after to see how the service was. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Top notch company! read more

Very responsive to initial inquiry and estimate; walked the property and gave thoughtful suggestions on maintaining and improving our yard and trees. The quote was reasonable and we appreciated the time and effort the crew spent on trimming overgrown trees and overall improving their aesthetics. We will be using them for future work and kudos to Billy for his efforts at insuring we were happy with their work. The crew showed up on time and worked hard without taking a break. Finished up and cleaned up to the point you would never guessed any work took place if it were not for the improved appearance of street side curb appeal. They are bonded and insured and been in business for 30+ years so we feel secure finally with landscapers. read more

We recently moved into our new home, and upon arrival, we found the backyard to be overgrown, and the trees in the front yard were leaning. Thankfully, Billy proved to be incredibly responsive to my inquiries and promptly came by to provide a quote. The offered price was very fair, and soon after, Niko and his crew arrived to handle the job. They displayed a high level of professionalism and did a fantastic job with the landscaping. read more

Billy and his crew do great work. They listen and try their best to fill your requests. They're not the cheapest... but they are worth every dollar. read more

They did a great job in getting my front and backyard ready for my house being put on the market. I probably have them partially to thank for my house only being on the market for less than a week :) Overall, they are very reasonably priced and really do well in keeping in contact as they are performing their service. Highly recommended. read more

What I like best about BV Lawn Care is that they show up when they say! I have tried so many who left cards on my door and proceeded to no show me or only come after I chase them. I called Billy because he was reliable last time and he has done that again along with doing a great job. I'm keeping BV monthly now! Glad to have found him on Yelp! If you want reliable and a nice job then call or text BV! read more

This is an amendment to my earlier review of one star. Billy immediately reached out to me after posting the below review explaining that our appointment got lost among many others and as a business owner myself, I can surely understand how that can happen. I had a feeling it was something simple as our previous communication was spot on. Billy came to my home within 20 minutes of calling me and went over all of my needs and answered all questions I had. His company will now be servicing my home on a bi-weekly basis for landscaping as well as doing a couple of other projects. He is personable and made sure to make the slight error right! Thank you Billy! read more

These guys were amazing. Came out quickly and did a wonderful job. They even cleaned up branches and leaves that I had meant to discard at a later date. Will definitely call them again. read more

These guys did a great job. My front landscaping had not been addressed in over a year and everything had grown into itself and you couldn't tell where one piece started and another ended. Within a week they had two guys come out to get me taken care of. The guys asked me what I wanted to see and I pointed out a few areas I wanted to put attention to but told them they do this all the time so just make it look good. One hour later it was a new house! Very happy and we will be using these guys going forward on a more regular basis. read more

BV Lawn Care - a house with a car parked in front of it - Landscaping Near Me - Queen Creek, Arizona

Needed one tree trim- a beautiful Dallas Elm we had for decades. I know little about trimming trees and left a decent review without realizing just how much damage was done to the tree. I was told they would have a basket to do the work. They did not. Very shortly after they left, there was a minor windstorm that evening. I called the business and a few days later they removed a large branch that was knocked from the tree. I thought that would be the end of it but it was not. The next wind, in the same area that the guy removed the last large branch, caused the tree to further split after their last cut. Eventually the tree completely split in two with minimal assistance from the wind and damage to the roof. I thought these guys knew what they were doing. Not only were they the MOST EXPENSIVE bid in town, it also cost more than twice the original payment for a tree removal (obviously with another company). My whole neighborhood misses that tree and the damage that was most assuredly created by BV Lawn Care. read more

Still a great company! I just messaged them on Sunday needing help with my sprinkler system and received a message back right away that they will be here the next morning. Quick service, very professional and knowledgeable. read more

$600 to trim a tree seems pretty steep. I've received multiple quotes and none of them were that extreme. I've been quoted to do the whole front yard with tree for just a little more than that. However, very quick response time. read more

I own a number of rental properties in the Phoenix Metro valley, one of them happens to be in San Tan Valley. I live in central Phoenix, thus it is a difficult task to get out to my San Tan Valley property but I knew the front landscaping needed service in preparation for Sale. I reached out to a number of lawn care companies in the Queen Creek area, Billy was the first to respond and the first to be on site that day to do an estimate. His price came back very competitive and his explanation of the job was very comprehensive. I hired him site unseen and I'm delighted to report he did a outstanding job for me. I would highly recommend BV Lawn Care company for any lawn care needs you might have. It was a pleasure to work with Billy and I will do so again when the need arises. read more

They must be in the wrong category as I was looking for yard maintenance. They only deal w/trees, quick clean up with no monthly, weekly services and deal w/irrigation. read more

Good job, well done and in a timely manner. Some confusion and delay, but an appropriate discount was provided. I will use them again.

Super fast response time, awesome rates, friendly and quick workers, and great communication! We had a communication misunderstanding, and Billy didn't charge us for extra work they did, just to make it right! They've even come back multiple times after a yard instillation to fertilize and treat the grass. Awesome honest company! You won't be disappointed if you use Billy and his team! read more

I went back home to visit family for about a month, and when I returned my beautiful yard looked like an absolute jungle. Apparently it rained more days than it didn't when I was gone and I had weeds damn near up to my hip. I had a quarter acre of yard that was infested with these weeds. You couldn't put a ruler on the ground without touching a weed it was so bad. My bushes were over grown, my trees were overgrown and crowding into each other. My yard looked horrible and was honestly taking a big tole on my moral as I wanted to be proud of my yard. I did my best to fix it on my own, and realized I was WAY out of my element. I called around and got a few quotes. BV Lawn Care wasn't the cheapest quote, but the moment I met Billy I knew who I was going to go with. I felt so confident that Billy and his team were going to deliver and boy did they! My yard looks OUTSTANDING! It doesn't even look like the same yard anymore. Billy brought an army of guys who worked their butts off to do a great job! I couldn't be happier with the outcome and I couldn't recommend Billy and BV Lawn Care more! read more

Hired to do a cleanup service with some hedge clipping and weed removal. Had done to our rental property before moving out. A tad bit pricey but we received our direct deposit back from the rental company and received no fees regarding lawn maintenance. read more

Just the best. Billy is so nice, and incredibly responsive. I'm a first time homeowner and know nothing about lawn care or irrigation so it's incredibly important to me to have someone who can communicate in easy to understand ways about what is needed to upkeep my property. He and his staff do an excellent job and Billy never seems to mind my questions or lack of knowledge, and he never leaves me hanging waiting for an answer. Highly recommend them to anyone read more

He arrived fast and on time. He explained to me how he was going repair the broken irrigation tube under my driveway, and he was efficient and knowledgeable about his work. Absolutely the best first-time service I've received in my 20 yrs owning my home. And let me tell you why.. First of all, I am recently disabled and with the recent rains, the weeds grew too tall and fast to the city's liking. (I wanted to wait out post-rainishly). Billy of BV Lawn Care fitted me in almost immediately! (1+ week wait everywhere-Cov19 ya know) 1. Immediate response 2. Clear quotes (via txts/email) w/ descriptions, pics, etc 3.product, pricing, and professionalism! Bigly 4. Oh did I mentioned my wife and I are deaf? Didn't matter, crew were very clear, demonstrative abt the spraying, cutting and the birds and the bees. 5. My wife is thrilled! (Drops Mic) 6. Just completely stress-free...completely.. Gotta go admire my lawn..laters Thanks Billy and crew. I got you in my Rolodex ...and the city lawn czar went away... read more

Billy and his crew were excellent to work with! They removed 2 raised cement garden beds, a huge palo verde tree and other bushes in our yard. Billy was always quick to respond, easy to schedule with and he and his crew always showed up when they said they would show up! I needed two willow trees shaped and thinned before the monsoons get here this year. One tree is very large and one is fairly small. Billy came by to take a look at my trees and gave me a quote. We discussed what I wanted and what he thought should be done. After talking with a couple of other tree companies I chose BV Lawn Care. I accepted Billy's quote and a couple days later the crew arrived at my house right on time as scheduled. Robert and Daniel were the two workers and they were awesome. They listened to all of my requests, almost limb by limb. They were very patient and did exactly what I asked. Like another reviewer said "These weren't just guys with a chainsaw!" I am very happy with the job they did on both trees. The price was reasonable and fair. They cleaned up all the mess and I can hardly tell they were even there. I will definitely call BV Lawn Care in the future when I need additional tree work done... read more

These guys are awesome! I dropped a request before going to sleep on a Saturday, had a response when I woke up on Sunday, and a walkthrough and quote on my property three hours later.... On a Sunday... During the holidays! Top notch service. Had the work done two days later and it turned out excellent. I can't say enough about Billy and his team. Place looks great, and I have a new "go to" team for all of my needs. Finally, the last bit of stucco work on the irrigation control needed to cure so I figured after the holiday it would be done, nope, today on new years day they finished out. Do not hesitate to call BV, they will handle it professionally and promptly. I am beyond impressed. read more

Billy was very responsive. We were contacted right away, Billy gave us a quote to remove a giant stump and grind it up. We agreed to have the work done and Billy's crew showed up on time, verified the work to be done, then got with it in a professional and workmanlike manner. They completed the project quickly, and did a great job cleaning up after they finished. If you have a one time project in the San Tan Valley, definitely give Billy a call! read more

I used BV Lawncare based on yelp reviews. In the time I contracted with them they were never once able to show up in time (except the initial appt). Each visit was delayed for one reason or another. The primary reason I am posting this review it the text I received from Billy after letting his crew know not to come by. He indicated I was being rude to his crew and that they work very hard. I had never once been rude to his crew, other than letting them know not to come back. I think Billy forgot a component of being in the service industry, your customer. He is maximizing for his employees, not his customers. read more

I found BV Lawn Care, after getting several quotes, in addition to one other 5-star rated business on Yelp. From the first time I spoke to Billy, I had a favorable impression of his cheerful responsiveness. I was actually pretty happy with the quote I received from a certified arborist, who showed up first to quote me on the trimming of a mesquite tree in my backyard. In addition to the mesquite tree trim, I also wanted some trees removed, along with having new ones planted. In addition to my primary residence, I also had a more substantive project readying a rental house in Queen Creek for sale. The backyard was in dire straits, and required immediate appeal by having new sod and grass installed, and the entire irrigation system repaired to sustain the new grass. Among the other quotes, the certified arborist wasn't able to handle the entirety of the project scopes I was looking to complete, aside from tree removal. Another 5-star rated Yelp business also didn't stand up to the test of reasonable pricing, and was not the most professional either. After receiving a late evening phone response about the pricing for the sod and grass installation (with audible screaming kids in the background), I was actually "advised" that many people nowadays "don't even want new grass placed in their backyard - you'd be surprised how many people are upset at having grass when they don't want it". He suggested I consider putting the house on the market as-is. While there might have been merit in this statement, the lack of professionalism and attitude of 'Meh, I don't need your business' rather than 'What can I do to meet your needs?' was one that I did not care as much for. This is where Billy stepped in. From the moment I met Billy, he was punctual, professional, upbeat, super friendly and enthusiastic about wanting to earn my business, by proving himself through his work to make this the best possible experience for me. As the owner of the business, he recognized the need to prove himself first to gain my trust as a first time customer. He cut me a truly awesome deal that encompassed both my home and rental house in Queen Creek. I was hesitant, but it was difficult to turn down what he had offered me. And boy am I glad I shook hands with him and decided to give him a shot! For me and my husband, it's safe to say that I will always be going back to BV Lawn Care for all our lawncare needs! Billy and his crew did an AMAZING job with both projects. In particular, the house in Queen Creek that we put on sale. The transformation of that house was nothing short of INCREDIBLE. Even my real estate agent remarked that the landscaping was what really sold the house, and asked for Billy's information, wanting to use him for his own projects! Billy and his crew worked quickly to make sure we didn't waste any time readying the house to be placed on the market. Billy really put his best foot forward with us by working around the clock so we could have the house on the market by the weekend. And yes, Billy stays plenty busy already with plenty of other jobs, but he still put our needs first and delivered top-notch work! The end result? We had a bid for a sale contract on that house that VERY SAME WEEKEND (in just 2 days!), and I honestly attribute it to the clean-up job he did. I will let the pictures tell its own story. He truly went above and beyond, communicating with me and my husband every step of the way, so that we understood exactly what was going on, what needed to be done. And he really took care of us with our timeline, at a very reasonable cost! There are many other little bits of fixes that he did at no charge to help earn our trust in him as a first time customer. I'll say: I'm SOLD! :) I've also posted some pictures of the job he did at our home, to showcase the mesquite tree trim, and palm tree stripping that he did. It really opened up our backyard, and made it feel brighter and bigger. We could not be more happy with his work! He went above and beyond and helped us procure some river rock to place over the planters in our pool too, as the dirt from the planters kept blowing into the pool, that caused the filters to clog up incessantly. In my experience, this is what you can expect with BV Lawn Care: A. Prompt and courteous responsiveness B. Fantastic Communication throughout every step of the project C. Reasonable rates D. Super Professionalism E. Great leadership from Billy with his team, and you can tell they all like each other and work well together F. They really do follow through with what they say they will do!!! G. They are like 'Dog Whisperers' - they were really sweet and friendly with my dogs, who took an immediate liking to them! Always heartwarming for us dog owners. To me, dogs know good people when they meet them! Even my skittish dog liked all of them! We really could not be more impressed with Billy and his team. Thank you, BV Lawn Care, for all you have done for us! read more
