Looks like another 5-star review for Alis Macias! I've tried countless landscapers, always hoping they'd provide consistent results and leave our landscaping looking amazing ... and I think I finally found the one who will leave it looking amazing. I texted asking for a quote and Alis' wife, Maria, responded within a minute I think. Set up a quote for the following day - Alis and Manny showed up right on time. I walked them through our 6-month-neglected yard which was really a mess thanks to 2 mesquite trees. Anyone who has a mesquite tree knows exactly what I'm talking about regarding mesquite mess - layers and layers of mess and things to pick up. I'm so happy with the result! Our yard has never looked this clean. So much mesquite tree mess was always left behind with other landscapers or they'd just blow the mess into corners and leave most of it. Not with Alis. They did a fantastic job and I'm now going to have him come regularly. If you've neglected your yard like we did, you'll have to pay someone to deal with all of that neglect. If someone quotes you a low bid for a neglected yard (can't tell ya how many times I've gone for that!), don't go that route. Instead, pay someone who's going to be excellent, and then hire them permanently. read more

We have been using Macias for over 10 years. They might not be the cheapest, but they are the best and have reasonable prices. Other companies hack, they trim and remove all debris. Highly recommend. We just had a huge cactus that had dropped two arms and unfortunately was unsalvageable. You can't even tell they were here. read more

Macias Landscaping - Landscaping Near Me

I'm so happy I found Macias Landscaping. I had them out for the first time this past week for service. The crew went above and beyond, were very professional and the pricing was very reasonable! I am very pleased with the work they have done and I am looking forward to continued service from Macias Landscaping! read more

I messaged to have my weeds taken care and put on the schedule. The morning of they push the time back a hour, which I was fine with things happen. Then I get a message it was being pushed back a while like 3 or 4 hours. No thanks, if scheduling like this then I'll pass on the the work. *** disregard this review I put it for the wrong company* read more

Helped with spraying my yard and getting rid of the weeds. Quick to provide a quote and offered to take care of the yard same day. Would definitely recommend! read more

Did not use them... their TEXTED QUOTE was $ 1,000 dollars higher than 3 other bids for the same work.

We had them remove a large bougainvillea that was too much for us to do. The guys were very nice and professional, did a great job! I will be contacting them for future jobs. read more

They did an excellent job, very pleased. Very nice, efficient, and pretty quick considering all they did.

I depend on Macias Landscaping. Alis Macias is always professional and knowledgeable. I have used his services for at least 10 years and for different properties with different needs. He designed and landscaped my backyard, planted new bushes/trees, designed, installed the irrigation system and makes sure everything is working properly. Alis shows up when he says he will, if I've noticed a problem he repairs it, and keeps everything looking beautiful. Speaking 2 languages is helpful also. read more

Alis Macias and his team do phenomenal work. Alis takes pride in delivering quality product and service. He is honest and reasonable. He and his team are very responsive and exhibit a very admirable work ethic. I can recommend them without reservation. read more

We have been using Macias Landscaping for years. They are reliable, affordable, and do a good job. We recommend them.

Cannot recommend Jose Macias and his team enough. They completely cleared our large, messy yard of weeds that we could not seem to beat, trimmed our trees to excellent, and did it all with smiles and so efficiently/quickly. They also charge a worthwhile but affordable rate compared to other ridiculous quotes for less work. Thank you, Macias Lawn Care team!!!! read more

I have used Macias landscaping for many years now for everything from sprinkler system work to landscape repair and replacement. Every experience has been great. Excellent workmanship, responsiveness, and value! I highly recommend them. read more

Like Stephanie F., we had MANY, many failed attempts at getting good landscapers, we finally found (and now love) Macias Landscaping. Today we were in a pickle: Our landscaping crew pulled a no-show, so we had no one to remove a big tree in the middle of a yard. To top it off, we were having rocks delivered within hours and -really- needed this tree gone! We called Macias (plus a dozen other companies) and Macias Landscaping was the ONLY company to pick up on the first ring (good sign of a quality company that wants your business!) Not only did Macias Landscaping show up within 2 hours, they charged us an incredibly reasonable price AND were done within an hour. The crew was professional, hard-working, friendly, and very competent. I can't speak highly enough of Macias Landscaping-- they saved our butts AND were the best priced out of all the companies we called. I can't thank them enough-- they also saved my sanity! :) read more

I had gotten a letter from the city to have the palm tress in my yard trimmed. They hadn't been trimmed in over 2 years and needed it badly!! On Friday afternoon I called 4 tree trimming services and Macias Landscaping came out that following Saturday and called me with a quote that afternoon. Macias Landscaping was the best priced bid I received. So I called Macias Landscaping on Tuesday and they were back at my house trimming the palm trees on Wednesday morning at 6:30am so that I could check to see that their work met my expectations before leaving for work. They did the job quickly and the most cost effective of 4 companies. Alis Macias was very courteous and professional. And they did a Great job on the palm trees too, I didn't even recognize my house! I would definitely recommend Alis Macias and I will use them again. read more

After several failed attempts at finding a reliable landscaping company, I can honestly say that I have found the solution! Alis and his crew are AMAZING! They do incredible work, on-time, consistently, and at a great price! We're fans, for sure! read more

My yard looks like trash. I haven't weeded in well over a year. My plants in the front died from the frost spells that we (oddly) got this winter. I was long over-due for some landscaping help. I called up Macias Landscaping and two days later they come over and gave me a quote. The quote was beyond reasonable! It was fantastic. They set out to work right away. They were done within an hour and the yard looked fantastic! I would recommend them a hundred times over!! read more

What great service. We had a mini jungle of brush on our patio and needed a service to remove the brush and clean up the patio. Macias called us back on the day we had called them and came out the following day for an estimate. They gave us a great price and started working right away. In an hour all of our jungle was gone and our patio looked amazing!! I will call them for any more of our landscaping needs in the future and recommend them to anyone who needs yard work done! read more

Macias Landscaping has earned our business! I'm sure everyone has experienced the no-show landscaper. That was NOT a problem with Macias Landscaping. I had called a different landscaper who came out and gave me a quote, but then never showed up to do the work. I called Alis Macias on 9/13, and he was here bright and early on 9/14 as promised. Alis was very easy to communicate with and he and his co-worker did a great job. Our sprinkler system was in bad shape, and Alis found the problem right away. They did the work we needed the very same day, and for a fair price. They also advertise maintenance, service, lawn care, palm trimming, trash and tree removal, irrigation installs & repairs, rock yards, stucco, block fences, concrete work, etc. Contact info: Alis Macias Macias Landscaping 480-278-2776 read more

After reading the reviews, I was confident that this company was going to meet my expectations. I called and left a message explaining the type of service I needed. I received a call back, and Maciel formally agreed to come to my home the next day. Disappointingly, he never showed up and never called. If this is how he conducts business from the beginning, I wouldn't trust him overall. read more

Don't believe it. Their add says same day service no problem. They DO NOT do same day service!! False advertising!!

I called Macias Landscaping because I got a letter from the town of Tempe saying they were going to fine me because of my palm trees being overgrown. They were able to come out the day after I called them and was even able to come particularly early because of my work schedule. The palm trees look great and I really appreciated the quick response and fast service. I would definitely recommend Macias to anyone needing their palms trimmed. read more

They are fast and do quality work for a pretty good price. They took out 5 bushes replaced part of my irrigation and sprinkler system, mowed and fertilized my yard all in less than 2 hours. Very nice guys! read more

Alis Macias and his crew did a great job. They came out right on time at 7 am. It was great they came out early so they were done before I left for work. I have a huge irrigated lot in Phoenix and I had not had any care for about 5 months. They were done in an hour and a half (3 guys) they were nice enough to even pick my fruit tree (I asked them to) and left oranges on my porch. My yard looks great. read more

I can't say enough about Macias Landscaping! The owner, Alis, and his crew always do a great job! They're friendly whenever they come and are usually on time. If they're running late, he calls or texts to let me know. They clean up after themselves and are quick and efficient. I always call them for my landscaping needs, from yard cleanup to trees/palm trimming, to regularly scheduled yard maintenance. You won't be sorry you had Macias Landcaping take care of your landscaping needs! read more

5 stars for showing up on time with the crew! Zero stars for not giving me the estimate I asked for several times. This was strange because they were extremely responsive initially. I had quite a bit of landscaping work and ongoing maintenance to do in my backyard. read more

When they come to your house to give you the estimate, they will be ready to do the job right then. I was surprised! Very satisfied.

Great, great job! There are many landscapers to sort through, and I've had my share of disappointments and money lost. I took a leap of faith after seeing all the good reviews. I had a good feeling when he came and looked at the job. He seemed to really care about what the finished project would be and talked intelligently about it. There was not a big language barrier as has been the really painful case with some. The crew did the whole front yard (some plants, a new irrigation system, stucco on a new block mailbox post, and new gravel over the whole front) and new irrigation for the back yard in only 1 1/2 days! Only 1 1/2 days!! The yard looks fantastic! The cost was reasonable, and I really didn't want to find the "cheapest guy on the block". I wanted someone to charge a fair price for great work, and that's what I got. read more

These guys are AMAZING. We called them 4 days ago, and today they came out, quoted a reasonable starting price, and were done with our yard (we had let it go all summer!) in less than an hour. We will continue to have them out once a month for regular maintenance, and are so pleased with their work! Highly recommend these guys! read more

Alis Macias and his crew were fantastic! I called on Wednesday after reading other great reviews on Yelp. Alis called back right away and set up a time for Friday. He and his crew arrived promptly at the agreed upon time and proceeded to transform our entire yard in only two hours (for a very reasonable price). He saved us a week's worth of hard labor and possibly a trip to the emergency room after our disastrous attempts to take care of it ourselves. They definitely know what they are doing. I would not hesitate to recommend Macias Landscaping - thank you!! read more

I looked for a landscaping company on yelp and found Macias Landscaping and I am so glad I gave them a call. The owner came to my house the day after I called for an estimate and did a throrough walk through of my property. He gave me an estimate and was very patient while I discussed the estimate with my fiance. We decided to have the work done and the three men worked very hard and went above and beyond what I expected. He set up my sprinkler system and took time to explain everything to me. I would highly recommend this company. Give them a call if you need work done. You won't regret it. read more

I am in awe of Alis Macias and his crew! I had a 45-foot tall palm tree in a tiny corner of a tiny courtyard that I wanted removed. There was literally about 10-square feet in which to work, although some potted plants on one side of it could be moved. Alis texted me to let me know he was running a bit late for the bid. I completely understand that it's hard to predict to the minute when jobs will be done, but I really appreciated the communication. When he was on his way he texted me to say that he'd arrive in 10 minutes. He showed up right on time, took a look at what I thought was an impossible situation, quoted me an excellent price, and said they could remove it right then! And no, it wouldn't be necessary to move the pots! It took them all of 20 minutes, and the palm tree was gone! (I did not need to have the roots grinded, which would have cost more.) I have rarely, if ever, had such a professional experience with a landscaping crew, and I wouldn't hesitate to use Macias Landscaping again. read more

Overpriced. When I initially met Macias he was pleasant but quoted me a ridiculously high amount to clean up my lawn. We negotiated and he ended up reducing the price by $150, so whatever you do don't pay the price he asks for up front. Then he was supposed to come every other week to do maintenance. The first week they were supposed to come they didn't show up. After two days in a row of not showing up I called and he said someone would come the following day. He then told me it would be $400 to put in my winter lawn. I told him that was insane and that my previous lawn service had done it for free as part of the routine maintenance. He then told me $400 was a "typo" and he meant to tell me the price was $150. I canceled him and never used him again. He did decent work but be careful you don't get ripped off. read more

I jungle that needed tended to, several palms that hadn't been trimmed in years, large bushes that needed removed and several other things trimmed, cut, clipped and cleaned. I left Macias a voice mail over the weekend, he called right back to schedule a time to come by for the estimate, showed up on time and gave an estimate and came by on time the following morning and completed everything beyond what I had expected. read more

I needed to rid myself of a huge palo brea in the backyard that was rubbing off roof tiles every time the wind blew. Macias was there on time for my estimate (even though I was late!) and gave me a quote so low I had him repeat it. He showed up the following week and my problem tree is but a memory. He has since done the same excellent work for a friend on my recommendation. read more

Great work, reasonable prices and a very friendly and personable man to work with. You are working with the same person who gave you the quote and made the promises. No middleman to worry about. He took down several trees for us and converted and built a planter for us. We were very pleased. read more
