In June 2021, we utilized Bassett Tree Service again for additional tree removal due to more spewing of crap into our pool. We also had Joe's crew plant additional trees. We needed a live oak trimmed before our house was painted. We had to arrange for someone to remove one tree and trim three others at my 91 year old Mothers' home in Mesa AZ. We live in California and plan to drive our RV there next year when it's safe but for now needed to get bids on the phone. I have a ginormous mesquite tree that has not been seriously trimmed for 8 years. I got three quotes and Bassett was low end for what all sounded like the same work. I reached out to this company to remove a dead tree. I reached out to them again to have another tree removed because I was installing a new fence, and this tree was in the way. I get home today to inspect the work they did, only to find that most of the tree was still there. Reached out to the company to find out why, and was told if they knew it was for a fence being installed, they would've told me they couldn't complete it. Luckily I STAY WITH RECEIPTS and sent them the text where I told them I needed the tree removed, and why. They basically said it was my fault. Waste of money and time. read more

Call Joe & use this company! I was struggling to get an appt with other companies, due to lack of returning calls or responses via email. A few companies wanted $200 just to come out and look at the tree - apparently industry standard. I call Bassett Tree Services and Joe answered immediately. He asked me to text him, send some pictures of the tree in question and he would get back with me later this week. I did not even know what kind of tree it was...LOL.. I took 4 pictures and texted to Joe, within minutes Joe called me back and explained the tree had a badsunburn...LOL! He told me what type of tree it was - what to do to the tree bark, how to clean it, wrap with tape to ensure it did not continue to burn in that hot AZ sun... Joe help us with a recommendation to help our tree, so today, we do not need his help, but if we ever do in the future, we will call this company. So I come back from a vacation to find a letter from the HOA sitting in my mailbox. I have six days to remove a 25' tall dead pine tree which died very suddenly in my back yard. Bassett Tree Service did a great job removing 7 large pomegranate trees - they did stump grinding too. They worked fast and cleaned everything up. You'd never even know they cut down a bunch of trees that day. They also thinned out my large bottle tree in the front and then, last minute, my neighbor had them take down a very large palm tree. I met Joe about a week ago and was talking about getting some work done to a new house I had bought, and planning on doing some work to the back yard. I changed my mind a few times on what I wanted done, and he was VERY accommodating and never had an issue with me changing my mind. We set a time to get the work done (7 trees removed and 16 cypress trimmed). He showed up exactly when he said he would be there (if not a few minutes early), the rate at which they worked was amazing and the QUALITY WAS TOP NOTCH.
