Outstanding service! They showed up on time, had all the right equipment, and the crew was polite, professional, and efficient. Before getting started, they asked exactly how I wanted my tree trimmed and then made some excellent suggestions that really improved the final result. Their work was absolutely flawless. I have a large ficus tree, and they expertly trimmed and shaped the entire tree with great attention to detail. This was my first time using this company, and I will definitely use them again in the future. It's truly a breath of fresh air to work with such a professional organization. Well done! read more

Can't recommend. Had a tree trimmed prior to monsoon only to have two larger branches fall. Additionally, tree is already overgrown with limbs near the ground despite paying for 8 foot canopy. I shared my concerns with company who attributed it to a "vigorous growth" season and refused to come back and trim as a courtesy. Wanted minimum $500 trip charge. Seems to be a company that underbids, then does a quick, poor job. Disappointing they don't stand by their work and value the customer/service. read more

Jason and the Top Leaf crew did a fantastic job of removing 3 horrible Sissoo trees whose roots had started to cause damage to things like our driveway and pipes. They got this part of the job done and ground down the stumps while also drilling holes (and placing a product to help the roots die) to prevent them from sending out bazillions of baby trees which they still sent out some and we dealt with them as instructed. Sissoos are resilient as all get out and didn't want to go down without a fight. Because of this we had to wait a bit to plant our new trees, beautiful Red Push Pistaches as suggested by Jason. His quote process was easy and the price we paid was below some other quotes we'd received, but fair considering all the work they would be doing. When the team came back out to plant our 5 new trees (3 in the back and 2 in the front), they removed the now dead stumps and the little cute trees were planted quickly and efficiently. The crew cleaned up everything, and both our front and backyards looked great! It's been almost 4 years now since they removed the old invasive ones and planted our new trees and they are thriving. Jason had great suggestions for which trees would do well, weren't messy all year, whose roots wouldn't be destructive, would do well in our hot dry climate, and look beautiful pretty much year round. As they continue to grow, they remind me of gorgeous park trees that I love. Also great is that they don't require a lot of care! If you're in AZ, Red Push Pistache is a great tree and Top Leaf is who I would absolutely recommend for your tree needs! So happy with Jason and Top Leaf Tree Service!! read more

Top Leaf is the only Tree Service I will use. Everyone who has worked on my property has been professional, knowledgeable and also caring and kind. Their work is exceptional from start to finish . There is no need to haggle with price ,they are worth every cent charged. I have lived in Maricopa County for over 40 years and have over an acre of land. Jason is my Tree Doctor! His advice has saved me costly potential problems , always steered in the right direction... Looking forward to seeing the Team again soon. Terry and Frank Doman read more

Top Leaf Tree Service sent out two tree cutters one could NOT speak or understand English & the other did exactly the opposite of the instructions WRITTEN IN THEIR OWN CONTRACT & also the walk through & detailed verbal instructions which were given to him before they started trimming! So instead of just trimming the foliage on the exterior of the ficus trees as per their contract & verbal instructions to continue the HEDGE of foliage the trees already formed for 30 years. He climbed into the dense center of each of trees & cut as many MAIN BRANCHES as he could with his chainsaw which removed the ficus tree's DENSE FOLIAGE! Now the PRIVACY HEDGE of Foliage those 4 Ficus trees already had formed which was the only reason they were planted by the border walls between by neighbors is gone & can not be grown back because he cut their main branches. I now have to hire another Tree company to treat these infected ficus trees because they apparently didn't CLEAN & SANITIZE their tools before cutting my trees & their cuts aren't even done according to National Tree Cutters standards. read more

I have used Top Leaf for several years. They do provide good service on the day and they have excellent staff at their office. Where they fall short: no online booking; This means a long back-and-forth to find an appointment. Must pay by check or incur credit card fee (their base fees are quite high already). read more

After doing my yard work for over 20 years, I finally gave in to hire someone to do the job. I was hesitate to have other people to do it because I am kind of a perfectionist. So, the Top Leaf crew really earned the praises. They showed up on time and cleaned up after the work. Much appreciate their service. I will be a return customer. read more

Grateful for Top leaf I have needed to have 2 massive trees removed from next to my house for 6 years. Fast forward to last month and I finally started calling tree company's. Right from the start Top leaf was professional showed up when they said they would, and I felt right away they were a reputable company. So grateful I went with them. They were ready to do the work the next day but they let me schedule a month out so I would be home and awake when it happened. I expected a huge crew as we are talking 55 plus foot trees and 2 of the nicest men showed up 30 min early and said they were the crew. This was enough and boy were they. This guy could diaper a baby with that chain saw. Even though I'm in a cul-de-sac and my tree was wedged between my house and all the neighbors fences, they carefully dropped branches and cut the tree out in 2 foot sections. My roof, house, water lines unscathed. Did not lose a branch my neighbors fences all perfect. I have never seen or expected that kind of skill. The front tree growing next to my water line and over my house came down all at once. My water and sewer intact. Cannot recommend high enough. So happy with the job. read more

Maria and Ray Hoffman 9/17/24 What an outstanding company--from when Jason Klug arrived and walked the property and listened to what we needed done to trees that probably had not been sculptured since the house was built. He gave us an on the spot bid. The bid was extremely reasonable and my husband said: "when can you start?" Kathy in their office squeezed us in. The man work crew arrived 10 minutes early with all of the equipment. They reviewed the work to be done and got right to it. They cleaned up the ground area under the trees and even blew the driveway which was not because of their work. Outstanding young men. Would we use again--absolutely. Again. GREAT company. They really know trees especially those that have been neglected for years. read more

We have used Top League Tree Service twice now, the first time on an "emergency" basis and both times they have been amazing. Wow! I am blown away by Top Leaf Tree Services (480.833.6465). This company is OUTSTANDING! The quality and skill of the work performed is top level. I am so very happy about the professionalism from every staff member, not to mention the KILLER value I received on pricing. Top Leaf Treat Services is WAY BEYOND fair on pricing as I also did my homework and sought quotes from three highly reputable and recommended tree service companies. All three companies came in MORE THAN DOUBLE what I paid, and one was even TRIPLE! I get it, it can be a red flag when you received a quote that is so far from the rest, but I took a chance based on all the many 5 start reviews on Top Leaf Tree Services, and boy it sure pay off for me! I had TWO humongous, largest-of-the-large Ficus tree species in very cramped spaces. The developer has actually planted these trees in my flower beds in the backyard 25+ years ago! They were growing in toward my house, plus they were dangerously close to several surrounding neighbors' houses and backyard retaining walls. So, you can image the degree of risk associated with the work and also skill required for such a challenging project. The staff are ISA CERTIFIED ARBORISTS. That's not only it... I had three other trees removed as well. All of which, the crew ground the stumps down to nothing so that you can't even tell anything was ever there! I mean seriously!!!! The Top Leaf Tree crew of two showed up on time and with a smile! They were so nice and so professional. They asked all the right questions; they really listened to my concerns and accommodated any requests I had. These guys are no joke! They went straight to work and did not stop until the project was finished! So super-efficient and hard working. They also cleaned EVERYTHING up and you could not even tell the trees had been removed. Tree trimmings, no stump stuff, NOTHING. I am writing this review so that if ANYONE else is in need of an honest, beyond fair, professional, highly qualified and skill team to provide tree removal services, your search ends here! I promise you wont regret it. I have NO DOUBT in my mind that these guys can handle ANY JOB you have for them. If the company says they can do it, BELIEVE THEM, TRUST THEM. YOU WONT REGRET IT. PS - the impact of having the four trees removed on day one, the sunshine into the house, spacing in yard, etc., I decided to have one more tree removed after the fact. The next say I called LEO (480.793.0442) very happily to express my delight and asked about having one more tree removed. Leo acted swiftly with another incredible price and had the guys back out to my the very next day to accommodate my request! WHAT!?!? LEO you Rockstar! That's what I am talking about. THIS is the type of company and customer services that warrants this review! This company is forever going to be who I contact for all things tree related (and anything else I can get them to do for my yard LOL). read more

I don't leave many reviews. This is a long one & they didn't ask me annoyingly to do, but they deserve it! This is the first job that Top Leaf has done for me & I couldn't be happier. They came highly recommended from a neighbor who has used their services over the years. They did not disappoint me on any level. I found it refreshing, especially in today's world, to do business with a family - owned business that cares about the quality of their work rather than just volume. And they were pleasant throughout the process. From Kathy in the office handling scheduling & billing, to Jason their certified arborist who came out to assess & educate me on the conditions, to the guys in the field who went beyond the work order & pointed out & asked permission to execute an addition to the work as they saw it from within the tree (yes-they climbed up & into the tree) at no additional charge. They were efficient & cleaned up after themselves more thoroughly than I would! Need I say more - yes! Don't depend on your HOA to do the best thing for your property or the tree. They are doing the best they can with the budget allowed. But to keep your tree pruned properly & anchored through our strong wind storms will save you from damaging destruction & costly replacement. Tree Pruning is not something that needs to be done every year. It is a gift for yourself, your neighbors, your community & your tree. read more

This is the best arborist I've found in the 28 years I've owned my home with 11+ trees. They are knowledgeable, practical and fairly priced. They don't oversell their services, but are proactive with suggestions on how to help our trees survive in the increasingly hot summers. The office is very helpful with scheduling. The tree trimmers make sure you are happy before they cleanup and leave. They are respectful of property. Excellent company! read more

Great job. On time, efficient and cleaned up afterwards. Highly Recommend!

Top Leaf never dissapoints! I won't use any other tree service. Top Leaf doesn't butcher our trees. Their staff are trained in the proper way to trim. They always send experienced, knowledgable, and curteous staff. If we have a complicated job, like a large tree removal, they send their very best. They don't damage your property and they do an excellent job of cleaning up before they leave. Their pricing is fair and competitive. We've had the same estimator, Jason, for many years. I can't say enough good about this company. Today they trimmed our California Palm and they did a beautiful job! Thank you! read more

I had a huge branch that split in my very large ficus tree. Since I had top leaf before, I found my previous emails. I sent a text to Leo he responded even though it was a Saturday. Within a short time we talked, he reviewed my account and sent me a proposal which I accepted. I was very pleased to find that he kept the price the same from 2020. His crew came out within a few days and trimmed my trees and left my yard spotless. It's not cheap to care for these big trees, but they provide such amazing shade and relief from the heat that it is worth it. read more

Our jacaranda tree is my favorite tree and last year's hot summer took it toll, so we needed to get it trimmed. I noticed my neighbor's jacaranda tree had been trimmed and looked beautiful, so I asked them who they used and they recommended Top Leaf Tree Service. I received bids from multiple certified arborists and ultimately went with Top Leaf in large part due to Brandon, who came out to talk to me and discuss the job, as well as their cost and scheduling. All the other companies didn't even bother to come out to bid a single tree residential job and we're not able to get out to complete the job for several more weeks. I couldn't be happier with the service and results. I'd highly recommend them! read more

Great Company. Fast take down of 2 large trees. Good clean up and 6 weeks later was back to grind the stumps out. Highly recommended.

I called 1-27-25 at 9:43 to schedule an appointment for an estimate. I had to leave a voice mail. Cathy called me back at 10:03 so it started off well. Cathy was polite and stated the estimator should call me back within a day or two. She said if he does not call to call her back and she would find out why. That struck me as odd since she just, basically, told me the estimator, Jason, can be unreliable. I got an email on 1-29-25 at 7:09 P.M. from Jason. In part it stated," I drove by earlier today and was able to see them over the fence. " I live in a two story house so the view of the trees is very obstructed. You can see about half of each tree from either side of the house from the street. There is no way he could have gotten a complete view of the trees. He never did call me either. The email included an estimate of 700.00 to trim the two trees. I had a competitor also provide an estimate. I was able to make an appointment immediately. The owner came the next day to provide an estimate. He went into the back yard, with me, and looked at the trees up close. The owner gave me a 500.00 quote. The competitor had 102 reviews and not one was less than a 5. Needless to say I will not be using Top Leaf to trim my trees. I wouldn't use them to pick weeds in the yard. read more

This company has done several jobs for me. My trees have never looked better. Jason is an expert arborist. He knows what the different trees need to thrive and communicates very well with his crew in order to have the best results. I will always use this company and have for several years. We needed 10 trees removed from our front yard for a landscaping overhaul. Jason timely gave me a free estimate for the project and his communications were courteous and professional. I had received quotes from other companies and his estimate was very competitive. I told him I needed the project completed by a certain date and he was able to get us on the schedule immediately. Let me preface by saying we live in Gold Canyon, 20 miles from the Top Leaf Tree office. I called for a quote to trim and shape two young Queen Palo Verde trees. These are only three year old, and had never been trimmed. One was in full blossom, the other not. I told our neighbor that Top Tree was come to do our trees and he asked if they could remove his 35ft tall Shoestring Acacia l and do some pruning in his backyard. I made the arrangements for both jobs to be done at the same time. I called and there was message saying they would return my call, My call was returned and I scheduled and appointment to have the arborist come to give me a quote. He arrived on the scheduled time and assessed the trees. He said that there was minimum dollar amount per tree plus a travel charge for coming to Gold Canyon. He assessed my neighbors tree and quoted it. The crew arrived on time and had the jobs done quickly. The crew are artists and took the time to evaluate their work as they were working. Both my neighbor and I appreciate their attention to detail. Though I felt the charge for trimming my young trees was high and the travel charge excessive, I wanted the work done by professional abortionists. Top Leaf did what they were contracted to do in a timely and professional manner. read more

Work was done exceptionally well. They showed up when they said they would and finished up quickly. Prices were fare as well. Only reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is because it took over two weeks to schedule an appointment after I accepted the offer for the job. Also I had to call them to make the appointment. Had I not made that call, I don't know if they would have called me or not. But besides that, everything went fine and I'm satisfied with the work done. read more

DO NOT HIRE THESE RUDE UNPROFESSIONAL MORONS. After paying a couple grand, they did the WORST job I have ever seen. It's not rocket science to cut a tree but these morons made it seem like it was. After arguing on the phone with Jason, they literally only cut half of the trees (just the front and cut them WAY too short and left the back half hanging over my fence which is the WHY I called them???) then they left half the cuttings all over my yard and in my neighbors yard and all over the back. Our back wall is getting torn up and we only called him to fix this and they couldn't even do that. It seriously shocks me how stupid these people are. Then, the man on the phone was incredibly sexist and rude. DO NOT HIRE THEM read more

We moved from Midwest to Chandler AZ and had a lot to learn about maintaining a healthy landscape and garden. One of the mistakes was thinking our landscapers alone had the interest and skill to manage the trees which are by far the most valuable asset in the landscape. We were fortunate to have someone recommend Top Leaf to us. They are certified Arborists and that IS a big deal in this space. They responded quickly and gave us a reasonable estimate. The crew was terrific and so careful and thorough. It was clear they were levels above others who work in the landscape business. Anyway, we were delighted with the work and professionalism. The team had lots of gear, personal protection items, etc. It is really palpable to us that our trees have been restored to safety (from the monsoons), health and beauty. Highly recommended. read more
