Great service, great price, great work! I received a quote and Jose's team did the work all in the same week. They were professional and cleaned up the area afterward. I had 2 palms removed and 3 stumps ground down. They charged a little extra to grind down 6 inches below the ground line, but that's expected because of the extra work. Highly recommend! read more

Our backyard got out of control. We needed pros to reign it in. Jose's crew came in and knocked it out of the park. Fast, respectful, good work. Good quality, good value. read more

May 22 - I paid this company $2200 to remove a large tree and stump grind to property level. The tree was removed over 2 days. At the end of Day 2 when all equipment was loaded up and they said they were done I checked the work. I noticed dirt was scattered to cover stump and roots still exposed above property level. I asked them to pull machine back off and take care of it. A couple of weeks later the remaining dirt/wood chips was cleaned up around the area of which more stump and roots were exposed!!! The original work was once again incomplete. June 26 - I called the office and a lady said she would have Jose call me and make it right. He never called. I had to text the only number I had and ask them to come back. I was asked to send pictures. I did. They then said their "stump grinder at the shop it should be fix this coming week as soon as this done we will take care of your stump" Jul 1 - no follow up so I had to text once again. No response. July 9 - still no reply so I text once again. No response. July 15 - I text ONCE AGAIN. They respond with "Hi my apologies we will get it done on Saturday. Sorry for the inconvenience" Sat July 20 - nobody shows up. I text. No response. I'm so tired of the poor service and false hopes on finishing this job. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME with this company. They also said they have insurance and would provide proof. I never saw it. HORRIBLE SERVICE - never would recommend to anyone. read more

Wow, outstanding work by their crew. Removal of 3 trees, and grinding of the stumps, as well as grinding of an old stump from before. Very professional, and responded quickly to my calls or inquiries I HIGHLY recommend J & M Landscaping. I will use them when it comes time to redo our front yard. This is what I expect from a family company!!! read more

Needed a tree trimmed that was dropping stuff into my pool. Sent out a request and had a response within 30 minutes. Had someone come out the day we spoke on the phone and got my estimate. Price was fair, service was phenomenal, and communication was great. Jose, who came out with the crew to do the work, was very helpful and had great information. They did a super job! I watched in amazement as these guys climbed up and walked around the tree like monkeys! read more

If you need a tree service, Jose Knows Trees are your guys! We had a very large pine tree in our backyard that we wanted removed. They were able to come out and give us a quote quickly and they got us on their schedule within a couple of days. The crew showed up on time and they did absolutely everything we originally discussed. These guys worked hard, fast and efficient. The clean up was fabulous. After they left, there was absolutely no mess, not one leaf! By that afternoon you would have never know there was ever a 30' tree there. The crew was polite and very experienced. We were quite impressed and we highly recommend them for your tree needs. read more

Wow! I was very impressed from the moment I reached out until the very end when Jose did a final walk through with me. He and his crew were very professional, courteous, and accommodating. We have 2 huge palo verde trees that needed trimming and I ask 5 different companies for quotes. I went with J&M Landscaping because frankly, they were the most economical. They showed up when promised, had all their trucks and machinery to get the job done. Jose also made time to give me a quote for cleaning up my back yard. Not only was his price very reasonable, but they did it the same day. My yard looks amazing and the service was AWESOME!!! I will definitely use them again and I highly recommend them to everyone. read more

The communication with him is excellent. His crew shows up when they say and they do an amazing job At a reasonable rate. Jose was easy to meet up with and did a great job quickly! Very good work and communication. I trusted and hired Jose and his crew to do a complete new landscape and design and cut a very big tree from our yard, this was quite a big job. Everything was done to our satisfaction and J&M got it all done within our budget. Due to the quality of the work we are now planning a redesign of our back yard. Definitely recommend. read more

We could not be happier with the work we had done! Jose's crew delivered exactly as promised for the price quoted. Our yard with 7 fruit trees and 8 bushes were all wildly overgrown and looked awful. Jose is very knowledgeable and professional. They were here on time, we reviewed again what work was to be done and they executed perfectly. They were very considerate of my neighbors and cleaned all of the debris! I highly recommend this crew! read more

DO NOT HIRE!!!!! These guys came around advertising their landscaping services - called and they showed up the same day to give us an estimate. Told us they'd be back in a "day or two" to start work. Three days later (we called on day two and were told "tomorrow") they showed up. Started work and told us they'd be back on Wednesday to finish - Wednesday came and went and we called with no answer or call back. They showed up on Thursday and told us the weeds - which is all we paid them to do were growing back and that's our problem. They sprayed again and left. My yard, one week later, still looks horrible. We were told $165 for the entire yard weed free - but oh those weeds in your lawn are going to be another $50. Yard still full of weeds - granted they were weed whacked down (oh and add to this if you hire them be sure to move your car before they show up as they won't tell you to, and when you do move it after you realize it's getting dinged all over the place you get hit in the head with a rock) but their spray killed nothing in the front yard and our backyard looks horrible. I came home today and saw their truck in front of our neighbors house and I should have stopped and told them DON'T DO IT! Pay more and get someone who cares about the work they do, communicates with their customer and finishes the job when they say they will. read more

Unreliable. I called for a quote and someone took down all my information and never heard from them again.

Very happy with the work from J & M. We had 2 large trees removed to start. We were so impressed with the work done we decided to hire J & M for our backyard project. We are doing it in steps. We just had quite a bit of pavers installed. The men that installed the pavers were professional and such hard workers. I love the pavers and look forward to the next step. Lots of beautiful rocks to be place around the pool area. I'm so excited to have a beautiful low maintenance yard to enjoy in the spring and summer. I highly recommend J & M for all your landscaping needs. read more

We have tried several local and known tree companies in the Phoenix area. Recently we used Jose Knows Trees from Mesa for a specialty hazardous removal of a very large and very sick and dying cactus. Although we were devastated by the loss of the giant, we were thrilled with the service we received. So many times, we have hired subs and have been greatly disappointed. But Jose Knows Trees was quite impressive. Not only did they come the same day, but they were on time, professional and did what they said they would do for an agreed upon price. Jose himself came by the job to ensure the quality of service we were receiving. They do all trees, irrigation etc. Highly recommended! read more

These guys did a fantastic job. They showed up on time and did a great job trimming our palm trees. Not only that they took the time to clean everything up when they were done. Their fee was perfectly reasonable, I would highly recommend these guys. read more

Great communication and friendly service! The job was done to our satisfaction and at a reasonable rate. Thank you.

Our yard was a wreck. Weeds everywhere. We have an all dirt yard with one tree and two small shrubs so the weeds stood out. J & M offered a competitive price and the crew did an amazing job. We will be using them and recommending them in the future. Thank you so much for taking the burden of a messy yard away. We appreciate you! read more

Jose Knows Trees - One tree cut! And the man working on it! - Tree Services Near Me - Chandler, Arizona

We have been looking for a solid and steady landscaper since we recently moved to AZ and didn't know where to start. It just so happens that we found Jose's business card on our front door and decided to give him a call. We are glad we did. He came out and gave us an estimate on our front and backyard, and since the estimate was reasonable, we decided to give him a shot. Our yard was fairly overgrown and didn't look great. Jose sent out two members of his crew and within just a short while they had our yard looking spectacular and hauled everything away with them when they finished. We couldn't be happier. I would recommend these guys to anyone and plan to use them in the future. read more

I contacted Jose through his website after a competitor failed to deliver as promised. Jose responded quickly to my request and came out himself to survey the work. He provided an estimate on the spot and we scheduled the work for the following week. His worker arrived on time and did an excellent job. Everything went exactly as I had hoped and for a fair price. Highly recommended. read more

Naji came and quote the job and he was very clear about the timing his crew could support, fully understood what I was looking for and gave me an estimate within 24 hours. He was excellent about communication and answered any questions I had almost immediately. Naji verified all decisions and followed up with me if either of us had questions. Every one of the teams that worked at our house was very pleasant. I am very happy with the job this company did for us and will use them again if we have additional work. read more

This landscaping business worked on my front yard and I'm highly impressed. They were also very professional and punctual which I haven't experienced with other landscaping businesses in the past. Jose Morales and his crew did a fantastic job installing my new underground watering system for a reasonable price. He was the only landscaper I contacted who gave me a choice of several price points, depending on the material used. He and his crew also cleaned up my yard and removed some dead branches for a nominal extra fee. I now have a 2-stage system that will work so much better for my citrus and a new, digital timer .I have had a number of contractors doing work at my home recently, and Jose was the only one who called back to check and wanted to come by to see if the work was satisfactory, as it is. When he dropped by he helped me with the timer, which is a bit more complex than my old one! read more

We have a saguaro that started tilting towards our house. Requested free estimate through their web site, Jose was in area and came to our house 20 minutes later. His suggestion was that we brace it case the high winds during the monsoon caused it to fall on our house. He gave us a reasonable price and was at our house 2 days later and constructed a brace with 2 2x4s. He built a square collar that went over the top of the saguaro and attached to the 2 poles. I don't think that saguaro will move an inch during heavy winds. It doesn't look the best but I won't worry about it falling over. He also replaced a pygmy palm that had died from the heat. He got the old one out and the new one planted and gave us instructions about how to initially care of it. He was very professional and left our front and back yard exceptionally clean. Would recommend him if you have questions about which trees, shrubs, etc. to plant other lawn maintenance questions. read more
