May 22 - I paid this company $2200 to remove a large tree and stump grind to property level. The tree was removed over 2 days. At the end of Day 2 when all equipment was loaded up and they said they were done I checked the work. I noticed dirt was scattered to cover stump and roots still exposed above property level. I asked them to pull machine back off and take care of it. A couple of weeks later the remaining dirt/wood chips was cleaned up around the area of which more stump and roots were exposed!!! The original work was once again incomplete. June 26 - I called the office and a lady said she would have Jose call me and make it right. He never called. I had to text the only number I had and ask them to come back. I was asked to send pictures. I did. They then said their "stump grinder at the shop it should be fix this coming week as soon as this done we will take care of your stump" Jul 1 - no follow up so I had to text once again. No response. July 9 - still no reply so I text once again. No response. July 15 - I text ONCE AGAIN. They respond with "Hi my apologies we will get it done on Saturday. Sorry for the inconvenience" Sat July 20 - nobody shows up. I text. No response. I'm so tired of the poor service and false hopes on finishing this job. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME with this company. They also said they have insurance and would provide proof. I never saw it. HORRIBLE SERVICE - never would recommend to anyone. read more

Wow! I was very impressed from the moment I reached out until the very end when Jose did a final walk through with me. He and his crew were very professional, courteous, and accommodating. DO NOT HIRE!!!!! These guys came around advertising their landscaping services - called and they showed up the same day to give us an estimate. Told us they'd be back in a "day or two" to start work. Three days later (we called on day two and were told "tomorrow") they showed up. Started work and told us they'd be back on Wednesday to finish - Wednesday came and went and we called with no answer or call back. They showed up on Thursday and told us the weeds - which is all we paid them to do were growing back and that's our problem. They sprayed again and left. My yard, one week later, still looks horrible. We were told $165 for the entire yard weed free - but oh those weeds in your lawn are going to be another $50. Yard still full of weeds - granted they were weed whacked down (oh and add to this if you hire them be sure to move your car before they show up as they won't tell you to, and when you do move it after you realize it's getting dinged all over the place you get hit in the head with a rock) but their spray killed nothing in the front yard and our backyard looks horrible. I came home today and saw their truck in front of our neighbors house and I should have stopped and told them DON'T DO IT! Pay more and get someone who cares about the work they do, communicates with their customer and finishes the job when they say they will. read more

We have tried several local and known tree companies in the Phoenix area. Recently we used Jose Knows Trees from Mesa for a specialty hazardous removal of a very large and very sick and dying cactus. Although we were devastated by the loss of the giant, we were thrilled with the service we received. So many times, we have hired subs and have been greatly disappointed. But Jose Knows Trees was quite impressive. Not only did they come the same day, but they were on time, professional and did what they said they would do for an agreed upon price. We have a saguaro that started tilting towards our house. Requested free estimate through their web site, Jose was in area and came to our house 20 minutes later. His suggestion was that we brace it case the high winds during the monsoon caused it to fall on our house. He gave us a reasonable price and was at our house 2 days later and constructed a brace with 2 2x4s. He built a square collar that went over the top of the saguaro and attached to the 2 poles. I don't think that saguaro will move an inch during heavy winds. It doesn't look the best but I won't worry about it falling over. He also replaced a pygmy palm that had died from the heat. He got the old one out and the new one planted and gave us instructions about how to initially care of it. He was very professional and left our front and back yard exceptionally clean. Would recommend him if you have questions about which trees, shrubs, etc. to plant other lawn maintenance questions. read more

Jose Morales and his crew did a fantastic job installing my new underground watering system for a reasonable price. He was the only landscaper I contacted who gave me a choice of several price points, depending on the material used. He and his crew also cleaned up my yard and removed some dead branches for a nominal extra fee. I now have a 2-stage system that will work so much better for my citrus and a new, digital timer .I have had a number of contractors doing work at my home recently, and Jose was the only one who called back to check and wanted to come by to see if the work was satisfactory, as it is.
