Very impressed! I reached out to Garnicas Landscaping to clean up our back yard / patio as we just moved in and it quickly got out of hand. He was very quick with responding and we set up an estimate that unfortunately got canceled due to our lovely monsoon season. He rescheduled for the next day and showed up right on time which I know from experience is a very hard quality to find in most landscaping company's. Garnicas Landscaping showed up at 7am and was finished by 7.30. Not only was it quick but very professional. They did not cut any corners and truly showed there expertise! My property is very weird with no side gate or access to the patio with out coming through the house. They were very careful not to make a mess bringing everything through the house and not to ding the doors with there equipment. Overall I am extremely impressed, Garnicas Landscaping is a professional, punctual, fair priced, team of experts that I have faith would do an amazing job on even the biggest jungle!! I was supposed to hire a company to come get the backyard into manageable length so I could then take over doing the gardening, but after seeing how good of a job they did. I feel like I might be asking for a monthly quote! ** Update 3/30/20** I let my backyard/ jungle get out of control again and Garnicas Landscaping came to the rescue! When I tell you guys this is a team of rock stars I mean it to the fullest! Words can't describe the amazing Job they do every time they come out. So this time I took some before and after pictures to let you be the judge. read more

I hired Eduardo Garnica (E&JJS Concrete Construction) for a backyard project that included concrete, turf, and pavers. We agreed on a total price of $8,750. I paid $1,000 in cash as a deposit and an additional $2,375 via Venmo for materials at his request. After payment was made, the project was delayed multiple times. Only minimal framing work was completed, and the concrete pour that was scheduled never happened. Communication then stopped completely. I made multiple attempts to contact him by phone and text and received no response. I also requested a refund, which was not returned. As of now, I am out $3,375 with no completed work. I would strongly caution anyone considering hiring this contractor. read more

Weed removal and clean up. Very efficient, did good work, and very reasonably priced.

I have been using this yard service for about three years. Last year I asked them to service my watering system. They told me the main panel had to be replaced, which they did. Since then I have had problems with a few of the stations not working. I noticed about three months ago that my grapefruit tree was drying up, then my two years old lemon tree. I have tried to bring them back with manual watering, but the damage is severe. During this time I have placed numerous calls and texts to them. They did not show up for service at all this month and have ghosted me, leaving me with a broken watering system and hundreds of dollars worth of dead trees. I strongly suggest you do not use this service. read more

We requested a quote to trim our palm tree and they didn't show up, then a second time we had scheduled a time for them to quote our tree trimming they had only sent us a price. I'm not entirely sure if they made it to our house the second time because they only gave us a price and we had yet to meet with them. We hadn't met with them at all yet to point out which tree and what specifically we wanted done. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and scheduled a time for them to complete the service. Then the morning of the service, I received a message saying they're going to double the cost without having met me in person yet and they were already late to the originally scheduled time. I'm assuming they saw the tree from the street, but wouldn't they have seen the same tree from the street when they sent us the price for the second quote? I'm sorry I can't speak to the quality of their services, however the quoting process gave me such a bad feeling I didn't go through with using their company. read more

Unfortunately, while things started off well with the service, they took a sharp turn. I hired Garnicas Landscaping for routine gardening for a SFH in Scottsdale. The initial work was good and at a fair price. However, despite receiving payment in advance, the team stopped coming abruptly and without notice. After I placed a phone call inquiry, they stopped responding to my calls. Hoping this doesn't happen to others. Cheers. read more

I worked remotely with this company for one of my rental properties and never had an issue with communications. They communicated throughout the project, from quote to actual work done. I requested pictures before and after and they did a good job chopping down a tree in the backyard. They were on time and reliable, and most of all, cost efficient. read more

Came out and did the initial clean-up of the yard, but never returned for subsequent appointments for ongoing maintenance. When asked about it, I was told they would come out after the day they were supposed to show but didn't, but they never showed again. This seems to be a common problem with this service even with other providers. read more

DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY YOUR MONEY. Don't just take my word for it, read all of the reviews who are telling you a common theme. They give you and estimate and then no-show without any explanation. What a great business model they have going for them!!! There are far too many landscaping companies here in the Valley for you to put up with such unreliable and unprofessional service. read more

Very professional, always did a great job, and provided very fair pricing. Their workers were always very friendly and helpful when we asked them to do specific tasks that weren't part of the normal routine. Our yards looked great because of them! read more

Two stars because the initial work they did was actually solid. Negative stars because the rest of my experience was poor. Changing quotes, never on time, ghosting me repeatedly, and empty promises. I'd love to update this review but they don't seem like they want my business anymore! read more

They showed up timely for our scheduled free quote and seemed friendly and reasonably priced. However, on the day we agreed to have the work done, they never showed. We scheduled 8:00 am. When they hadn't showed or called/texted to let us know they would be late or needed to reschedule, I texted them around 8:30 am to check and they said they would be there at 11:00 am. They never even acknowledged the fact that we agreed on 8:00 am. By 12:30 pm I texted them again asking where they were. I was not happy. I told them that I didn't want to do business anymore. They NEVER responded or apologized. Terrible. I understand that other jobs and factors can delay an appointment, but there was no communication or apologies. Complete waste of time. Definitely would have been worse if I had to skip work to wait for them to show. Now I have to start the whole process of finding a landscaper all over again. read more

Fair prices and excellent work. I hired them to clean up my large yard which became infested with weeds. They did an excellent job!

Not professional at all, showed up late than the appointment time, then increased his price which we still agreed to it, stated that he will start today, then we waited for him to call when he will be done but to discover that he never did actually work on the property to begin with, when called him and asked 4 different times " why wasn't there work done" and finally getting an answer out of him was completely non sense. I would not recommend, please check after anyone, he thought he could fool us... read more

We found this great company to do monthly service for my mom and he has been super consistent shows up every other week as asked and promised. Very reasonable rates! We needed our over grown palm tree trimmed and they did a phenomenal job! They kept everything Very clean, this palm is located so close to the poolAnd they made sure that every bit of debris was cleaned out before they left. Even blew the front yard clean of any debris as well. Very reasonable price . We highly recommend this family owned company and will have them do all of our yard maintenance, palm tree trimming and sprinkler system repair. I needed some shrubs and cacti removed. Garnicas was affordable, easy to coordinate with, quick to come out, and did a great job.

Used Garnica's for a few months and they did an decent job but they weren't the most reliable. Missed many things you want in a maintenance landscaper- checking lights, drips, cleaning debris from under the trees and bushes, and the final straw was that I needed granite and twice they didn't order and do the work as promised. It was time to move on. If you use them, you need to manage them. read more

I just started using this company that was recommended to me by a friend. I have had 3 weekly lawn services to date, and they are also working on getting my trees trimmed a few at a time. They have been doing a great job so far. The communication is great. They contact me before they arrive and let me know if they're running late. The yards look great. I recommend this company for yard maintenance needs. read more

Very responsive when making appointments, great service! Thank you for your landscaping service!

I had this business come out and quote me on doing landscaping at my home. We walked the yard and decided on a set amount per service land we scheduled for the next day. I texted him to confirm and he asked for my address but never showed up. I texted multiple times and didn't receive a return text. Very unreliable. read more

Very disappointing. Did a great job at first, but then stopped showing up. They were supposed to come out 3 weeks ago and no showed me. I messaged 4x through Yelp and no response. After multiple times of calling, I finally reached them. I received no apology or offer to make it right, just that they'd show up the coming Monday, but guess what? They didn't show! So I called again and they said Thursday, and once again, THEY DIDN'T SHOW UP. Extremely unprofessional. read more

Asked about getting a quote for my landscaping project. He set up a date and didn't show. Told me after he could go the next day. Excellent work. I had a very big project that took several days to complete. These guys were fantastic. A large portion of a mesquite tree came down and Garnicas offered me a very reasonable price to cut it up into logs that I can use for BBQ and haul the rest away. We were extremely happy with the work Garnicas Landscaping provided. They arrived on time, performed the trimming of my two tall California palm trees efficiently and effectively (completed the work in about an hour), and then cleaned up the yard well afterwards. They had quoted a fair and compelling price, and there were no surprises. I also appreciated that they were a family team (father and his sons).
