The staff at the Mesa location are outstanding. The store is impeccably clean, spacious and well organized. Synthetic grass does not get better than this. As soon as we walked in the showroom we were warmly greeted by John, who was anything but a pushy salesperson. Instead he expressed a genuine interest in assisting us with the selection process. He asked us a few basic questions but most of all he listened. Rather than a lengthy, dull lecture about their products, John actually educated us on the styles, functionality and most of all the warranty of their products. Although we were dressed casually and had initially intended just to "look", we were treated like our interest and time were appreciated. Even the store manager Tosha, was a delight to work with. Everyone here smiles, makes eye contact and thanks you. It is the kind of business I could send my wife to without worrying that she was going to be exploited or sold something she doesn't need. I can honestly say I can't remember the last time I receive such pleasant treatment at either of those two national chain home improvement stores close to our Higley and Southern neighborhood. We actually purchased synthetic grass in the past from one of those chain stores and were less than ecstatic. The material felt cheap and after having it professionally installed, it stood out as anything but natural looking grass. John and Tosha patiently walked me through the process of installing it myself and left me feeling confident that I could take this project on without a contractor. They assured me that they were always available to assist, even after the purchase. After such a wonderful experience, how could I not purchase from the Mesa Synthetic Grass Store. I bought a 30 ft by 15 ft roll and all the required supplies. They even rent out all of the tools I need for installation. To make the deal even sweeter the style of grass I bought (Daytona 80) was on sale. With the amount of money I saved on this project by doing it myself, I can now pay for my long awaited outdoor kitchen area. Thank you Tosha and John! The employees are friendly and helpful, not only with recommendations on how to install and care for your turf correctly, but also to work with you to get the best price for a product that will fit what you are looking for. They helped us figure out the square footage of turf, fill products, and nails we would need, gave us a quote, and told us to come back whenever we were ready to purchase. Very helpful and not pushy sales people. After we purchased the turf they helped us load it and all accompanying materials in the truck and even provided us tie downs when I forgot ours at home. The combination of the friendly and helpful employees and the pricing for the material make this the go-to store for all your artificial turf needs. I got a few crazy high estimates for redoing the synthetic grass in my front yard. As an alternative, I searched out nearby synthetic grass retailers and found this store...my best find of the year!!! The store is fabulous. They have large displays in front of the store and then samples and project displays inside. I was beyond impressed. Paul looked at my yard photo, listened to my needs, answered every question effectively, and came up with a terrific product. Paul is amazing!!! He really listened to my needs and wanted me to be happy, not just spend a boatload of money. He's the best! I'm a super satisfied customer. I went into the Mesa location shopping for 615 square feet of turf. I must say the manager Tasha single handedly made it an awesome experience. I came in about 30 minutes before the location closed and she patiently worked with me while also taking care of 2 other customers. Even though the 2 customers came in after me, at no time did I ever feel neglected by her. She was very attentive and informative. She patiently helped me an hour after the store closed. At no time did she make me feel rushed. I understand that TSGS is in business to make money but Tasha accomplishes this while continuing to focus on excellent customer service and a awesome shopping experience. Incredibly nice people, great customer service, and a killer product to boot. I just moved to a new house that had desert landscaping, and my spoiled dog won't pee on anything that isn't green. I showed up to see if they had anything, and Renee and Brian were so helpful. They gave me a remnant for free, which was a pleasant surprise. We spoke for a few minutes about what they did, and I took a look around at some of the unique options they offer. They asked about my dog and were genuinely interested. It was such a pleasant experience that I've been telling people about it for a month. As a landscaper, I'm finding it more and more necessary, as the synthetic grass industry grows and the customer popularity for it increases, to have some kind of working knowledge of how it's installed, types of product, the various costs and of course having a go-to person(s) should I need advice. Brian and Renee at the Mesa shop were exactly the right people to see.They were more than willing to assist with all my questions and took a concerted amount of time to instruct me on all grasses, the proper seaming of grass, staking, etc. They made it clear that they were there should I need any assistance in the future. From the moment I stepped into this store I felt like I was right at home. Tosha, the Mesa store manager greeted me with a smile and what a wonderful person she is! She and Claire (not sure I spelled her name right) helped me with my grass purchase and Tosha made sure I got the best deal possible. Ok, got a new puppy. So I was looking for some synthetic grass to try out as part of the house training routine. Yelped a store. Drove over and was immediately greeted by Renee and Brian. Nice showroom. I explained what I was looking for and while she was explaining to me that remnants go for .65 to .70 a square foot and the pieces were typically 7.5 or 15' wide, I mentioned the puppy. She immediately let me know they had "puppy pads" that were free! She shouted out to Brian to grab a couple of the pads and next thing I was on my way with a pad to try! Great customer service. Unlike most customers my need was much smaller - needing just a smaller portion of turf to cover my patio. The team stepped into action regardless and quickly showed me their warehouse and an special area for customers like me - remnants perfect for my need.
