We have had our turf for 13 months and there is a small part that has been melted, which is confusing because we were assured, by Luxe Lawns, that it could withstand the Arizona Heat and a large breed dog. The company has claimed that our warranty does not cover this type of damage. When a representative came out to look they said out upstairs window caused the turf to melt and they'd only replace it if we had all of our windows tinted by a specific company. When we asked why this wasn't mentioned originally as something that could happen, the representative looked at us like we should have known, but didn't act apologetic or even attempt to help solve the problem. Like how would we know the window could melt our turf? Shouldn't that be something they'd explain? We feel this company is not worth even 1 Star as they have not been helpful at all. We don't understand how something like this could occur as turf should last 15-20 years. knowing this, we don't think this company uses quality turf if it hasn't lasted more more than 13 months. We have reached out to the owner, Lisa, who stated that it would be a cost to replace that portion of the turf and they would not even consider replacing until we had all of our windows tinted. What? Extremely disappointed in this Company. We don't feel valued and regret using them. I would not recommend this company as their product clearly can't withstand the heat and they don't care to support their customers concerns.
