A word to the older lady with orange hair, wearing a black and white polka dotted top sitting at the greeter post ... maybe work on your customer service skills. Me and my wife went inside today (Monday) around 4pm. My wife asked the woman about checking the quantity of a online product in store. She just stared at my wife, signed visibly and ignored her. Once my wife brought up the online product listing the woman rolled her eyes and pulled her scanner out of her purse?! Not very professional in my opinion, and why not leave your purse in the break area!?! I don't understand the point of paying a person to greet customers when they act as if it's too much trouble to type in a set of characters to a scanner, I wasn't asking her to leave her post or to help with something completely unnecessary. My husband and I utilize Floor & Decor pretty frequently for our home projects! Through kitchens, bathrooms and laundry rooms, they almost always have what we need. They have a ton of great options in a wide price range, including more budget friendly to more luxury tile options. Then of course all the accessories and finishes you would need. I do find their tile to be an awesome value and get other project materials through them, but tend to get other accessories or finishes such as hardware and what not elsewhere. The aisles of the store are wide enough to tote around anything heavy and peruse comfortably. They have everything organized well and it's easy to load up boxes of needed tile. The staff is always super friendly, helpful and available for assistance. They offer pick up too, which is great if you know exactly what you want. Bonus, the recently just started offering a military discount this year, I believe 10%. They have a great selection and it's a great option for tile needs. I've been a tile setter for over 20 years and I'm dumb founded by the employees at the Tucson, AZ location! Today i was taking delivery of 1400 sq ft of floor tile. Before the tile got off the truck I checked dye/lot numbers! 5 different numbers!!! SMH driver called the store and both Daneille and Adam insisted that the lot numbers doesn't have to be the same! They have know training and act like they know everything please be aware and look up " do lot codes effect the tiles" the lot numbers and dye num should all be the same no matter what an untrained sales person tells you! read more

Went to the store in Mesa. The woman who waited on us was very helpful. She gave us a pamphlet with the number to call to have someone come to our house and get measurements. We called when we got home and was told someone would contact us within 48 hours. Well that didn't happen. I called again and 48 hours later still no call. I called again and with the same results. 8 days later and no call. This has to be the worst customer service ever. This store tends to be the go-to place for a wide selection of tiles and flooring. Walked in an hour or so before they closed, and it was a pretty clean store. Just didn't get anyone to ask us if we needed help... Even though we saw at least 6-7 employees standing around. No worries, as we were on our own mission to find some new flooring. Decided to buy a few sample planks, to see what works best in our space. Also wished they had sample planks of the styles on the end caps as there were a few that I wanted to potentially select. I just put in my first ever home owners insurance claim and as anyone that has done it knows it sucks! Mine was for a leak from my washing machine...it somehow disconnected from the wall and ran a full wash without the hose being connected to the washer and the water went all over the floor through the laundry room into the kitchen and into the living room. The living room was the only room NOT tiled. The living room was covered in laminate and bubbled up in the creases. I did not deal with it other than hurried up and put fans on it right away in hopes of drying the area ASAP. Months later when pulling up the dreadful laminate there was the BLACK MOLD!! SO never will I ever use laminate flooring ever! I didn't put it in it was already in my house when I purchased it but, boy after seeing how it does not hold up to water at all I learned a valuable lesson! . floor and décor corp office is horrible to deal with. they mislead in their advertising details with laminate flooring and life time warranty. I bought WEATHERED GINGER WATERPROOF LAMINATE, it's supposed to be graded Dent- and scratch-resistant - premium AC 5 wear rating. I had professionals install the flooring immediately after installation I seen lots of imperfections and this definitely isn't premium AC-5 Beware when you file a claim as they will come up with every excuse to deny any warranty. There inspectors are very dishonest. My advice if you go through an inspection make sure you record the inspection and letting the inspector know you are recording. I did record a when I received the report all dishonest Throughout his report. I also bought a bathroom vanity that is warped and they will not replace only find excuses not to reimburse the issues. Horrible customer service. I must have called a minimum of 10 times in the past few days to inquire on whether they had a vinyl laminate in stock. Each time, followed the correct prompts, only to have it ring 3 times and then disconnect. Went in person twice. I have never made a purchase like I am about to and need help. I finally sought out someone after many went by me but were preoccupied. Finally, a man on a forklift asked me what I needed and he referred me to a vendor to come to my house to give me a quote on flooring for my 1100 sq ft little home. They came a week ago today and said I would get quote next day. Guess what? No quote to date! Not surprising. I was recommended to this store by more than one person but I am totally unimpressed. I was told I could return unused tiles. When I went back to return several tiles, the manager said you could only return full boxes unless you purchased loose tiles. This is ridiculous. When you look at the in-store inventory there are loose tiles stacked behind the displays. The manager said they did tell customers about this issue a few months ago when the policy changed. Now you have to read the fine print on your receipt, even though at check out they tell you it is okay to return unused tiles. read more

I stopped in on Sept 05, 2019. Their store is pretty massive. I'd say along the size of the big warehouse membership clubs. I walked through and was initially impressed. I called my wife to come take a look at things and we spent about 2-1/2 hours in the store. During this time is when I started laying hands on their items and inspecting them in much more detail. Upon further inspection, and without saying anything in further detail I wish to let everyone know to pay very careful attention to what you are buying, the engineering of it, the actual assembly of it. We had the most wonderful experience at the Floor and Decor store in Roswell GA. Employee named Tom Assail (hopefully remember the last name correctly) works in the tile section. This absolutely wonderful young man, approached us, answered all our questions, made useful suggestions, helped with selecting the tile for the floors, the walls, etc. Helped with all the others extras that go with tile installation. He was polite, knowledgeable, went with us from department to department Helping every step of the way.
