Came here in search of toolboxes & totes for my drummer boy's drum hardware. He has a few & needs more to hold remaining pieces in, so we went on a quest to price these items. A lot of selection for sure & competitive prices amongst the many brands. Seeng all the holiday lights & decor items also has me jonesing to decorate for the upcoming holidays. Thank you Lowe's for amazing selection & ideas.

This is the handle of Gary the Grave Digger.

I bought Gary the Grave Digger October 20th 2025. I bought the 3 year protection plan. Manufacturer said it wasn't under warranty because the wind blew it over. So they sent me to Lowe's protection plan. They said they couldn't help me because it isn't protected because the wind blew it over. Don't waste your time with Lowe's! Horrible company!

Owl family by the pool supplies in garden section

I have been into this Lowe's probably 500 times over the last few years...hahaha. I prefer it to other similar stores in the area because the selection is typically better. Sometimes things are out of stock, but I sometimes will luck out and find someone to check the back. Pricing is similar but they sometimes have good deals. Parking lot is large and the spots are a nice size so you have room for loading your items. I don't always have the best time finding someone for assistance. It can be annoying at times, especially if you require a forklift to be able to leave with your large item. There are a few employees I seem to always cross paths with on my weekend visits and they are super pleasant. Pro tip: in the garden section, by the pool supplies, lives an owl family. The female owl has been there for years now but she had babies this past year or two. So cool!

Since this location opened, I have frequented a handful of times with my dad and friends for various home improvement items. The staff walking around and in various departments are always friendly to ask if we need help finding anything. Additionally, I feel like they always have a wide range of products and I've never left empty handed when I've needed something specific. Prices seem competitive, though with the economy everything seems to have increased. Stop in for your next home improvement project or item for your garden as that's what todays visit was for with Yelp Bestie Chelsey H.

Lowe's was busy when I went. It was easy to find parking though. I went to Lowe's to get some quick cement and pvc pipes for my garden. When I went to the garden center, I was perusing what other products they had for sale. I could see the packets of seeds easily and they placed the praying mantis display in the middle aisle to catch people's attention. There were a lot of center displays. The praying mantis product was expensive for being $10. I am excited for them to hatch and that I can put them in my garden. I don't know how long it will take. So far I am keeping them inside. Hopefully they don't get everywhere in my house once they hatch.

Part of crate with metal edges and bumper

I picked up a very heavy crated stand up mixed. The crate was on a wood palate with reinforced metal edges. I reported a severe scratch to the bumper when 2 associates loaded it into the back of my SUV. it was investigated by Lowes insurance and decided that the damage was not done by the store. Reason, the associates said so. Pictures sent clearly showed the angle of the crate and obvious damage came from the metal edges. Too bad Lowe's did not do the right thing and accept the damage liability

We have been going to Whitfill for over 20 years now! What started out as Christmas tree shopping…read morewhen our boys were little has now turned into a yearly tradition that we hope one day they will continue with their own families. Not only do we go to them during the holidays but rely on them throughout the year when we need additional plants and trees for our backyard. We first started using Whitfill back in the early 2000's when they were on 40th street south of Roeser. We literally lived across the street from their nursery and when they moved to their current spot on Southern we followed! We have decades of photos with our boys standing next to the tree they choose for Christmas and the tradition continues now with our Sphynx cats! They used to have a peacock walking around but unfortunately he is no longer there. They are pet friendly and we are comfortable taking our cats there in the stroller. Not only are their prices and tree selections the best in town but their customer service and knowledge of anything tree related is vast! They know what they are doing and don't try to upsell or get you to buy unnecessary items. They are the real deal!

I shouldn't need to walk all the way back up front to ask -- and I've been giving the wrong information before anyhow. Its important to know what kind of plant you're buying for multiple reasons. The other Whitfill location (off Guadalupe and Cooper) doesn't have this issue. Overall I think the plants are pretty healthy but after having an issue with lack of labeling (on both the kind of plant and pricing), having been given the wrong plant info on a plant, and after having asked if they had Pink Fairy Duster and being sent off in a direction to wander and never find it on my own, I'm really over this location.

This business is listed on Too Good To Go, an app that is dedicated to saving food waste by offering discounts on end of day items. I've enjoyed trying a variety of new and old places through this app, and today I was nearby and wanted to try this one. Their surprise bags are $6.99 with no added tax and can include greens, herbs, and whatever else they have at the end of the day. There is a garden and they offer classes and such here. I even saw some soap being sold in my brief look-around. My bag came with a lot of parsley, romaine lettuce, kale, a large grapefruit, and French bread from WF. A good variety and amount for the price! The greens still had their roots attached, which they offer with their seedlings so people can start their own garden. The vertical farming method looks so neat. Was glad I stopped by to support this business and recommend others do so when going to Mesa!
