I was skeptical at first in arriving to the restaurant as the parking situation is not the best. The restaurant is more of a pickup food place than a restaurant as it only has 3 small tables. They have a lot of different food choices to choose from which made it hard to pick a good dinner. I decided on the Glass Noodle Stir Fry special for dinner. It was very good and the wait wasn't awful but the staffing is not very high based on the small kitchen so you will order and wait about 20 minutes for the food. I was missing out. 2 weeks ago I tried the Philly and I've had it 4 times since.nit is so good, perfectly prepared and the banana peppers hive it the perfect boost. This is an Americanized Loving Hut, so if you're looking for those favorites like Spicy ChaCha, Noble Broccoli, and other Asian inspired deliciousness, you'll be disappointed, as was I. Raw Taco Salad - Anything with the word taco in it should be amazing. Point blank. Period. This was underwhelming. The salad part was a spring mixture with iceberg lettuce, carrots, and avocado added. As always, I omitted the cucumbers and tomatoes. The raw - it pains me to say this- "taco" meat fell short of flavor. The spicy cashew nacho cheese attempted to save this dish, but could not overpower the sea of bland beneath it. This was basically crunchy lettuce. Veggie Rice - All that missing flavor from the raw taco salad was injected into this dish. My first visit was during lent and I was eating no gluten, so I ordered this without any protein, making it GF. It was delicious! Flavorful jasmine rice topped with tons of broccoli (my fav!), carrots, and onions, all seasoned and sautéed to perfection. Then there's a Vietnamese sauce they add to seal the deal. Simple, yet remarkable. I returned after lent and tried this with udon noodles and with the protein, which is Gardein Chik'n strips. I preferred it without the protein. The noodles were ok, but it faired best with the rice. I also tried their desserts after lent. The chocolate chip cookie and zucchini bread. Both were very good. I didn't frequent them as much as I would have had they been a traditional Loving Hut. That being said, this is still an awesome place for healthy, vegan, allergen-free, and/or raw meals. They even offer comfort foods like burgers (Beyond Meat and Impossible) and brats. Being that this is Cincinnati, it's pretty awesome that they have a Loving Hut to begin with. I was looking for good vegan food in Cincinnati and this spot did not disappoint. The food was excellent. I got the cheesesteak, Mac and cheese, BBQ wrap, and carrot cake. The cheesesteak and carrot cake were especially great. Loving hut closes at 7pm on Monday-Saturday and is not open on Sunday. There also isn't much in door seating (probably 4 seats available), so it looks like most of the store is carry out. I recommend calling in ahead of time because the food sometimes can be a 20-30 min wait. All together I really liked is restaurant and I know I'll be coming back. read more

I happened to be driving down the street and finally saw this location. I had heard about this spot for awhile and actually turned around so that I could give it a try. Parking was available in the front. It's location is near a residential area so it's easy to go by fast and miss it. The staff was nice and patient with me since I wasn't familiar with the menu. I ended up ordering a burger and philly along with pho and spring roll. I did get two desserts, a chocolate cake and cheesecake. I tried a little of everything. The burger and philly was really good. I normally don't like pho but this was actually good. I will try it again. I went through those spring rolls. They were small so I was able to eat them quickly. The chocolate cake was also amazing. I would try more menu items next time. It was really good, full of flavor and healthy. I'm trying to do more vegetarian options. Will definitely be back. Welp cincinnati don't have too many vegan spots and I regretfully have to RIp the Loving Hut for horrible customer service and mis information on a menu item. I am allergic to egg and dairy so often times my preference is vegan because I can order whatever. Loving hut advertises as using Gardein chickn. I am allergic to egg and dairy. I immediately experienced some sensitivity in my mouth and had to take Benedryl . I waited until customers left because I didn't want to give the impression that I was causing a scene, but I asked about the items in the dish I ordered. I knew it had to be the noodle or the protein. When I began to ask questions very politely, she took offense and pleaded that they are vegan and would never have items containing egg/dairy. I expressed to her that accidents do happen but she ended up telling me the chickn wasn't gardenin. I asked her to tell me the brand she said she can't tell me that. I really wanted to know so that I can google ingredients because I'm willing to bet it was egg white as many vegetarian alternatives contain. I reminded her that you can't just be switching up ingredients and not informing your customer because people have food allergies. I also reminded her that she actually SAID do I want the gardein strips. She said "I'm sorry" but there was no empathy. She literally said I'm busy and walked about. I won't be back! Then when I called they said you can eat in now. The back area is closed and it's basically just a table in front of the window . I will NOT be back just on the strength that she wouldn't share the vegan chickn used. I wonder if she can legally withhold that info and who I should call. Everything was put together and seasoned well. There are many options, as well as "daily specials." The staff is friendly, courteous and answered all of our questions. Service was made to order and ready within 10-15 minutes (there was a line, as well as people in the dining area). I ordered "Grilled Spring Rolls" and a "Reuben" (they used Beyond Meat Sausage). I washed it down with Sparkling Grapefruit and topped it off with a slice of vegan cheesecake with strawberry topping. My husband ordered a Beyond Meat "Philly Cheesesteak" (all vegan) and ordered vegan chocolate chip cookies to go. Everything was delicious! It's a great place that serves and promotes great vegan food. It was a kind of end to our search for good vegan food in Cincinnati area. Food: We went for Korean Glass Noodles, Raw Pizza, and Black Rice Burger. Raw Pizza came with a side of salad and Black Rice Burger came with a side of chips. We tried Glass Noodles for the first time ever and loved it so much (we got one in our next visit to the grocery store and made it at home as well). The Korean Glass Noodles were delicious. Raw Pizza was very innovative and good. You don't feel the slice is too heavy, unlike traditional pizza. The topping of avocado brought a lot of freshness to the slice. The Black Rice Burger was amazing. The patty was delicious and the veggies perfectly in harmony - MUST TRY. Ambiance: It looks like a small place from outside but they have a good seating capacity further inside. Just as you enter, you see a lot of business cards of local businesses. On one side on the walls, they have kept plaques with famous personalities who are vegetarian or vegan. In addition, there are some motivational quotes. On the other side is the order counter and the open kitchen. So you can see how they make what they make. There are a couple of on the go items as well already made like cookies, jams etc. They provide biodegradable utensils for eating which is good and very environment-friendly. There are two rooms inside which has a couple of tables and booths. They also have a rack with a couple of books which you can take to read. Overall, loved the ambiance. The parking situation is a little odd - you pull into a small parking lot in the back, but it is a single lane entry and exit which makes me a bit anxious. You order at the counter. I went with a Vegan A1 Hoagie with a cup of Vegan Macaroni and Cheese, and my husband had a Buffalo Wrap. The food was all really good. The burger was probably one of the best I ever had, and the vegan mac and cheese didn't just taste like plastic like they tend to do. The only complaint on the Buffalo Wrap was all the hot sauce kind of pooled at the bottom, so there was this unexpected pocket of spicy. We ate in the back of the restaurant where there is a decent-sized eat-in area...with loud acoustics. I normally have a rather soft speaking voice, but it felt like every word I said was amplified. I was working the other night and saw a customer eating this delicious-looking chocolate cake. Being the sugar addict I am, I asked her where it was from. She said the Loving Hut! I am not a vegan, but I went the next day to try it out. When I saw all the positive reviews on Yelp, I was even more excited to try it! I got the spring rolls, mac and cheese, and of course the chocolate cake (not the gluten free one). The spring rolls were fabulous, but I also believe you can fry anything and make it taste great. They tasted fresh and were still warm by the time I got home. They also came with a delicious dipping sauce. I was not a big fan of the mac and cheese, mostly because I expected it to taste like Kraft. But if you're vegan or are looking for a more natural version of the bright-orange powdered heaven, I would recommend trying it. As expected, the cake was phenomenal. I wasn't sure how vegan cake could be delicious but Loving Hut nailed it. I would absolutely come back again just for the cake, it was that good. Unfortunately I was inhaling my food so quickly that I forgot to take photos. For all 3 items, my total was only $9! I was shook. For serving all vegan items, this place was extremely affordable. I got carryout so I had limited interaction with staff members, but they all seemed to be friendly and helpful. My order came out quickly and was correct. I am now telling all of my vegetarian and vegan friends about the Loving Hut! It seems to be one of the few vegan friendly spots in Cincinnati, and I love that about them. I got the quarter pounder and holy crap was that AMAZING!!! I was literally licking my fingers couldn't even tell the difference between that and a "real" burger. The cookie was a little dry but still good, and the zucchini bread was so moist and delicious. The employees are super friendly And that's one reason why we keep coming back.Your ordering could take a while if you arrive after 11 AM. There's usually a long line after. So far we have tried the sunny wrap, sauté veggies with rice, salad and Spring roll plate, nachos, pho, Raw pasta, Raw pizza, veggie Panini, kelp salads, chicken drumsticks, dumplings, etc. They are all very delicious.Good selection of vegan desserts. The Loving Hut is on Montgomery Road in Pleasant Ridge right downt he street from Everybody's Records. You can park on the street or park in the back, but if you do park in the back be very careful turning into that narrow ass driveway because you will curb your wheel or maybe even hit your fender. Take your time and turn in as slowly and straight as you can. You've been warned. LOL They have a very extensive menu...I mean good grief - what to get??? I settled on the grilled spring rolls, house salad w/almond ginger dressing, and a glass of tea. I was surprised how small the rolls were, but they were good. The house salad was soooooo goood! However, for the luvva gawd the service was slow. There weren't that many people in line, but it took about 25 minutes for me to get my food and I was dining in. I was thinking "did they forget about me?" Knowing all of this...I'd still go back.
