Just wanted to do a check in with the Element. Just had an evening here with about 50 friends. They have several new food places. One is a fan favorite Red Sesame-was the food truck. Korean bar-b-q. Delicious. I got a Bulgogi Yummy bowl, hubby got a chicken spicy yummy bowl. 100% recommend it. Filling too! And I just have to give London Pub a shout out because when they opened, their fish was so small. Good, but small. Well-it's a huge piece of fish now! And everyone raved how good! This is a fantastic spot with several businesses and choice of food and drink. I highly recommend Mazi Mediterranean. In town and staying at The Summit Hotel, it was a quick walk across the street to have lunch. I noticed a great bar for cocktails, day or evening. In Louisville we have a couple of food spaces, but Element Eatery felt much cleaner and elevated in its decor. I especially liked the long tables with wide benches. We recommended our team come visit this spot for lunch prior to a business meeting. I noticed everyone in the group got their food quickly and enjoyed their meal. read more

The draw was the ability for a single mobile order to contain items from different vendors, but the ridiculous app, after many tedious steps, refused to complete the order. Shut up and take my money! No way after all that trouble were we going to schlep to each restaurant to order all our items. There's not much variety in the dishes or represented cuisines, either. There is so much to like about this space. It is similar to a food court with several styles of cuisine lining the edges of a large dining area. I have tried several of the eateries and they cater to many different tastes and the service, by and large, is quick and courteous. For this visit, I opted for the Mediterranean faire. It was delicious and made fresh. Occasionally, the cleanliness of the tables feels lacking, so be on the lookout. The Parking at this location is squirrely. I have never parked in the same area twice, the signage is nonexistent, and the entire complex has taken "self serve" to the next level. There are no employees clearly visible at any entrance or exit. So, it can be a little anxious arriving and leaving, but the eating part is worth four full stars. read more

The establishment was very clean and decorated very well. We were here around Christmas time and the lights were so pretty. Element Eatery continues to be an excellent food hall, with a wide variety of options and a warm atmosphere. It has been awhile since I visited, and most of the food stalls have completely changed since I last visited. I really enjoyed the fish and chips from The Pub. Aglemesies Ice Cream is also available at a dessert food stall. I love that they have both tables, as well as comfy seating areas available. Choices, choices..... My first visit to Element Eatery was quite some time ago for a YELP! event when the space was first launch. Very cool event with lots of options to choose from. Now, I visited again on my own time and dime. I can't tell for certain all of the changes, but I noticed that there were one or two empty counters where businesses had left and will soon replaced by new offerings. I cannot say for certain though if all that were open during my second visit, were there during my first. In basic terms, it's a food court. But, it's a nice food court. Inside you'll also find a full bar along with around a dozen food counters to select from. During my second visit I stopped at Juntos Mexican Cocina. I ordered three steak street tacos. They were good and simple, just the way I like them. Juntos does have a lot more to offer, but this is exactly what I was looking for and they did not disappoint. Looking at their menu, it seems that their leading offering is called an Armadillo. I may check that sandwich out next time, but it seems highly recommended. Beyond standard fare, they also have Solare Sweets & Treats for a little dessert treat. I didn't hit Solare on this visit, but I believe I did during our first visit. They have something for everyone. Pizza, Burgers, English Pub fare, Mediterranean, and more. Would I go back? It's quite a way from where I live but when in the area, yes, I would go back. My only negative applies to my Juntos experience. I'm not sure if all of the businesses do this, but they had asked for my phone number for the order. I'm not that guy. The 30+ spam calls that I receive on a daily basis has curbed me from unnecessarily giving out my phone number. The young lady working at the counter didn't seem too thrilled by this so she told me to stay close by to hear my order be ready. I literally sat at a table, facing Juntos, only feet away from their counter. Now, since I had asked for my order "to-go", I was watching to see a boxed order hit the counter. Also, there were a few people who ordered ahead of me and some people directly after me. I had seen an eat-in order come up but I dismissed it. When I saw a to-go box come up, I did come and take a look and realized it was not mine but the woman in front of me. Then, I saw the people behind me collect their order. At that time, I walked back up and took another look at the aforementioned "eat-in" order and looked at the ticket. The ticket that had my name and a clear note on it that it was a to-go order. I double checked with the young lady behind the counter to be sure, pointed out that I needed it to-go and she boxed it up for me. Here's where it rubbed me the wrong way. I didn't give my phone number. I could tell she wasn't thrilled with that. I sat at a table right in front of the counter. Juntos was not, what I would consider, slammed with customers. They had a few orders but, as a whole, the whole place was not very busy. I don't expect her 100% focus on one order as my personal server. But, my order was on that counter, right where all of the other orders were placed for pick up, for at least 10 minutes before I caught that it was mine. This was a bit of a disappointment. Possibly an honest mistake but, if I'm working there and I see the same order sitting on the counter, with the customers name clearly written on the ticket, I might give a small shout out to see if that person is there. read more

3.5 stars. This continues to be a beautiful space. I've spent time in many different food halls. This one is particularly thoughtful in design and is comfortable. Water stations, clean, nice bathrooms, ample variety of seating. However, the food options are starting to disappoint. After a few years of being open, they seem to have high turnover of stalls. I'm guessing it's very expensive and difficult for the smaller owners to survive. Almost all of the original vendors seem to be replaced by new niche cuisines. While exciting, the value for the food is just not there. It's simply too expensive, and this is fairly consistent across stalls. It kind of defeats the purpose of fast food or fast casual in a food hall when you can't really sample many different items. It's disappointing, and I hope this concept can improve and survive. This is the place for the couple who can't agree on what to eat! Everything we had was SO good! RJ's Taproom - So much variety. We started with 2 beers that were both good. They have options that I haven't seen elsewhere. MashRoots - The beef empanada was good but their garlic sauce truly put it over the top. My husband considered ordering a second just to use the sauce. The fried plantains are sweet and gooey. Little Easy - It's been a while since I've been to NOLA so maybe I'm not remembering correctly but this is the best gumbo that I've ever had. The small is a good size and filling for $6. I had to talk myself out of ordering a second because of the perfection of spicy, rich, dark reux. Matteo's Mexican - The Birria tacos are good. A little mushy and messy so be prepared. Romaru Ramen - Fried Gyoza was just ok. Not bad but not memorable. The original boba drink didn't taste like anything other than milk. I took one drink and didn't want anymore. A little on the expensive side ($16 for a mid-size bowl), but very good. Service was standard once someone came out to take my order (no one was standing out front at the register, probably because it was slow and they were all in the back cooking. I had to call out to alert someone that I was there to order). Food was tasty so I won't ding them on not having someone out front at the register. All in all, Element's is a beautiful place! I can tell it is a cool hang out spot. I wish there was something like this when I lived in the 'Nati, but now I'll have a place to come back to whenever I visit home. Been here before and brought my wife this time. As you can see all the different pictures that people posted that this place has a lot of different food options for anyone with any likes. It's a neat concept like a mall food court without the shopping plus you have alcohol which is a plus. This trip I tried the Big Easy and had the gumbo and a Po Boy which I cannot remember the name but basically a pot roast sandwich. My wife had the barbacoa nachos which I had a taste which was good. When I am in the area I will try this again especially Rokara the ramen noodle place. Love this spot! Plenty of garage parking, indoor and outdoor seating (seasonal), and so many great restaurants to pick from. Usually these types of food courts have random/obscure restaurants but two of my faves are in here: Tela and MashRoots. There's about 8 food spots, a cafe, gelato shop, and a taproom with cocktails. Most spots have a kids menu. Prices are a little higher than I'd like for some of the portions, and the wait can get up to 20 minutes per spot. There was live music on Friday, not sure what events happen on other days. There's a coat check, plenty of individual, couples, or group seating. Would return! read more

I love that cincinnati has another food hall similar to Oakley Kitchen, but different. Both are pretty comparable in size, other than OK having 2 levels and EE having one, and both have a similar number of restaurant options and variety of cuisines. What I love about EE is the huge open floor plan with tons of natural light, plants, and cool bar with a mocktail menu. I also love that there is a self-serve water bar with both regular and sparkling water on tap. My husband and I both got San Jeanetta's Mac and cheese, and it was excellent! It had tons of creamy sauce and unique flavors like deconstructed salmon croquette Mac and cheese (check their Yelp page for a more detailed review there). The one thing I would recommend to EE is better cohesion with their branding. Their logo looks like an element on the table of elements and it's called Element Eatery, but no mention or explanation of why this is the name and how it ties into the table of elements. It would be cool to see some more decor tied to science to pull the whole thing together. Otherwise I think this is a great place to hang out and I'll be back - especially to sit outside on their huge patio! read more

Most places take your order, along with your phone number, and when your order is ready, they text you. Most menu items are cooked to order, but all of us received our orders in under 10 minutes. T I have been twice now, on the first visit I tried the mac and cheese from the soul food place - it was delicious and the staff were inviting! The second time I tried the BBQ four mile pig was delicious! However a little pricey - sandwich is huge but didn't come with a side yet was $10, the onion rings had 5 in an order with a side of ranch but the rings were very small - at a $4.99 price point I expected more. The mac and cheese was tasty but also pricey for the small portion. My mom had the pizza place - she said for 10$ the portion and taste was great! I will try again when I have more room to spend! A worker walked by with a plate of chicken nachos from the taco places - they looked and smelled phenomenal and he said he eats them everyday so I will probably try that next time ! My discovery the second time I went was the water station. I'm obsessed.....they have cold water, room temp water and sparkling water...for free. I'm obsessed with the free water station. The bathrooms are modern and clean. I escorted my daughter to the bathroom because they are the modern ones where the male and female meet in the same central area of the restroom to wash hands.
