The Element Eatery is a much needed improvement to the local area. There is tons of parking, different food options for any picky or not-picky eater, and plenty of seating indoor and out. It was quite loud, on a non-peak night, so I'll bet it can get pretty loud inside, but I loved the energy. They do game nights, we were there for a song-bingo which was fun for the time we were waiting/eating. There are plenty of water stations located throughout, which was a super nice touch to keep people hydrated. The trash cans are all in those areas, too, so it's very convenient. But, be sure to grab your napkins and silverware from the restaurant counter as they aren't located anywhere else. I can't wait to go back and try more places with a big group! read more

Stopped in for lunch and this place has it all. I have visited venues like this in other cities but never in Cincinnati. I wanted to love this place. I've been to places like it in Columbus and I love the concept. I think it's beautiful and well designed, clean. But the food was just way too expensive. I ate two street tacos and a small chips/guacamole from Matteo's and it was delicious but felt very overpriced for me at $17.73. I had water from the water station which was very nice. The process for picking up food when there's also a line was kind of a train wreck. My boyfriend had a pulled pork macaroni and cheese bowl from Four Mile Pig and it came with a piece of garlic bread and he bought a bottle of Mountain Dew for about $18-19 but his portion size was so small it was disgraceful. He said it tasted "okay." I wanted to eat at Little Easy which is the New Orleans restaurant but they were out of rice. We went around 11:30am-12:30pm on a Sunday (they open at 11am). It was slow, not many people. I liked the layout of the bathroom but my stall was completely out of toilet paper (didn't even have any empty rolls). So I went to the next stall, same thing. And the next stall, same thing. Finally found some toilet paper on the fourth try. Unfortunately, we will not be back. read more

Ever wanna go out for a bite but can't quite decide on a single place to go? Element Eatery can certainly help you out with that, because instead of just one place, there are several with a nice variety to choose from under one roof. Consider it like an upscale mall food court without the screaming kids (or "adults" acting like kids) or annoying elevator music. I came here for the first time with some guys from my work. We all checked out the web site to see what all looked good, and honestly, a LOT looked good. There are lots of culinary options to choose from, something for pretty much everyone. Most of the guys opted for Four Mile Pig (specializing in BBQ, burgers, and Chicago-style Italian beef), another went to Rokaru (all about the ramen), and I decided on Little Easy (Po' Boy and N'awlins goodness). Little Easy had a great lunch special, half a po' boy and a side for $12. I went with the catfish po' boy and a side of creole slaw. Sorry I didn't take a pic of my food, but trust me, the po' boy was HUGE! The catfish was almost too big for the bun and tasted excellent. The slaw was really tasty too. I also managed to steal some of my bosses fries from Four Mile Pig which were really good too. Everything the guys got looked delicious. Definitely made me wanna come by again and bring my lady. This is a great spot for the indecisive eater who changed their mind faster than a hiccup. Albeit, if this place had a sushi spot and maybe an empanada place, I think it'd be even better. This place is fantastic. The best of Laissez-faire group dining. 8 local restaurants, a huge bar with local taps, a gelateria, big TVs playing whatever, a live band (on this night) plus a lot of open places to sit and eat from long benches for big groups down to cozy couches. All in an upscale venue. PS, as I write, the live performer is playing flute to Bon Jovi's Living on a Prayer. Classy. We ate at Mash Roots because I had eaten at their Hamilton location and loved it. My wife and I had Mufongo bowls and sweet plantains and they were phenomenal. The pork and chicken was bountiful in the bowl and the plantain and sweet potato bases were just right. I just ate and am getting hungry writing down the food description : ) A couple of tidbits: - They have people walking around and clearing tables as well so you don't have to fuss with cleanup. - There are 2D codes on the tables so you could sit and order versus standing at the different places and ordering. My only tiny gripe is the parking lot, although plenty big, sits across the 3 lane artery of cars that come into the general medical campus. It wasn't crowded at 6:30 pm when we came but I could imagine some Frogger action during peak hours. This may be my new favorite in the city! I love anywhere that offers variety and this fits the bill. In this new food hall, you're able to partake in everything from southern cuisines to ramen all while enjoying a quick cocktail or mocktail. There are tv's making this a great place to catch a live sporting event. Plenty of seating and open daily, you could easily plan your company holiday outing here. Ee provides an additional food court in the Madisonville area with a modern, more fresh face that easily hosts the medical staff at Medpace. While parking is across the wide lanes that provide passage to and from the Medpace area (unless you've ordered take-out), it begs to offer a more convenient way to the inside. If you already work on the campus this obviously isn't a bother, unless we have inclement weather. Typical layout with kitchens on the perimeter and tables and lounging in the center, there is a variety of offerings for patrons to enjoy. I would like to see a uber-vegetarian kitchen that serves lots of salads or hot vegetable casseroles. It is a little expensive for the portions (especially the side dishes). The night we went the place was inhabited with families of 8-11 year-olds playing board games, and they all seemed to know each other. A few small crowds of adults enjoying drinks were occupying space in the lounging areas as well. We sampled Little Easy this time, ordering a shrimp po boy and gumbo side. Why mess up a po boy with a huge roll of dry, bland bread? Where can a girl get some good french bread for a po boy around this town? All the sauce was on the shrimp. The lettuce and tomato on the bottom made it difficult to marry everything together without the shrimp falling off. So we had to play catch with the shrimp falling off the bulky, dry, bland bread. Invest in french bread! it'll be worth $16 if you do! The gumbo was stocked with lots of meat and it was really good. It was a small, maybe 6 oz bowl for $6. We'll be back to try other establishments in the court for sure. Hopefully, it will change my "just ok" review. :) read more

Amaaaaazing! This is such a fantastic food hall addition to the area. They have a great variety of restaurant options, a full bar, PLENTY of seating, so many TVs, and all the right vibes! We had a fantastic experience and tried 3 different restaurants, different cocktails, and sat right by the big garage doors they had open. Great atmosphere, clean, and spacious. Love it and will be back regularly! Love having this right around the corner and in Madisonville! 200 outside seats, 400 inside seats. Met up with some friends here for lunch on a Sunday. It's a great space. Very large, with high ceilings making it light and airy, with plenty of seating. One of their cocktails was "the broken elevator " which was a riff on an old-fashioned with mead added, it was incredible but i had to stop at two because they were so good. I decided to go with the poboy place (ifkyk) and got the catfish poboy and gumbo. I also spotted Puerto Rican fried chicken and decided to try that as well! So first, the Cajun food. Delicious! The poboy was perfectly made and the catfish was melt in your mouth delicious. I got the lunch special that came with potato salad, chips, or tots and I decided to go with the potato salad. Delicious! Just like my mom would make. The gumbo was the star of the show. I could tell they took time on their roux and it was as flavorful as I got back home! Bravo! The Puerto Rican fried chicken i wasn't a fan of. It was completely dry. I'm not sure if it was a off day, but the chicken was dry and chewy and unpleasant to eat. I didn't know about Element Eatery until I found myself there recently for an event. I was able to sample some of the food from the different merchants and a lot of it was pretty tasty. While there, I couldn't help but get higher end mall food court vibes from this place. You Millennials and Gen Xers know what I'm talking about. The mall food court in the 90s and 00s (and I guess even today though I haven't been to a mall food court in years) had a plethora of food options. The difference is that most malls had the same or similar options of popular chain restaurants; where as Element Eatery is like a collection of Cincinnati favorites to choose from, many of which all have other locations throughout the city. Let's talk about the food. The food options are pretty diverse. There's Asian cuisine from Rokaru Ramen. There's pizza from Ramundo's, BBQ from Four Mile Pig, and burgers/wings from Tēla. You can get latin street food from Taco Oso and MashRoots. For folks looking for more traditional Southern cuisine, you can pop over to Little Easy or San Jeanetta's Table. Need a drink, RJ Taproom is situated in the center of the eatery. Lastly, if you're in search of dessert or coffee, La Grassa Gelato and Urbana Coffee have you covered. Very lovely place! Sounds like it just opened up. It looks like a giant restaurant from the outside, but once you enter there is tons of seating. It's got great open space and high ceilings. Plenty of food variety from different vendors and different c (ramen, tacos, pizza, burgers, mac&cheese, chicken wings, and plenty of vegetarian options too!) There was also a small gelato corner called La Grassa. I only had some food from Mashroots- A pollo sandwich with crispy cheese! And comes with a side of sweet potato fries. Fries were perfect! And the chicken was perfectly spicy. Tried some of my friends Yuca fries which were good, but they were very thick cut. More like small bricks. Very dry too. read more

It has a common seating area with sofas, lounge chairs, and traditional seating - tables, high tops. There are restaurants around the edge of the space and a bar at one end. Service at the stations are all very friendly. I got the plantains taco - you need to have one that is fish or more veggies - not a shellfish. (Some people don't eat meat or shellfish.) This concept is great and I can vouch for the fact that this model is popular throughout the country. This was perhaps the least appealing of all that I've visited. It was eerily quiet even considering the off hour we came (between lunch & dinner).... It gave off a bad vibe, perhaps there is something they can do to make it more welcoming & inviting. Our choices were relatively few given our being vegetarian and perhaps we ordered the wrong things but none were good enough to warrant a return trip. We had: a calypso pizza (not terrible), a Leo bowl (the best thing), and a smoked Gouda dish that really wasn't very good. Finally made it here for lunch this Saturday! Not too busy for the weekend and easy parking behind the building. The inside is spacious and pretty (love all the seating options and spaced out enough to have privacy!) and we ended up trying a few different places. Hubs went for wings from Tela (good meat, dry rub was a bit too light), and the award winning wings at Four mile pig slathered in blueberry bbq (omg yum), seasoned fries (also great, missed the ketchup but used the aforementioned blueberry bbq sauce drippings), and the true star of the show, the brussel sprouts in garlic sauce (so yummy! Must order again). Definitely on the salty side but really good. My tacos (padre shrimp and Barbados) were not bad but blander than I'd like (perhaps my fault for going with flour tortillas) and I wish I got a bit more Guac to my chip.
