    Blue crab empanadas

My friend and I came here on a Thursday evening for dinner and it was such a good experience. First of all, I love the vibe here - very south beach Florida but classy and fun. Whoever was the interior designer for this restaurant - they did an AMAZING job. Onto the food, we ordered an appetizer to share and two entries. The blue crab empanadas were my favorite of everything we ordered - I could literally eat 10 oh these in one sitting haha. The Palomilla steak was really good as well and the apple cinnamon hot sauce that came with the steak was killller. My friend ordered the Creole chicken and she said it was super good - very well cooked and the seasoning was on point . Service was nice, such a great establishment!

Surprised to find a Cuban restaurant in Old Milford, so I had to check it out. Wonderful ambience, from the seating and tableware to the decor. There's live music to set the scene, although it was a too loud for such a small room, very close quarters. There will likely be a wait on a weekend, so put your name in and stroll the main street and explore the shops while you wait. Drinks were good, service was fast and friendly, tasty classic Cuban apps, and the beans and rice meal was so delicious , my friends preferred it over their meat dishes. Would return

Nestled in beautiful, quaint downtown Milford you will hear the lively energy coming from Flamingo Drive before you even enter. They offer live music that perfectly sets the mood for your dining experience. The menu boasts fresh, local ingredients & a twist on Southern Italian food with some cultural influence from Miami. Here's what I had: ℝ * The slow braised wagyu brisket is melt-in-your-mouth tender & my goodness, the flavor. I'm a sucker for plantains & these were perfectly fried. The pickled garnishes & fresh herbs added an extra bite to a flavorful dish, & that mole & tamarind gravy - mhm mhm mmmmhhhmmm! ℙñ ℂ * Moist with bits of fresh fruit inside, this is a dessert-lover's dream. * I had two. I definitely could have had more, but I stopped myself ℂ (not pictured) * I had a bite or several of my husband's meal & as someone who isn't typically hyped about a sandwich, they changed my mind!

We called on a Saturday night at 5:30 looking for a table for four and a baby seat. We figured we didn't have a shot, but they were so kind and found a perfect spot for us to sit with our baby even though we were still driving to the restaurant. We had such a fantastic experience! We ordered a few appetizers, dinners, cocktails, and dessert. Everything we tasted was phenomenal. Especially on a freezing winter night, it was so nice to be transported somewhere warm with piña coladas! On top of that, the service was absolutely phenomenal. I would highly recommend Flamingo Drive, what a fun night out!

This place was exactly what I wanted it to be And More. Cuban cuisine is something we don't see much of in Cincinnati, let alone Milford -- which is why Flamingo Drive is such a nice (and much-needed) addition. If you know anything about the owners, who are brothers, you know they're serious about flavor and even more serious about execution. And trust me, they deliver. The vibe inside is bright, colorful, and full of energy think Miami Vice meets Cincinnati with a sprinkle of Golden Girls nostalgia. (And honestly, who doesn't love the Golden Girls?) The decor alone will put you in a good mood before you even sit down. My personal favorite starter was the Broccoli Cheese Bites -- exactly what they sound like: cheesy, crispy, deep-fried perfection. I could have eaten 14 of them without blinking. For my main course, I ordered the Swordfish Milanese -- perfectly crispy, flavorful with olive oil mayo on the side. My partner had the steak, cooked "chef's choice," and it was spot-on. You can tell the kitchen knows exactly what they're doing. Don't skip the drinks -- grab a mojito (or some rum) and settle in, because you're not going to want to leave. And as for desserts? Let's just say save room. They're a standout all on their own.

Flamingo drive, thank you for being a friend! This places was perfect to break out of the winter doldrums. The theme is 80's miami, Fl. It has wicker chairs, fancy cocktails, and floral prints. The bathrooms are themed on the golden girls and miami vice. When we were there on Friday night they had live jazz music. The vibe is 100% on point! We absolutely loved the place. I had a Caipirinha and frozen pinia colada both were delicious. My gf had the Paloma, which she raved about. For our starter we had the fried maduros. They were to die for; sweet and scrumptious. For dinner i had the cuban sandwich which was good, not great. My GF had the fried jerk chicken which she really liked, esp since she is gluten free and never gets to eat fried chicken anymore. In fact most food at flamingo drive can be made gluten free (sensitivity) so thats great. Even the key lime tart is gluten free! All was good but the pinia colada and the fried maduros really stole the show. Don't miss out on those two. Ambiance was great too. Lots of different seating options. Service was good and good spirited. Glasswear was perfectly designed. The place was super clean. Great place to "get away" and a very fun concept. Great job flamingo drive! Net: Highly recommend this fun and casual restaurant. Service: 5 stars Cleanliness: 5 stars Concept: 5 stats Vibe: 5 stars Food: 4 stars Drinks: 5 stars Overall: 5 stars!

Worth the wait! This place has flavor and vibe. The owners are very experienced in the business - and already had the amazing Governor diner going next door. We've been to Flamingo drive there twice. Both times the food was outstanding and the prices are reasonable! The vibe is perfect... Cuban Latin inspired decor and dishes, and live music completed the experience. This is my new favorite place and I will be coming back. Milford is thriving !!

Amazing little spot with some big time bang for your buck entrees. The accoustics weren't great, which made the place pretty loud. However, the band playing was fun, and the music was great and really added to the vibe. Don't go here for a great, deep conversation. Go here for great food at pretty darn good prices and a loud but fun party vibe. The Cuban sandwich was not only hands down the best Cuban I've personally ever had, it's one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. My wife's Ropa Doblano was a wagyu brisket that absolutely melted in your mouth and was incredibly well priced. We had a couple drinks and dessert, two entrees, and still kept it in budget. We will DEFINITELY be back.

From the moment we…read morearrived, the staff was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, offering great recommendations that did not disappoint. Every dish was unique and packed with flavor. The lobster may be the best in town--buttery, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The short rib mac and cheese was pure comfort food elevated to another level, with rich, melted cheese and a side of homemade tomato sauce that added an unexpected burst of flavor. The real surprise of the night was the potato cake. Whether it's a secret menu item or not, it deserves a permanent spot on the menu. The combination of crispy potato cake, creamy goat cheese, and sweet apple butter was absolutely incredible and unlike anything we've had before. This restaurant continues to impress us with its creativity, quality, and outstanding service. We can't wait for our next visit.

Located in Old Milford, This restaurant looks like a diner, but I love their menu. It's a mix of tapas style, brunch, salads, sandwiches, has a speciality section for lobster with a unique drink menu. I love it! The inside is very welcoming and love the decor. Not too huge but definitely an intimate setting. Since it was a lovely afternoon, we sat outside. We ordered: Drinks: -Paul Ponnelle Pinot noir (France) -Pierre Delize sparkling Blanc de Blanc (France) -Garage Beer Lime Lunch: -Chicken salad club sandwich -Arugula salad-grilled lemon vinaigrette, radish and Parmesan Potato cakes- whipped feta & apple butter We got our meals right away and they were delicious! Love the lemon vinaigrette as my dressing for my salad. The combination of the apple butter and whipped feta went so well with my potato cakes. I tried a bite of my fiancée's sandwich and loved the toasted bread and the chicken salad had great flavor! Our server was Hannah and she was very kind and attentive. What a great experience! I loved spending my time here and would definitely come back!

The food alone is 5 starts: Seasonal pizza, GF Detroit Style crust...every other pizza pales in comparison. I will dream about this pizza, even though I was hungry after. More chicken needs to be added! The chocolate sorbet was exquisite. No notes. Was not offered to add candied almond or hot honey, it didn't need it. Possibly best restaurant dessert. Lower score because I was judged harshly by my server about where I lived, them being uppity and saying, "Eww, I'd never live there." After observation it seems mostly "regulars" dine here, I must have not looked expensive enough, or behaved poorly enough. For the price, I shouldn't be leaving hungry, or ashamed. Taglio, I will forever crave this meal, and forever feel awkward about dining with you.
