I can't say enough about Love Lane Kitchen. We have been here several times for breakfast, lunch and dinner and it never disappoints. Food is top quality and always scrumptious. The salads pictured here were both good to the last bite. We cleaned our plates completely. The ambiance is very cozy and servers are always warm and friendly. We always try to catch a meal at Love Lane Kitchen whenever we are in town- you should too as you won't be disappointed.

Ambiance (5/5): Their indoor section was bustling on the weekend. There are a couple countertop seats as well. There's a covered outdoor section where we sat since they were dog friendly! Service (5/5): The establishment was very busy with every table basically full by 10:30am. However, they were attentive throughout the whole dining experience. The staff were super warm and friendly. Hot drip coffee is self-serve! The specials for the day were written on a chalk board in the outdoor dining area. We opted to try their: Lemon Ricotta Pancake (5/5): So so so good! It was thin and had a forward taste of the lemon which I loved. It tasted great even without maple syrup.' Breakfast Bowl (4/5): I don't think there was anything to write home about but their poached eggs were great! I should have assumed that the bowl was going to consist mostly of potatoes.

Today my boyfriend and I drove through Mattituck and stumbled on Love Lane right off of the Main Street. Since it was lunch time - we were driving around trying to choose a place to eat and decided on Love Lane Kitchen, honestly very randomly. Right when you come in, you will notice that the place is filled with loads of corny but cute signs about love. There are couple of tables, a communal table in the middle and a bar you can sit at. The whole place had a very homely feeling to it. We were seated at the communal table since all the little tables were taken. We were serviced in a reasonable amount of time and were checked on often but not excessively. It is a small small space with lots of workers, so I imagine it wasn't hard to get someone's attention if you needed anything. Workers were pleasant and made small talk. The menu isn't very diverse in items, but definitely reasonably priced. We ended up spending less then $60 (before tip) for two meals and 3 drinks. I ordered the Goat Cheese Panini ($16) and my boyfriend decided to have Sliced Steak Sandwich ($22). My goodness my panini was delicious! It definitely qualifies as one of the best meals I had so far this year. The ingredients and bread chosen complimented each other very well. I definitely enjoyed it and would love to come back for seconds whenever I find myself in the area. As for my boyfriends steak sandwich - he gave it a 8/10. He told me the steak was cooked well and the sandwich tasted average. He is a hard man to please and an 8 is quite a high score from him. Overall I am very happy we decided to eat in this particular restaurant, and would love to be back soon.

Good little diner in Mattituck with quick service on weekends. Decent prices. Wait times can be 15-45 minutes or so. We chose to sit at the bar and were good right away. Ordered a stack of flapjacks, two sunny side up eggs on the side, and a Cuban sandwich with fries. Flapjacks were excellent. Syrup was a little thin so we ended up using a lot. Cuban was very good too. Not too dry or anything. Would get it again. Fries were alright Coffee was as you'd expect - average

    A cozy little place.

This places gets better every year. So many great choices on the specials menu, especially (but not only) for seafood fans. The blackened salmon sandwich is divine. Good price for great food and service always terrific.

Super cute and busy restaurant on the main street of Mattituck! Came here with some family on a Saturday afternoon and were quoted a 20-30 minute wait for a table for 6. Unfortunately, we did have to be seated on the patio because there was no table large enough inside and it was pretty hot outside. I would really love if they could add some fans to the outdoor seating area for next year! I ordered the Pretty Bitter ($7) mocktail which was aptly named. If you are a grapefruit lover, this is the perfect choice for you. I also ordered the Baja Fish Tacos ($18) which were very dry and had the texture of cardboard. While the mango salsa was delicious, there was not enough moisture to save the seared fish. I also got to try the Chicken Avocado Mango Salad ($19) which had a very sweet mango dressing and some pale (possible poached?) chicken breast. I think I would have liked some color or some grill marks on it. My favorite entrée that I tried ended up being the Goat Cheese Panini ($16) which was absolutely phenomenal. It was packed with grilled seasonal vegetables like zucchini and squash with a healthy schmear of goat cheese. This is something I would definitely order again and again. Some comments from around the table included: - "This chicken is really dry" in regards to the Chicken Guacamole and Bacon Panini ($19) - "The steak is a little overcooked but I love the parm fries" in regards to the Steak Frites ($22) Overall, it's a decent place in town for some brunch but I thought the food was solidly average. I will say however that the service is great and they provide a QR code on your bill so you can pay via phone.

LLK has the best steak sandwich on the North Fork. I hope this picture does it justice because the hangar steak is always perfectly marinated and so tender. Hangar steak is usually tough, but this is the opposite. Horseradish mayo and fresh red onions. So good.

I stopped into Love Lane Kitchen recently, I have not been there in a while & wanted to grab a nice healthy breakfast. I had one of the specials which was salmon/avocado toast. It was very good. The service was friendly & and the restaurant was clean & comfy with all the Love Lane charm Mattituck has to offer.

Five starts, especially for service. It was such a nice day out yesterday that my husband and I wanted to take out food to-go rather than eat inside the restaurant. We placed the order (chicken fingers and fries with pickles and a sandwich) and advised we'll be waiting outside. I didn't think they'd actually bring us the food (we figured we'll check in after a bit) but they were kind enough to bring us the food and take our payment outside. Another worker must've realized they forgot the pickles and brought it out to us. They were extremely kind and the food was delicious!

I've wanted to come here for quite some time. Being that it's a 40 minute drive I put it off. I was going to be in the area today so I decided to stop in for breakfast. It was only me, so I opted to sit at the counter and not take a table. I was given menus and advised where the coffee was as it is "serve yourself." I ordered a breakfast bowl which consisted of breakfast potatoes, eggs, cheddar cheese, avocado and pico de gallo. I also had a side of bacon and coffee. The breakfast bowl was just okay. Nothing really to brag about. Breakfast potatoes had decent seasoning. Bacon was cooked nicely. I also had coffee. I was not a fan of "serve yourself" as you have to get up numerous times if you drink your coffee throughout your meal. It also gets crowded at the coffee area so your food gets cold. Eh. Not sure if I'd drive the 40 mins again.

We came here for lunch after getting off the ferry. Service was super friendly! The specials board had excellent choices as did the regular menu. Pastrami and a Cuban was a lovely meal. Also, appreciate the self serve water dispenser! Busy place and for good reason. Definitely worth checking out!

Came here this morning for breakfast with my family. Great service & cute spot. Makes you feel at home. I had the BEC on focaccia, my son had French toast & my husband had the steak & eggs. All really good! I'd go back!

The description of the restaurant, the menus and the reviews online made us to decide to give them a try. We're so glad that we did! We entered through the bar entrance which was lively but not crazy loud. There was a musician setting up in one corner of the bar area. We could hear him during our dinner but it was not at all distracting (and he was quite good). We were greeted by one of the hosts (who I now believe may be one of the owners). We were welcomed and escorted to a table in the dining room right behind the bar area. From what I could determine, there were at least two other dining areas and an outside dining area (for dining during the nicer weather). Our server quickly came to welcome us, ask if we had questions about the menu / specials and to take our drink order. She was attentive, pleasant and was able to quickly and accurately answer questions that we had (we have some dietary restrictions and needed to verify some ingredients. She knew immediately what we could order to dine safely. We started our order with the Chiccharon appetizer. I had anticipated that the item would be traditional crispy Chiccaron. Instead the dish was more of a pork belly in a broth. We actually enjoyed that much more! It was plentiful, cooked to perfection and flavorful. For dinner my wife and our friend ordered the sea bass special. They both thought it was plentiful, perfectly prepared and tasted great. I ordered the pork chop with spicy cherry peppers in a light evoo broth. I told our server that I wasn't eating potatoes or rice and asked for a recommendation for a substitute. She recommended the broccolini which was a perfect alternative. My pork chop was served perfectly (medium, juicy,) and was huge! We passed on dessert but the options looked amazing. We will absolutely be back again SOON. Thank you.

We were told that Watermark was five minutes away, and people liked it. We verified that in Yelp, and sure enough, let's go. This is not the sort of place you'd find by accident - on a minor coastal road and pretty much off by itself. The parking lot was so packed that we had to give up on it and park on the road. We were told that there would be a slight delay for a table, but seeing the enthusiastic crowd, we figured it might be worth it. It was. We got a really great roomy table, and our server was a gem. Looking back over the reviews here, we got their star quarterback in Connor, who sat down at a spare chair and talked to us about what to eat. Within two minutes, we were old friends. I'm a big fan of originality in menus, and they had it to spare. I ended up with the fried chicken sandwich and Donna had the Left Coast sandwich. Ham turkey and swiss on crainberry bread. They were both delicious and too much for one sitting. Connor even offered to wrap my mayo. The vibe was enthusiastic but not horribly loud, the food was unifromly great and the service was superior. After having my mind blown by the Everything Bagel Martini, we moved on to share the charred octopus and Leggy's Thighs. The charred octopus was tender, and paired so well with the citrus fruits on this plate, plus the bite of pistachios?! So well put together. Leggy's thighs (RIP Leggy) were literally the best chicken I'd ever had, fall off the bone tender and topped off with flavorful furikake and hot pickled fresno chilis. Popped in for a quick weekend lunch since they had visibly open tables and we were seated right away. The person who showed us to our table led the way, and then dropped menus and utensils in a booth and kept walking. As soon as we made our way through the small restaurant, the absolute filth of the place was the only thing I could focus on. There were food scraps and garbage littering almost every surface of the floor. Our own table had dirty napkins, crumbs and half spilled sugar packets underneath, and the bench needed a wipe down before I could sit. Condiments on the table were dirty and if you moved them, the table was covered with crumbs underneath so no one is moving the condiments to clean. The bathroom was equally disgusting and unkempt. Despite all signs pointing to that we should've left immediately, we were hungry and had been driving for awhile. The food/drink was nothing like the other locations we've visited. In my 20 years of ordering Mimosas, I have never before been asked if I wanted a single or a double. It's prosecco, not shots. I went for the single because my expectations were low, and was presented with a weird little lowball glass of pineapple juice and a jigger of prosecco. That is completely ridiculous to cut a serving in half and call it a "single". For $12 you can buy an entire decent bottle of prosecco, and probably at least three bottles of whatever cheap they're serving. It feels like a cheat not to get a full serving. I ordered the Bootlegger for my meal which is fried chicken, melted cheese, bacon and Russian dressing on a roll. It arrived on a tiny hamburger bun with no dressing. Our server came once to ask how everything was the moment the plates were set down, and left when I told her I hadn't tried it yet. It then took about 10 minutes to obtain a side of dressing once I noticed my sandwich was dry. It was edible, but definitely not worth ever having again. My husband ordered corned beef hash and eggs, which was a plate filled with boxed potato sprinkled with pieces of corned beef. Eggs were fine. We did not use any of the condiments since it was clear they hadn't been swapped out or cleaned, and really tried to get out of this dirty environment as fast as possible. Servers were all concentrated in the bar area, some on phones clearly not busy...so it makes one wonder why no one thought to sweep the floor or wipe down a table. The state of the dining room was truly disgusting and honestly surprising. Our server barely attended to us so we opted not to bring this complaint to her directly and judging by the demeanor of the other staff, there wasn't a manger on duty. The bigger problem here is that if the public-facing front of house can look that way, I can only imagine how the kitchen is kept. We will never return to this location and sincerely hope it can be brought up to the same standards as the others.

Lattes, fresh juices, lobster quesadillas, and a "morning meltdown" omelette (egg white/turkey/avo/spinach) rounded out our order. The star of the meal was the buttered and toasted SOURDOUGH. I asked our server if it's baked in-house or precured from elsewhere (and where?!), but they didn't know. Nor did they care to find out. I can't find it on their website either.
