Great food, service and beer selection. The staff was very accommodating to our group's needs. Glad we stopped here, will be back.

I don't know why it took us this long to check this place out, but it's great!…read more An event popped up on FB that said they were having some live country music from the formerly local band Audawind, so we decided to go. At around 3:30PM, the place was buzzing. There were lots of people sitting at the food area, and even more at the bar area where the band was. Lots of parking at this place, even though there were a lot of people. Ordered the Double Duck and Leaf Pile Ale, both winners. Got a couple more and tried the Leaf Pile Pie, that was good too. Decided to get food, and was surprised to see a nice selection other than the usual bar fare. They've got a full kitchen, and we got the Grilled Octopus salad, wings, and mac and cheese. The octopus salad was fantastic, don't let the rustic presentation put you off. The band was lovely, and as the night rolled in, they had the floor packed with line dancers and everyone else that just wanted to move with the music. As someone else mentioned in one of their reviews, there were a lot of kids. We'll be back though, but maybe not so early next time.

I think the phrase I am looking for is "take me back". I fell in love with this place…read more location: Spot is on the corner of a small street. East to find with a huge parking lot. Interior: Even bigger location. They have the front in which they have merch available and a bar area. We ordered our food and flight of beer each. You walk to your right into a bigger area and it leads you to another bar with more seating. That area leads to the outdoor seating. Honestly first word that comes to mind is open. Open space and seating. Cute industrial look. The outdoor area was my vibe. Huge open space with plenty of seating and games. Dogs are welcome. Honestly perfect place to just sit back and enjoy with friends. There's a shaded seating area as well as seating in the sun. Food: Due to it being a Tues, there was a special on tacos. We ordered 3 orders of chicken tacos and a Bavarian pretzel. Tacos hit the spot and I'm a sucker for pretzels so I was very content. The flight of beer came with 5. You can pick your own when you order. No complaints on that. Overall very pleasant experience. Not busy but it was a weekday. I had the best time.

This brewpub is inside an old bank in downtown Mystic. If you're in Mystic, you won't miss this…read morebeautiful and grand building. It used to be a bank in the 1800s. I'm a sucker for historic architecture so this is awesome. They brew their beers in house and also offer beers from other places. There also have wine and seltzers for the non beer lovers. I am a fan of sours so I had one of their sour beers (forgot the name) it was okay, it was extra sour, too sour. My husband enjoyed their IPAs. Also, we had some house made potato chips and a hot dog. Those were decent; I just wished they offered a dip for those chips! Hummus or something like that? We sat outside on a balmy June day. They had a few tables and our server was great. It's a nice spot to people watch too. Inside was large and spacious. There was a long line to the restrooms though, popular place. Overall, a cool space for some drinks and snacks; I definitely would go back and try out more food and beers.

Nothing out of this world but good enough to have a few pours before heading over to mystic pizza. Service was prompt and efficient, but not overly friendly. Where we unfortunately went wrong was eating here. Cheap fry oils and sloppy sandos that give bar food a bad reputation. I'm not sure why I expected more, but it fell short on freshness, flavor and creativity especially given today's modern brewpub scene. With a plethora of great restaurants in the area, next time I'd probably have drinks here then head to dinner elsewhere.

It was packed when I came in here, but we were able to grab two seats at the bar. Ambiance wise it's giving old school bar, it's well lit which is nice and there are a few TVs around if you're here to catch a game. It took a while to flag down a bartender but once we did we were well taken care of. Beers were cold and well priced. We ordered wings which were crispy and came with a decent hot sauce, plus some mussels in a beer sauce that were really outstanding. I would definitely come back but maybe on a less busy night where there isn't so much competition for a good bar seat and the bartender's attention.

I've been a manager in foodservice my whole life and have high standards for restaurants. This place nailed it. The salad was filled with many vegetables, dressing was great, salmon was good for me but my friend had a thinner piece which she would have preferred less dry. , Steaks were juicy and flavorful, all in all I believe our group was very satisfied. Dessert was choc cream pie with ice cream and really good too.
