Great food, service and beer selection. The staff was very accommodating to our group's needs. Glad we stopped here, will be back.

I don't know why it took us this long to check this place out, but it's great!…read more An event popped up on FB that said they were having some live country music from the formerly local band Audawind, so we decided to go. At around 3:30PM, the place was buzzing. There were lots of people sitting at the food area, and even more at the bar area where the band was. Lots of parking at this place, even though there were a lot of people. Ordered the Double Duck and Leaf Pile Ale, both winners. Got a couple more and tried the Leaf Pile Pie, that was good too. Decided to get food, and was surprised to see a nice selection other than the usual bar fare. They've got a full kitchen, and we got the Grilled Octopus salad, wings, and mac and cheese. The octopus salad was fantastic, don't let the rustic presentation put you off. The band was lovely, and as the night rolled in, they had the floor packed with line dancers and everyone else that just wanted to move with the music. As someone else mentioned in one of their reviews, there were a lot of kids. We'll be back though, but maybe not so early next time.

Very overpriced, Almost 14 dollars for a glass of sauvignon blanc that was the size of a Dixie cup…read more Not worth the price. The main thing wrong with this place is the security guard. He looks like something out of a horror movie and he looked like he wanted to murder someone making it feel very tense. Not sure why you need a juice head at a place that families come with little kids.

This brewpub is inside an old bank in downtown Mystic. If you're in Mystic, you won't miss this…read morebeautiful and grand building. It used to be a bank in the 1800s. I'm a sucker for historic architecture so this is awesome. They brew their beers in house and also offer beers from other places. There also have wine and seltzers for the non beer lovers. I am a fan of sours so I had one of their sour beers (forgot the name) it was okay, it was extra sour, too sour. My husband enjoyed their IPAs. Also, we had some house made potato chips and a hot dog. Those were decent; I just wished they offered a dip for those chips! Hummus or something like that? We sat outside on a balmy June day. They had a few tables and our server was great. It's a nice spot to people watch too. Inside was large and spacious. There was a long line to the restrooms though, popular place. Overall, a cool space for some drinks and snacks; I definitely would go back and try out more food and beers.

Nothing out of this world but good enough to have a few pours before heading over to mystic pizza. Service was prompt and efficient, but not overly friendly. Where we unfortunately went wrong was eating here. Cheap fry oils and sloppy sandos that give bar food a bad reputation. I'm not sure why I expected more, but it fell short on freshness, flavor and creativity especially given today's modern brewpub scene. With a plethora of great restaurants in the area, next time I'd probably have drinks here then head to dinner elsewhere.

We stopped by on Christmas Eve Eve, and it was such a fun, low-key way to kick off the holiday. The vibe was super chill the second we walked in. A solid neighborhood brewery with good energy. The bartender was genuinely friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference, especially during a busy holiday week. It felt like the kind of place where regulars hang out, but newcomers are just as welcome. They had live music going that night, which added to the cozy, festive feel without being overwhelming. You could still talk, laugh, and actually enjoy your beer, which I appreciate! It felt more like background vibes than a full-on concert, in the best way. I ordered the Lindy Light, and it was exactly what I wanted: crisp, refreshing, and easy to drink lager. Perfect if you're not looking for something super heavy or complicated. The tap list had a nice mix overall, so whether you're into lighter beers or want something with a little more character, there's definitely something for you. They also have NA and cocktail options. The space itself is casual and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but that's part of the charm. It's the kind of place you can pop into for one beer and end up staying longer than planned. Friendly staff, good beer, live music, and an easygoing vibe. I'd absolutely come back, especially around the holidays or anytime I'm in the area looking for a relaxed hang.

We have eaten other items on the menu and have never been disappointed. We have also brought family & friends to eat with us here. The restaurant is always clean as are the bathrooms. They also have a bar counter where you can sit and have food. You can also play quick pick there too if you're so inclined. I have never had any issues with any staff members every one has been nice that we have come into contact with. The wait for food is normal , your not waiting forever for your food to come out. Today I had the Rueban and a blueberry lemon drop martini and can I just say yum If you're looking for a nice clean place to eat in Riverhead try Diggers.

Short ribs were way overdone. The meat was tender yet way too hot, like it had been excessively heated or microwaved. The gravy was a very dark brown, overdone and just way too heavily flavored. My wife's Shepard's pie actually seemed to be using the same overdone gravy. Thick layer of mashed potatoes and the thinnest layer of barely there meat/ground beef and vegetable(corn among them). Came with a slice of soda bread that was butter soaked and way overbrowned on the griddle. We've been going there a steady 4-6 times a year few for the last 20+ years and had our son's 21st birthday there as well. Food there has been on a downward spiral for a while now.
