Came to Andy's last night for dinner with my husband & sons. It also just so happened to be bingo night!! We had such a great time. From the service to food all 5 stars. I really enjoyed my first time at this place. The waiters were very nice and attentive. The food was very good and well prepared. For my appetizer I had the chicken dumplings and they were very tasty. For my entree I had the Fried Kickin Chicken Sandwich with French Fries. It was delicious and well seasoned. The restaurant was fairly quiet for a Saturday afternoon. People started coming in shortly after I got there. I would definitely visit this place again whenever I'm in Greenport. Please, if you are whistling while serving customers, your spittle and germs are being spread onto your customers food The New England Clam Chowder was pasty with one clam piece... please list as potato starch chowder, visable flour balls. Slowest service ever... took over an hour from the time we ordered until food was brought out to the table. Waiter was hustling but apparently there was a one man show happening in the kitchen. And that was on a busy Saturday. Food was extremely overpriced and underwhelming. The ridiculously overcooked Thai linguine was skimpy on seafood and spices and noodles were mushy. Teriyaki chicken cutlet was small, salad wilted and rice overcooked. The bland shrimp burger likely came from the frozen food section of the local grocery store and was served on a plain bun with a few french fries. We are no strangers to dining out and our party collectively agreed this was, hands down, perhaps the worst restaurant meal we have ever eaten. It was painful paying top dollar for such a dismal dining experience. Avoid this extremely overrated and overpriced restaurants at all costs. Greenport has much better places to offer! read more

Nice eatery with sports and divey vibes in the town of Greenport. I went with all specials presented by the server and was not disappointed. It wasn't your average bar food to have chicken dumplings and/or gyro at a bar. The server handled the crowd very well and we were seated by the bartender upon walking in. He also jumped on tables to help the one server that was overloaded by the sudden rush of customers. I had the chicken dumplings with teriyaki and it was great! The teriyaki was on the thicker side but still a great dip for the dumplings. The beef gyro was unexpected. Packed with seasoning and side of fries was the most top notch I've had for the ambiance of a bar in ever. I would recommend in the small town for a quick relaxed comfort eat. read more

We had a really great time here yesterday. No frills bar with a nice outdoor patio in the back. Our waitresses was great and even had treats for the dog! Food and drinks were a solid choice and it wasn't busy at all for a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We started off with the Buffalo cauliflower which was awesome! I was crazing wings in Greenport and this was recommended. They gave us popcorn rather than a starter like chips or something which I am not used to but it was cool. We got the wings and they were pretty good. I asked for an extra side of buffalo sauce because it was a little dry for my liking. The servers were real nice and had a whole conversation because the rest of the restaurant was almost empty. Very good overall and I would go again. read more

Place was understaffed, Food was lousy, undercooked, so therefore, I didn't eat after one bite of the food. Waiter was never to be found, and finally when he was, we told him we never received our app, he never brought our wing order and he said "well you don't need it anyway you ordered enough food." We were looking for a place for lunch recently and with so many choices in this little area and all for some reason with four stars, it was tough. We scanned this place and instantly I was lurched into the calamari appetizer on the menu...It looked SOOO good!!! Turns out, I felt like Ralphie in the Movie the Christmas Story when he met Santa at the Mall and was told he would "...Shoot Your Eye Out Kid"...completely crushed. I sent back the calamari which resembled White Castle clam strips. There was three tablespoons of oil on the bottom, two slices of cherry peppers on the side, and they forgot the mayo. I couldn't figure out what could have been the lemon, and there were a few charred garlic chips (or leftover french fry chips from the last order of fries possible as it had no flavor) but nothing to write home about.....terrible. "Gussied-Up Chicken Sandwich was ok. Still think it was missing the brie cheese, unless they spread it like a schmear of cream cheese on a bagel, but overall when dipped in the vinaigrette that the side salad came with was pretty good. Only reason this place gets 3 stars is the sandwich. That and the fact that although we were alone, it was a great place if we were with the kids so I'd recommend it if you are with kids, just buyer beware. The burgers were inedible ALL our burgers were well -done /dry . When our server asked how things were we told him that they were not cooked right ect . He responded "I'll relay the feedback to the kitchen " never did he ask if he could get us new items or a redo . When the bill arrived, they had the audacity to charge us for all three burgers at $20 a pop. When I say we all had one bite and that was it . I just visited this place today with my boyfriend because we were looking for lunch in Greenport. When we were seated, we were sitting at a high top table and one of waiters brought us a small bag of buttered popcorn along with our two drinks we ordered. We figured out what we wanted to order food wise but the waiter didn't come until maybe 10-15 minutes later. The service was slow in the beginning and it looked like they didn't have enough wait staff in the restaurant. Initially when we first walked in there were a couple of people but then it started to fill up and get busy. When we finished our first round of drinks and the popcorn, our waiter finally showed up. We both ordered sandwiches. I got the Guissed Up Grilled Chicken Sandwich w/ fries. It was a large grilled chicken breast with lettuce, Brie cheese spread, and pickled onions on a toasted baguette. The chicken was tender, juicy and the Brie went so well with it all combined on the sandwich. My boyfriend got their BLT which had a ton of bacon on it, on toasted potato bread. Great location for what could be a great sushi bar like SUGARFISH. Instead, this is a very disappointing restaurant with a promising menu that doesn't live up to its expectations. Octopus was chewy and almost in edible. I would've sent it back if I wasn't starving. Boyfriend's salad with grilled chicken was tasteless and seemed cheesy. Then people who came in 15 min later were served before us (they got burgers). We got the octopus salad and the octopus was super tough. Happened upon this bar while visiting friends in Greenport for the day. The bartender, who I later realized was the owner, Andy, turned a TV to the NFL game I wanted to watch and was quick with a drink and bonus, popcorn. A nice crowd of locals gathered to enjoy the various games that were on. I didn't order food but everything I saw looked delicious and I look forward to lunch another time. i really wanted to like this place but it fell pretty short. honestly, it was pretty overpriced for the quality of food and drinks i received. the specialty drinks were okay, i was not a big fan of a watery Jack & Coke especially for the price i paid. i don't know if i came on a bad/slow day, but it seemed that customer service was an afterthought. now for the food, i have never been so disappointed. i have never in my life had a shrimp po boy that had absolutely NO flavour, honestly shocking. the only thing i could taste was the bread and slight lettuce. the french fries could be compared to frozen fries you get in a bad TV dinner. not all is bad, the atmosphere and location are okay. go to another place if you want food with flavour. read more
