I really enjoyed my first time at this place. The waiters were very nice and attentive. The food was very good and well prepared. For my appetizer I had the chicken dumplings and they were very tasty. For my entree I had the Fried Kickin Chicken Sandwich with French Fries. It was delicious and well seasoned. The restaurant was fairly quiet for a Saturday afternoon. People started coming in shortly after I got there. I would definitely visit this place again whenever I'm in Greenport. It is such a beautiful town.

We had a really great time here yesterday. No frills bar with a nice outdoor patio in the back. Our waitresses was great and even had treats for the dog! Food and drinks were a solid choice and it wasn't busy at all for a beautiful Sunday afternoon. We started off with the Buffalo cauliflower which was awesome! The blue cheese was really fantastic too! I had the kickin chicken sandwich with fries and it was a solid choice. The others at the table ordered fish tacos which were so fresh, the burger and the French dip. Kids enjoyed the food as well! Great choice for a lunch spot in greenport!

I was crazing wings in Greenport and this was recommended. They gave us popcorn rather than a starter like chips or something which I am not used to but it was cool. We got the wings and they were pretty good. I asked for an extra side of buffalo sauce because it was a little dry for my liking. The servers were real nice and had a whole conversation because the rest of the restaurant was almost empty. Very good overall and I would go again.

Clean bar/restaurant atmosphere. Very low key. Typical bar menu. Ordered the the potato skin shots, they were delicious. My husband ordered the chimichanga, he loved it. We will come back. I ordered the Andy's Daly for a drink also great.

We looked at the menu ahead of time and were excited by the pea salad with watermelon radish and the calamari with cherry peppers. Unfortunately the salad came out with regular radish (big difference from watermelon radish). Just tell us ahead of time and we'd change our order - they said after the fact that they are out of the watermelon radish (the toasted corn was also soggy - seemed bagged or made from frozen). The calamari was good but was missing the cherry peppers - instead they had what seemed like jarred banana peppers instead. Again, not what was on the menu. I guess we were just disappointed when we were changed $22 for each appetizer that wasn't what was described on the menu. This kind of stuff is just lazy to me - it's not hard to serve what's described on your menu and if something ran out, tell us - we'd change our order. I think we'll take a pause on Ellen's for now. I hope this is read and these easy small changes are made as we'd love to come back for what's described on the menu. Positive notes - appreciated the ambiance and the service was proficient, no issues with our server.

After having visited and thoroughly enjoyed the Stony Brook location multiple times, this was a…read morehighly disappointing experience. Popped in for a quick weekend lunch since they had visibly open tables and we were seated right away. The person who showed us to our table led the way, and then dropped menus and utensils in a booth and kept walking. As soon as we made our way through the small restaurant, the absolute filth of the place was the only thing I could focus on. There were food scraps and garbage littering almost every surface of the floor. Our own table had dirty napkins, crumbs and half spilled sugar packets underneath, and the bench needed a wipe down before I could sit. Condiments on the table were dirty and if you moved them, the table was covered with crumbs underneath so no one is moving the condiments to clean. The bathroom was equally disgusting and unkempt. Despite all signs pointing to that we should've left immediately, we were hungry and had been driving for awhile. The food/drink was nothing like the other locations we've visited. In my 20 years of ordering Mimosas, I have never before been asked if I wanted a single or a double. It's prosecco, not shots. I went for the single because my expectations were low, and was presented with a weird little lowball glass of pineapple juice and a jigger of prosecco. That is completely ridiculous to cut a serving in half and call it a "single". For $12 you can buy an entire decent bottle of prosecco, and probably at least three bottles of whatever cheap they're serving. It feels like a cheat not to get a full serving. I ordered the Bootlegger for my meal which is fried chicken, melted cheese, bacon and Russian dressing on a roll. It arrived on a tiny hamburger bun with no dressing. Our server came once to ask how everything was the moment the plates were set down, and left when I told her I hadn't tried it yet. It then took about 10 minutes to obtain a side of dressing once I noticed my sandwich was dry. It was edible, but definitely not worth ever having again. My husband ordered corned beef hash and eggs, which was a plate filled with boxed potato sprinkled with pieces of corned beef. Eggs were fine. We did not use any of the condiments since it was clear they hadn't been swapped out or cleaned, and really tried to get out of this dirty environment as fast as possible. Servers were all concentrated in the bar area, some on phones clearly not busy...so it makes one wonder why no one thought to sweep the floor or wipe down a table. The state of the dining room was truly disgusting and honestly surprising. Our server barely attended to us so we opted not to bring this complaint to her directly and judging by the demeanor of the other staff, there wasn't a manger on duty. The bigger problem here is that if the public-facing front of house can look that way, I can only imagine how the kitchen is kept. We will never return to this location and sincerely hope it can be brought up to the same standards as the others.
