We love coming to Margarita Grill whenever we visit West Hampton. The atmosphere is always great, with a really nice shaded area that makes it so comfortable to relax and enjoy your meal. The food choices are excellent, with something for everyone, and everything we've had has been delicious. A special thank you to Kayla, our server, who took amazing care of us and made the experience even better. read more

I recently dined here and had a great experience. The quality of the food seems like it has improved. We ordered the Caesar salad with salmon which was delicious and the buffalo chicken burrito, which was a bit soggy. However, overall it was good. They have great chips and salsa and give it to you right when you sit down. Our waitress was attentive and kept coming back to fill up our drinks. They have indoor and outdoor seating and many parking spots along Main Street. This restaurant is located in the town so there are many other shops to walk to. I recommend coming here if you're in the mood for Mexican/American food. read more

We had delivery which arrived on time and hot. West Hampton in the off season You might expect delays however they hit the mark with delivery time and condition . Thefood was well Prepared and packed for travel though it lacked a level of seasoning that was disappointing. Fajitas chicken and veggies well cooked but lacked authentic seasoning from any region of Mexico. No offense but I would compare it to a plain Jane version of Mexican food. To be fair we eat Mexican often and live 20 miles from the Mexican border . Good food poor seasoning . Pricy for Mexican even more so when it lacks the expected flavor of Mexican. MG can do better spice it up and I may be back! read more

First of all for those expecting fine dining - there are plenty of other options in the area. This is not that kind of place. it offers decent food at a reasonable price for Westhampton. The staff is on the young side and the outdoor tables can be a bit sticky. But as far as outdoor dining in a nice location for a quick bite, it fits the bill. The lobster roll and Chicken Fahita were very good. In the many times we've been there service was fine. It can be a busy place during peak times and there's a reason for that. So temper you expectations. read more

A decent place in the heart of Westhampton Beach. I came here with a group of six and had a pleasant experience. Chips and salsa came out pretty quick and the salsa was quite good. The portions are quite sizable which is good considering it is a bit pricey, but hey, it's the Hamptons. Service was good and the place was clean and sizable. Good experience, would come again. read more

The sat us down very quickly and they took our order. They give you free chips and salsa which is very nice. The salsa and chips were very good I loved the chips some don't like the salsa it is a little tomatoey if you don't like but most will think it's fine. The service was very good and fast. The waiters kept passing by us cause we kept standing in the way, but that's OK. I got the chicken quesadilla. It was an amazing meal it came with sour cream and guacamole which worked really well. I thought the salad was a little bit unnecessary. It was just like arugula, which isn't that exciting for anybody maybe if you're vegan. My friend Gus got the buffalo burrito bowl he described his bowl as "my bowl was I thought it was very tasty. I don't think it was the greatest, but I thought it was a worthy meal. 7. Something...". Apparently my friend loved the chips. They were for free. My friend got the vegan burger. He said it was OK. Sounds like it wasn't anything exciting probably shouldn't get it. My friend described the burrito is long and not tasty. It sounds like this place was kind of OK. Nothing really crazy and of course it's really expensive because one of the Hamptons but hey maybe try it maybe you'll love it. I heard the margaritas are good but I can't drink that anyway go with the chicken quesadilla or the muscles I heard they were good. Also, for appetizers, I heard the calamari and the wings were good. That's all cheers! read more

Ah, Margarita Grille in West Hampton. We finally made it after a quick 40-minute wait for a table, which really helped us build up our appetite for... well, what we were about to experience. Loved starting off with chips and "salsa" that tasted suspiciously like Prego sauce (fun twist on Italian-Mexican fusion, I guess?). The margarita flight was also interesting--like a whisper of tequila with whatever juice they could find, which made it very hydrating, if nothing else. The taco salad came in a tortilla shell that felt like it had been waiting for us for a while, topped with what I'm pretty sure was Kraft cheese and some beans. Cozy, like a dorm room dinner. The shrimp quesadilla? Generously filled with microwaved frozen shrimp and more Kraft cheese--consistent theme, which I respect. The highlight was the red, white, and blue tacos, which I'm sure were meant to be a trio, but only two showed up. I guess the blue one decided to stay home for the holiday. The shrimp in them tasted exactly like the shrimp in the quesadilla, so again, consistency. If you're looking for an overpriced adventure that will make you nostalgic for Taco Bell, this is the place. read more

Margarita Grille - Mexican Near Me - Westhampton Beach, New York

great food, plenty of drink choices and always good service even when it's crazy busy and loud (summer)

Spacious, lively, and right on Main Street, I often stop by Margarita Grille for chips, salsa, and surprisingly tasty salads. The outdoor seating is great for sunny people-watching, and the service is always quick. Their Margaritas are very hit or miss, and priced like they could fuel a jet. But that's okay - this is Mexican-adjacent food and a laid back dining option on Main Street. Go to Mi Pueblito if you're looking for authentic taqueria-style Mexican food. Still, this a fun stop with a few solid menu items (that aren't Mexican food) and beachy vibes that make it worth dropping in. read more

Stopped in for a quick lunch while shopping on Main Street last weekend. It was crazy windy, but we opted to grab a table outside under the tent. This is such a relaxed fun place. It would be even better if they were right on the water. The server was really helpful and told us he was excited about getting an order of the taco special later, so we opted to order it. We split the fish tacos, a side of rice and beans and a Caesar salad. The tacos were a fried flounder special. Two come to an order. If you see these on the menu, do not get anything else. Get these tacos now. You will be so happy you did. If you are hungry, get two orders, sharing optional. The sides were good but completely overshadowed by the tacos. Yum. According to their website, "The Grille is a Westhampton Beach 'must go' experience." I completely agree. Go. And order the tacos. read more

Great food, interesting and fresh cocktails. Fun but chill atmosphere. Organized when it came to waiting- cell phone where you can see your wait time and how many people in front of you. However the service is a little spotty, our waiter accidentally delayed putting in our order so it took a long time while before it came. We had to ask for water a few times. We were compensated for the delay with a free round of drinks which was appreciated. Last year our waiter forgot to put our order in all together but we still wanted to come back. read more

This place gets super busy! It s great spot to bring the whole family because it has something for everyone. The food is American Mexican, it's solid and overall good meal. If you're hungry and looking to get in quickly indoor dinning is your best bet. There will always be a wait to dine outside. I ordered the shrimp tacos and it was filled. The food was hot and fast. My husband ordered the quesadilla with chicken and they did not skimp out on the chicken. The only hiccup I would say was waiting to pay the check, but not her fault the place was mobbed. read more

My husband and I LOVE Margarita Grill. We have brought friends and family to dine with us and they are equally impressed. Understand that American Mexican (i.e. Tex Mex) is one of my favorites. Drinks are wonderfully prepared with fresh ingredients and the cocktail menu is varietal and delicious. I highly recommend the raspberry mojito - muddles with fresh raspberries and mint. All meals we've enjoyed and have been delicious - fajitas, burritos, enchiladas, tamales, and chili relleños, to name a few. Salsa and chips served with drinks are always tasty. Staff is super friendly, accommodating, helpful and hard-working. LOVE the live music nights! Really enhances the fun of a great dining experience. They select excellent bands. We highly recommend this establishment. Enjoy! read more

The food is amazing, fresh and very large portions, the staff is always friendly and helpful! Great food, great margaritas, great service, great atmosphere. Loved everything about this place except one thing.. the surplus of bees. Unfortunately it's unavoidable but they were really everywhere and disturbing. Food wise: tuna was great. Fresh and tasty! The guys we were with thought the portions could be a bit larger but they were fine cleaning up everyone's left overs. I specifically loved the nachos. Really well made and a great starter for the table! read more

Food was really good. Service was not- our server completely forgot to put our order in for a while. The restaurant did make it right with an appropriate discount once they finally made our food. Great place and food everything is very good and is the perfect Lunch/dinner spot never disappointed

Enjoy delicious margaritas while dining inside or out, weather permitting. The service is good and the fajitas are excellent! This establishment is very popular, so you may have to wait, especially during the summer season. read more

On the outside this looks like a cute place but this is not the reality of the inside. The service is extremely slow even on a quiet weekday at 2 pm and the servers look like they stepped out of a sorority from the movie Legally Blonde. The hamburger I ordered was good but not great and the total tab of a Coke, Hamburger - tip and tax of $30. ( higher than Columbus Avenue in Manhattan or Soho) is a travesty. The indoor crowd are Frat type men at the bar and dumb, blonde Kim kardashian wannabes trying to get noticed. Not as nice as the Southampton places! Next, please. read more

First time trying out Margarita Grille. The location is right in Westhampton beautiful town. Seems to be a local favorite with many stores near by. The parking was easy to find. My group and I came in as a walk-in, sitting outside in the shade. The server was great very attentive and friendly. The special summer drinks were fun and my pineapple bomber was delicious. The prices were fair for being near the Hamptons. Once we put in our orders we got some chips and salsa to pick at for free. Our drinks and food came at a reasonable time. The appetizers were very tasty the jalapeños in the calamari's were a hit. The chips that came with the guacamole were a bit too salty. The chicken tostadas were big and great! The carne asada was very delightful, cooked perfect MR with a flavorful side sauce. Overall our experience was great and would recommend anyone to go! Been coming here for a while. Time for a review. No reservations. So if it's busy. You might have to wait. The greeter was super nice. It was a bit busy. He found a table in the shade. Our waitress was prompt and cheerful. Got chips and salsa. Nothing special. Got the disco lemonade. Pretty good. Shared the special burrito and a Cobb salad. Both good. Nothing unique. But certainly good enough. The music was good. Too bad the NJ housewives weren't there fighting. LOL. The prices were fair. One complaint. There was a lot of yellow jackets buzzing around. Felt like they should have figured out how to combat that better. Otherwise a good and pleasant meal read more

My husband and I like to eat dinner here once and awhile with our children. Last night was the last time we will be returning. Even though we were seated quickly, our server was not attentive at all. When he appeared, we gave him our order right away. Then my son watched two very young boys sit at a table top next to us and get chips and their food before us (who came in 7 min. After us) This is the second time we never received chips. Even though we ordered quickly we had to wait a decent time for the food. I got red white and blue tacos but were very bland. The chairs are cheap, the water is tap water served in plastic bottle with plastic cups. The table felt sticky and gross like they swabbed it with the floor mop. The bathroom upstairs smells disgusting and can not even open the door to the stall bc it hits the toilet. I had a hard time helping my kids in there. The one bathroom on the main level is always taken. I had my girls start walking upstairs and a server popped out of the main family one so I rushed them back down to use it. The stairs going up are sketchy AF. They're like creepy basement stairs I thought myself and kids were going to fall down. Our waiter took our order and then was never seen again. Didn't even ask if we needed anything. I had to grab a bus boy to ask for ketchup. I couldn't wait to run out of there. As for our family who lives local with lots of kids, we probably won't be back after this last experience. read more

Pricy and the quality is not there. Do they care? Do they employ real chefs and cooks? Drinks were watery and tasteless, as were the tacos. Servers were nice. But if you're going to charge those prices, the food and drinks should be up to scratch. read more

Foods amazing !! Staff is super nice too! A little pricey for locals but honestly the food is sooo good and authentic it's worth it IMO.

Pretty average spot for Westhampton but one of the few spots always open with seating and no wait so that kinda goes a long way. Prices are high but expected for touristy areas like this. I would go elsewhere and wait if it were me but this place again seems to be a go-to with people because of the no wait in an area where more people are than restaurants. read more

Food was good not what you would expect from such a high profile place with such an amazing indoor/outdoor and 1/2 outdoor seating setup. Margarita Grille - Shrimp and Steak Fajita - Mexican Near Me - Westhampton Beach, New York

Peggy grille, one of my favorite places on earth. Have been coming to this joint for a long time, one of the first places I wanna visit when I step foot in west Hampton. My family has always started off with the nacho grande, a big hit with us. A nice voluptuous plate filled with cheese, jalapeños, sour cream, and much more. A lovely detail this place does not like many others is they provide the table with a pitcher of water, so folks like me who need refills every 4 seconds don't need to wait, and can get it myself. I've order the same thing ever since day one, a cheese quesadilla with a HEAPING side of fries. I've never been disappointed with this meal and it is GREAT leftovers. This place is my first love, will never not recommend to a family. You can never go wrong with margarita grille, so busty. read more

Wow, very disappointed. I used to like this place we were the only ones at the bar or in the whole restaurant for that matter bartender was very inattentive. My husband got his beer but I was never asked if I wanted a drink I had to ask for a drink. The sangria was just terrible. chicken tostada was just inedible. chicken was dry and tasteless. Supposed to have beans on it. There was like, a drop of beans on it very boring meal. The wings were so fatty and not cooked enough, but the calamari was good also, I had an American Express gift card and they wouldn't take it I won't be going back anytime soon. read more

Stopped here for some lunch during a quick stroll through West Hampton. First, they offered us a table inside. It was already around 1pm but the place was completely empty. The moment we walked inside, the stench of cleaning solution hit us so hard that we immediately asked for an outside table instead. The chips they put on the table were clearly stale. We didn't want to bother them and figured it was just a one-off so we ate em anyway. We ordered the wings with chili sauce to share. They were actually quite good. Nothing amazing, but had a good crispiness to them with some solid sweet chili sauce to boot. We then got the carnitas tacos and the shrimp tacos. Like the chips, the hard shell tortillas were also very stale. That's when it hit us why this place only had 3 stars. The pork carnitas were not very good either. Not inedible, but they tasted more like lunch meat than anything fresh and enjoyable. Almost something you would find in a elementary school cafeteria sloppy joe. The saving grace was the shrimp. I ended up just eating them with a fork out of the taco shell. They were actually quite good. Overall, not a great place to eat if you want consistently good food. Not terrible, but I'm a bit disappointed. I thought a place like the Hamptons would have much better quality restaurants than this in the middle of town. read more

I really love the place. The food is excellent. Service is perfect and location is ideal. My only issue is people bringing dogs to the restaurant. Especially when they drool on the table that people eat on. It has to be a violation of health rules. I am very tolerant of animals but believe that people should be courteous and the restaurant needs to pay closer attention. read more

I don't understand the low star rating. I had the best service and it was so quick on top of that! I ordered the Red, White, and Blue tacos and there were goo! My Caipirinha drink was the best ever!! The reason for four stars is because the guy helping the hostess was a little obnoxious. He was overly friendly and seemed like one of "those" guys from a car dealership. I also heard him mock a customer when leaving her table to the hostess. I looked at him when he was saying it. Not cool! read more

Right in the heart of West Hampton, I've always been curious about this place since it always seems to be crowded and happening. I now know why. Although it seemed like it was going to be a long wait it was only about 20min on a Friday night at dinner time. The burrito bowl was great. Nice big portion with a perfect balance of rice, beans, cheese, lettuce, tomato, guac, sour cream & protein. I was very impressed with the shrimp and bowl itself. You're served chips and salsa when you sit down which were also pretty good. Overall, this was a great summer time feel atmosphere with plenty of outdoor seating and some good Mexican food. I recommend giving it a try, & plan on eating here again for sure. read more
