Great place to go for quick service. I love that they are helpful and fast. If you are looking for the "Spa" experience this is not the place for you but but if you are looking for a quick mani/pedi then it is the best! read more

I am so very confused how anyone can give this nail salon a good review. Maybe I had a random terrible experience, but I don't think so. I came here after work for a much needed mani/pedi. I had really been looking forward to it and boy was I disapointed! Pedicure: The technician asked if I wanted my nails cut and I asked him to please cut them short ... they were not short. I had to ask him again to cut them shorter (they were still longer than I like when I left, ugh). Then he used ONLY the really rough side of the file to file my nails. They were all jagged and looked like crap. The polish job was sort of ok, but the whole experience was awful. On to the manicure, where things get worse. Manicure: I should have cut my losses and said nevermind on the manicure.... learned my lesson. I like to keep some of the length on my nails. He asked if I wanted them shaped or cut. I asked him to just even them out. There were a couple that were a little shorter than the others. He seriously BUTCHERED them. He cut them down to nubs . .. seriously, the shortest I have ever had before. Horrible. Then, suprise, suprise he used the really rough side of the file AGAIN. This time i kept asking, could you smooth that out more. He looked at my like I asked for his right arm. So after asking 10 times to get each nail smoothed out (which were still not correct), he started polishing. It was equally as bad as my pedicure. So after the crappy experience I was hoping they would at least last a bit ... wrong again. They were chipping two days later, probably for the best. I took it all off and filed my nails appropriately, ridiculous. This place is horrible and I will never go again. Do not spend your money here! read more

Just got a pedicure and she did the fastest 20 minute crappie job. I will never go back. Also she used the same file and buffer that I'm sure she used on the last 50 people. I'm so grossed out. WTF read more

I have mostly gotten no-chip manicures here, and I have been constistently happy with the results. Unlike a lot of basic nail salons, it really appears that they train their staff, so it's not a total crap shoot if you get a new person if you will have a bad experience. I have had my nails done here solely for the past four months and had three or four different nail techs, all of whom have done a great job, nice nail shape, the no-chip lasts, and even fixing broken nails for free. Very friendly as well. I also make sure to go at 2:00 when they aren't rushed, and that may make a difference. read more

I like this place. They are quick and reasonably priced. Check out the website for additional deals.

I went in for a fill-in for my gel tips on my lunch break and had a wonderful experience. Colby worked on my nails and did a wonderful job and I was back to work with time to spare. read more

I work close to this nail salon so I've been two dozen times at least. After my last manicure though, I won't be going back. The girl who did my nails completely butchered my cuticles, two fingers bleeding and the file job she did on my nails was just awful. I asked for round but what she gave me was not round. I had to ask her to redo them. Honestly for $15, I expected more.... what a shame. I have gone here before and NEVER had any problems, the staff are super, but this one girl whom I've never seen before was not up to the salons stardards in my opinion. read more

NEVER GET THE MALE TECHNICIAN!!!! Let me start out by saying that I have been going to Loop Nail for 6-7 years now!! I have had wonderful experiences with all the girls there. However, I had the worst experience of my life this morning with one of the male technicians. He was extremely disrespectful and asked me to leave. And all for what.....just politely (saying please) asking him to not cut my cuticles!!! It didnt stop there, he kept bossing me around and ordering where to keep my fingers and why I should just go somewhere else. I really hope the owner reads this and keeps this guy in check. I havent felt this disrespected ever! Not sure if he just was discriminating based on my skin color/race....but wont rule that out given his behavior was so rude!!! If you go to Loop nail, NEVER GET THE MALE TECHNICIAN!!!! Just read a similar review by another client....and now I feel he was definitely discriminating!!! read more

I love this place! Anne does my eyebrows and she does such a good job. She takes her time unlike most nail salons usually do.

For my first time at Loop Nail Spa I had a really good experience. The spa was clean and the staff was very courteous and pleasant to speak to....even under busy conditions. I was very impressed with how prompt and expedient the service was even though the place was packed. I got a wax, fill-in and pedicure and was out in an hour. Vanessa who did my nails was amazing...the best my nails have looked in a long time. I will definitely be returning. read more

I would've written this review about 45 minutes ago but I've been busy trying to peel the no chip nail polish off my finger tips without ruining my nails... I was impressed with the nail tech's job on my nails prior to putting the polish on. However, as she was putting on the no chip polish I noticed some fuzz on the finger she was about to polish. I pointed it out but she just kept going. Great. Then as I walked out of the salon I noticed there was no chip polish all over the tips of my fingers and cuticles. Not sure I'd be back as they are on the pricier side for no chips and they were super crazy busy during the lunch hour. On top of that, my friend was there to get a mani, pedi and eye brow wax and she was done with all three of those before I was done with just my no chip so this is definitely not the place to go if you're in a hurry. read more

Unsanitary. They pulled a cheap 50 cent file out of toaster oven and it was used with brown gunk on it, no. Yea, $16 for manicure isn't expensive, but if your breaking the bank over a 50 cent file, can I at least get the option to pay for a new one. My friend had a back and forth eye rolling match at each other. It was weird, convenient for in and out when literally every other salon is booked, but this place was dirty, chunks of thick dust everywhere. Whoever gave this place 5 stars is just cheap, this place is gross. read more

Went in after work last week to this cute spot for a mani pedi. If you're looking for quick and convenient then, yes, this place works. However, I was not in any hurry and was hoping for a relaxing time in the massage chair. Unfortunately for me my manicurist was so rushed and frantic it really stressed me out. I even asked him to slow down because I felt like the place was on fire or something. Low and behold he left the facility moments after the last nail was painted. It looked like he was just trying to finish and go home. On top of it all two other manicurists were yelling across the room to each other in a personal conversation. Really?! Aren't you at least supposed to try and give your customers a serene environment? Alas, I give them two stars for the decent job but frankly, a decent manicure isn't hard to find. Minus three stars for the poor customer service. read more

Like this place but wish they would speak English to each other. They should know this makes your customers uncomfortable when most of the time spent there they are speaking in their native tongue and laughing. Not a good business practice. read more

Much better service and quality than when it was Robert Valentino's years ago. There are plenty of nail stations, and I've never had to wait, but I usually go in before 4 PM on the weekdays. The staff is polite and welcoming. Pedicures are 25 minutes and $27. The only thing I don't like is that they don't help you with anything when you're done drying- not with your coat, shoes, purse, or even checking whether your nails are dry or spraying that drying coat on. They don't even say bye to you because they're already with another customer. You're basically dead to them after you pay. read more

Had a wonderful experience. Made an appointment online. When i arrived at noon it was packed, but they had plenty of employees and space to accommodate the walk-in customers. J-Lo assisted me and she was very nice the entire time and was helpful in providing a response to any questions I had. She did my no chip manicure and waxed my eyebrows. She excelled in both and I will definitely be back every 2 weeks. I took 1 star away because it was cold inside so I wore my coat the entire time, but it is 0 degrees outside. read more

FINALLY found a fantastic nail salon in the Loop! Vibe & energy was very upbeat & positive. Vanessa was amazing & kept receiving calls from regulars booking appointments! I was her 10am appointment, & by the time my pedi was finished she was booked solid through 3pm on a Monday! Received a long fantastic leg & foot massage. I plan on coming back regularly!!! read more

This was my fourth time here. I cannot in all honesty give them a higher rating based on the law of averages. Mimi did my nails today and she was downright rude and unconcerned. She had no interest in helping me to pick out a color or make sure that I felt pampered. At the end of my manicure, I was regretting wasting my lunch hour on going there. read more

This salon is a great spot for nice, quick treatment. I've gotten manicures, pedicures, and an eyebrow wax done, and I'm always in and out the door, satisfied with the job done. The employees are friendly, but it's not a super talkative environment, which is preferable if you're like me and don't always prefer small talk. They don't do any nail art and looked at me like I was insane when I asked, but this is my go-to spot for a great, fast spa pedicure. read more

Typically i have been happy with the speed of service and quality. But will never come back on a weekend. Made an appointment and then came to the spa and had to wait half an hour to get any sort of service. read more

Went in last week for a quick mani and brow wax. I was in and out in 25 minutes. If you want a lot of attention or pampering, probably not the best choice for you. But if you just want a quick lunch hour mani, I would check this place out. read more

I was nervous about trying a new nail salon because I don't like the irritating feeling of being disappointed... but I was pleasantly surprised! I like my nail sculptured on instead of a nail tip & Coby did a good job =)) They look so natural which is what the sculpture tip gives you(for my very short nails, it gives you a longer nail bed!)... Im very happy with my nails & will see Coby again =)) read more

A few of my colleagues and I went over here to get manicures on our lunch break. We were pleasantly surprised with the variety of nail colors and friendly faces. We all loved our manicures and were back at our desks well within the hour. We will definitely return! read more

I've gotten 2 no chip manis and 1 pedi on a few different occasions. I've been consistently happy with both and will likely return again. It is super convenient to my job - quick and efficient! read more

Sheduled an appointment for 3:30 PM and showed up early and they were able to take me right away which was really nice. The guy that did my nails took his time but they still look terrible.... Usually after getting the acrylic nail put on they have you wash your hands before they put on the color, right? He didn't. Also didn't bother cleaning up the acrylic from my skin and it's stuck there and looks terrible. Doesn't look like I just left the salon at all. Won't be back. Maybe the girls do a better job but beware of the guys............ read more

Loop Nail Spa - Picture looks better than in person but weird crusty white all along my "new" nails.... so terrible - Nail Salons Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

I am a regular at this salon. It's a bit pricey but, given that it's in the middle of the loop, it makes sense. I typically go during my lunch so they move quickly. Of course, if you go during typical lunch hours, they can get pretty busy. Also, I have my favorite nail specialists and there's one that I do not care for their work. Overall, I love going to the salon. read more

Made an appointment for wax and polish changes braces on the hotels recommendation ( staying at the w) . For getting in and out quickly on a busy Friday and a great job with my nails I would have given 5 stars . However avoid this place for waxing - I have had many waxes and never has part of my skin taken off - here I am with a wedding tomorrow and I am doing to need major help to fix the tear - I realize I should have had the wax done 2 days before the wedding not just 24 hours but do to travel I had no choice - also the place needs 0 stars for hygiene- they dip the wax sticks in repeatedly instead of using a fresh stick for each dip. Bottom line great for polish change with a French - skip the wax read more

The only reason this is getting 2 stars and not 1 is because of its proximity to my office. Otherwise, I just went in the other day for a quick polish change. I picked my color and the lady painted them and at the end after she was done told me that I had chose an "ugly color" and that it made "my nails look dirty". Blew me away how rude she was and the fact that a) I never asked for her opinions and b) if she was going to say anything about the color, she should've said it before painting all my nails. Bottom line, not worth it. read more

This was my first visit to this salon. I called ahead and made a 12:30pm appointment and when I got there the place was packed. Guess everyone decided to go on their lunch break. I only had to wait 5 minutes before they started on my mani. I originally wanted and requested the loop spa mani, but received the regular mani. Not sure if the extra 5 minutes was a huge factor or not. The gentleman asked the preferred shape of my nails then went to work. The next time he spoke was upon completion to ask if I liked it. The manicure is okay, not the best I've had. I get it, its busy, but I felt so rushed. I did have to walk back because they did not give me back my polish I brought. I called and they had it waiting for me. I would go back, the location is very convenient for a quick polish change. read more

Waste of money. They are one of those shops that do volume, not quality. So speedy they are sloppy, practically shoving you out the door, but not before they try to upsell you while you're sitting there. Conditions look clean but are horribly cramped. You have to climb over people to dry your nails. They won't get another $ from me. read more

I have been to a few loop nail salons and this one is pretty much the best one. I'm the type of girl running over during lunch time or after work before a date. The service is pretty good, the fastness of getting you out the door and the quality of the work. I will continue to go to this salon. read more

HOOOOOORRRRRRRRIBLEEEE eye brow waxing. I cant say every person is horrible but the lady i got was really bad. I went today and she wax half my eye brow off then the other was longer.. i was so disappointed because it was my first time ever going. read more

I got a no-chip manicure that was very disappointing. While I feel the nail technician spent a considerable amount of time on my nails, the end result was disappointing. The salon is very loud, crowded and is not even remotely relaxing. The tech didn't completely soak off my existing no-chip and as a result she removed several layers of my nail resulting in my nails being solft and painful. Also, after two days the color is warped (old polish) and showing visible signs of cracking. The cost was also $10 higher than most. Please do not patronize this salon. read more

PROS: This place is really convenient and the staff are very nice. They are really fast during the lunch hour, so that you can get in and out and not be away from work too long. CONS: I had 2 nails chip only 3 days after getting a no chip manicure here. I went in and they did fix them right away for free, but then less than a week later all of my nails chipped. So- the no chip manicure barely lasted a whole week. The no chips are $40, which is $5 more than most other places in the city, and don't last nearly as well or long as other places. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. read more

I've been going to Loop Nail Spa for a little over a year now and I walk across town and pass many other shops to go to this one. The people there are great and very friendly. The quality of service is what keeps me going back! I get "pink and white" nails and they are perfect every time. They are fast but also pay attention to detail. They also sanitize all instruments which is very important to me! I walk out very happy with a perfect set of nails for the next two weeks! The prices are VERY competitive also. Try it, you'll like it! read more

I LOVE this place! I am here every 2 weeks to get my nails and toes done. It is right across the street from my work and they do a fantastic job. Everything is nice and clean! Vanessa is AMAZING! She is by far the best and takes such good care of her clients. Thanks Loop Nail Spa! read more

I went here with a couple of friends and we booked an appointment so we could all get pedicures at the same time. They have a great selection of nail colors and the massage chairs you sit in are lovely! My pedicure looks great and so did my friends'. It's nicely decorated and the guy at the front was really nice. My reason for the three stars: We booked this pedicure in advance so that we could have our pedis at the same time. However, once we got seated (and we were on time) it took them 20 minutes to get to any of us. While I enjoyed sitting in the chair, I would have appreciated them getting us started a bit sooner especially since it wasn't packed or anything. And then, the technicians only came one at a time so since I was first i was done way before my other two friends and then my second friend was done way before the third. If you say on the phone that you can do three at one time, I expect that to happen when I get there. read more
