It seems like they do not have a walk in culture, which means it's less crowded. In terms of services, they actually soak off the gel/no chip polish with acetone, rather than grinding it off! This is the major reason why I like them because practically every other nail salon grinds it off and then my nails get too thin. They also take their time and make sure that the gel is properly cured, so I've never had a problem with the gel peeling off too early. They don't have the widest selection of colors, but they do such a nice job it doesn't even matter to me. The only thing that I wish was different is that I wish they did NOT have the TVs on with the sound on, but I didn't ask for them to turn it off, so that's on me. Also earbuds exist for a reason. Make an appointment you won't be disappointed.

I also especially appreciated the meticulous care they took to remove my old set AND to prep my cuticles in a way that was neat and not drilling too hard in the nail bed which was something that happened to me a few times in chinatown (salons to not be name). I've have the set for about four weeks now and they're still intact. My only comment is over the fact that i didn't schedule it for a hard gel set but then that's what i got and it was kind of too late to go back once that gel was applied so I paid for the extra cost. As soon as I walked in, the lady at the front had an attitude. I asked if there was a wait and she responded, "No wait, do you want to get your nails done or not?" I asked for builder gel, and after trimming down my nails, the first nail tech suddenly moved me to another worker and said, "I don't do fill-ins." The guy then started applying acrylic even though I specifically asked for builder gel. When I questioned it, they kept insisting it was builder gel until he finally admitted it was acrylic. Only then did they tell me they don't offer what I wanted because the person who does builder gel is on vacation. Lady said "go back to the other salon you went to originally" The whole situation could've been communicated from the start before cutting down my nails. I stayed respectful the entire time and left with unevenly trimmed nails and very disappointed.

I'm usually stressed while getting my nails done but this was relaxing! The shoulder massage was a great perk and they even gave me a little lotion as a Christmas gift. I desperately needed a pedicure and noticed they have a special Monday - Wednesday (just wanted to note). The reviews seemed good enough and I was pleasantly surprised! The salon was packed and one person was waiting before me. Always a great sign imo. I walked in and waited less than 15 minutes. Didnt catch the name of the lady who did my pedicure but she was awesome! I chose the regular producer for $39 and she was very thorough. She scrubbed the callous and took her time. I didn't feel rushed at all and I also didn't feel like I was sitting too long. They also give a quick shoulder massage while you dry your nails which is a nice touch. Out the door, everything cost $46 which isn't bad for the city. I have to note how lovely she painted my nails too. She didn't overpaint - I've noticed some places have been doing three coats of color - yikes. They had about six pedicure chairs and maybe eight for manicures? I didn't get a manicure but one thing I noticed and love is that they keep the services separate. It makes it feel so much nicer. There's also a few spots to park in a private lot - super convenient. I'll definitely be giving them another shot.

She was detailed and took her time and my nails looked absolutely perfect. The pricing is very reasonable for an e-file manicure. A couple weeks later I was bit by a dog, causing a nasty chip through the hard gel. I went in for a repair and was done in just a few minutes. They even rebuilt the nail to match the length of the rest of the set, so it looks as though the break never happened and all of my nails still match perfectly. Mon Cheri is a cozy studio with manicure stations on one side and pedicure stations on the other. Popular/top 40's tunes are playing in the background at a comfortable volume, and the staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Be sure to try the complimentary french chocolate and coffee!
