My BFF (my Wife) and I had a hankering for one of our go-to meals: chicken wings and a side salad. We usually bounce between here and Outback for this, but decided on LongHorn tonight. I tried to order ahead on the app, but for the life of me, I couldn't find the side salad. I don't know if it was the app or my eyes, but I ended up having to double-park and literally run inside to place the order. The line of people waiting to get seated was ridiculous, it was completely packed. The hostess told me it would be about 25 minutes. Knowing how busy it was, I came back in 30, and it took another 10 minutes to be ready. Honestly, with that crowd, it was completely fine and understandable. We got it home and everything was good. It's consistent, nothing to necessarily write home about, but exactly what we wanted. The wings are definitely better fresh in the restaurant; the plastic to-go containers make them lose that crispy hit, but popping them in for a couple of minutes at home brings the texture right back. You do get maybe two fewer wingettes here than their competitor chain, and I might slightly prefer the competitor's base wing flavor, but LongHorn has this buffalo sauce that hits. I was able to pour it all over my wings and still had some for dipping, which was a huge plus. The side salad was decent, and I absolutely love their white balsamic vinaigrette and the honey mustard, I just bounce between the two depending on my mood. Overall, a quality, consistent experience. When we walked in there were two people at the hostess booth looking at something. I was not acknowledged, no hello I'll be with you in a sec nothing. When we were seated, no one came to the table for a long while, I usually go to the Largo or Bowie locations but I was in the area and decided to try this location out. Which turned out to be a big mistake. Ultimately, we waitied too long for no one to come to the table and take our order when we were seated. Another server from across the restaurant came to take our drinks and apps orders. When our waitress finally came to take our orders and I say finally because it took way too long. We only interacted with her once and she never came back to our table. She was attending to a bigger party going back and forth however if she could not handle having more tables we should not have been seated in her section. Other parties that were seated well after us had already gotten their apps and then food order while we were still waiting for our appetizers due to the painfully slow service on a Thursday evening. All and all this service was terrible from beginning to end, zero highlight. I absolutely love Longhorn and this is not what I'm used to. I will never go to this location again. This location needs to step their game all the way you. Last thing please clean your menus, they are dirty and need to be wiped down from corner to corner. read more

I truly don't know the last time I was here probably over 10 years ago but they did not disappoint when bringing the lamb chops back. You can literally get anything Parmesan crusted it's truly not necessary for me so I don't get it. The food is great without. The lamb could have been a hair more seasoned but it was good. It came with 2 sides that you can sub out if you want. Sides were great I love mashed potatoes And spinach it was a win for me. My spouse got a baked potato and broccoli and it was delicious as well. The spinach dip ?? That alone will have me come back but mainly because the pita bread was soooo good I mean delicious and I'm truly obsessed ! The bread is even good clearly I like carbs lol. My wife and son wanted me to be clear that they feel like it's closer to a 4.5. They loved their steaks. My wife likes her steak well done, but it usually comes back undercooked for her. This steak was perfect. My son also loved his steak. I got the strawberry and pecan salad. It was very good. The sweet potato was excellent. I haven't been to Long Horn in about 5 years but I had a gift card to use so my cousin and I came here this Friday evening. It was quite busy but we were able to be seated at a booth by the bar within 10 mins. We both ordered the 2 sangria flavors and they were huge! I had the berry while my cousin had the peach. They are pre-made so we didn't taste much alcohol in them. My meal was a 10 out 10! I ordered the Redrock grilled shrimp meal (12 count) and it comes with rice but you can pick 2 other sides. I opted for a sweet potato and broccoli with melted butter. The shrimp are very flavorful in its own tomato butter sauce which blended well with the rice. The sweet potato with butter and brown sugar was warm and delicious. I used the melted butter over my broccoli. My cousin ordered the salmon with a side salad, asparagus and baked potato but after she saw my meal come out, she wasn't as aesthetically pleased with hers lol. I think if she kept the rice that came with it, the plate would have looked more full because the salmon was small. We both ate our entire meal so no room for dessert. Arrived at Longhorn in Laurel, MD on an early Saturday evening. We were not greeted at all by the male host, instead met with a blank stare. I ordered an espresso martini, they did not have the ingredients to make it, changed it to an old fashioned (sent back - too strong). We ordered the mushrooms stuffed with cheese for an appetizer - seasoned very well, plenty of cheese, very good! I had the NY strip steak well done, asked for brussel sprouts (they didn't have), with caesar salad (not much dressing & didn't taste like it was caesar), loaded baked potato (very little loaded anything inside & it was luke warm). The NY strip was very good, especially the end pieces, seasoned well, cooked the way I asked - med well. The ends tasted like they were cooked on the grill. The hustled staffer brought out our order 15 minutes after we were told our order was ready thus it sat cooked/warm for an additional quarter hour (not his fault or not enough kitchen staff?). Filet Mignon is not supposed to have gristle but this cut did have a tough layer of connective tissue and was trimmed poorly. It was not at all tender or melt-in-your-mouth as filet mignons are supposed to be and could not be cut easily with a knife. I came here with my family and it was a good experience. The service was a little slow as they were just opening when we came and were not fully staffed yet. Our waiter did the best she could under the circumstance. My family members all ordered the rib eye, cooked medium, and 2 sides. They were satisfied with the steak as it was seasoned light and cooked to their desired temperature. I ordered the 6 oz Flo's filet and it was very juicy and tender. We went twice in the past 4 months. I was served the ribeye I ordered. However, my wife got served a creatively cut strip steak. When the manager was told, we were informed to speak to her and she would make sure to pickbthe steak herself. Either this is a normal thing, serving steip steak and charging for rib eye, or the restaurant is aware that the supplier is sending strips instead of ribeyes, and allowing customers to be swindled. I then call and put on an extended hold time with literally still no answer as I type this and I'm literally in parking lot by the chick fil A. So what's exactly is the purpose of the front person is they can't assist with taking orders. It can't be that complex for them to input a to go order. You guys need to reconsider your inside waiting areas as well as the line for the to go orders because it's too crowded in there for the setup you have. I have been here a few times and have had pretty good experiences here. This location is in a plaza, so parking is pretty plentiful and you usually can get a spot close to the entrance, if that is important to you. On my most recent visits here, we were greeted immediately and had little to no wait. The service was pretty good and appreciate the servers timing the appetizers and entrees so there's enough time in between but not too little time. I'm not a meat eater so I can't speak to the steak (I know, I know) but i really enjoyed the onion petals (can't remember the name but basically a deconstructed blooming onion). Admittedly, I think I first saw these on tik tok (don't judge). I've also had their Parmesan crusted chicken and salmon and both are pretty good though a little salty. The rice, brussels, and baked potato are all also pretty good. My only issue is it can get a little dark in here but that's not a huge issue for me. Me and my fiancé walked into the restaurant with my service dog that is in a stroller. The male host walked us over to a booth. I put the stroller on the side because I need him to be close to me. The guy looks into the stroller and says is there any way this can be smaller in an annoyed voice. Instantly I get turned off because it was clear we needed more room for the stroller. I tell him no and asked if we can go to a table. So we go to a table and I try to have a better experience. Five minutes later that same male host crashed into my dog's stroller. The stroller ends up shaking and my dog looks at me for reassurance. My stomach turned when he did that because he didn't even apologize. Just acted like it doesn't even phase him. The food came out shortly after that and I only took two bites. Told my fiancé that I couldn't eat it anymore because I was angry and wanted to go to the car. He agrees and is pissed off too but had to wait for the waiter for the check. As I'm going out of the restaurant with my dog in the stroller, the same male host looked at me and said have a good one in a passive aggressive tone. That was strike three and I told him in a loud voice to never crash into any dog but especially a service dog. The hostess area looked shocked and said nothing. The guy looked taken back like he didn't expect me to say anything. I do not tolerate any type of bad behavior towards any dog but especially my dog who is a service animal. We were on vacation and was excited to try a different longhorn. This whole situation immediately ruined the night. I couldn't even eat the food that we brought back to the hotel. Shame on you male host. If you can do that to a service dog then that tells me all I need to know about you. Our actual waiter was great. Nothing wrong with her. Longhorn upper management needs visit their restaurant to ensure managers are providing quality food and services I ordered Wild West Shrimps and they were really greasy with the skin sliding off my shrimps I was so disappointed. I reported the greasy shrimps to the waitress and she bought another order but by then I had it with the greasy shrimps. Then I ordered the medium well-done lamb chops one I bite into them it was really red inside but we told that was medium well and they was medium rare. I paid 75.00 and I wasn't satisfied. Once I left I started feeling indigestion from the food. Then I called to report the horrible food to the Longhorn headquarters I was told the manager will call me. I never received a phone when I can back I was told she tried call me twice, and I didn't have any messages calls. I went to this establishment on July 5, 24, everything was fine with the service. When it came time to pay, I gave the waiter Samuel Kay a $10.00 tip in cash. He kept trying to talk me into putting 10.00 in addition as tip on my receipt. I told the waiter I will write on my receipt that he was paid 10.00 in cash for the tip. Today July 7th, I receive notice that a total of 50 came off my card. The waiter altered my receipt and a total of 50.00 came off my card and the waiter paid himself a $20.00 tip instead ($10 I gave him in cash an another 10 off my card. This is unacceptable and I will be visiting this establishment today to complain. I don't like when people play with my money period!!!!!!!! Came in Saturday @ around 6:30 - waited approximately 20 minutes to sit. (Not too bad for a very busy time slot) For appetizers we ordered spicy chicken bites & stuffed mushrooms - THEY WERE BOMB.COM - 1000% recommend theses two appetizers For drinks we got strawberry lemonades - they were good. To eat we ordered the 2 New York stops and 2 6oz Sirloin. The reason this place is getting 3 stars is not really because of the quality of the food- the food was DELICIOUS. It's because we ordered one sirloin to be medium well and it was a bit too overdone. One of the drinks we ordered was a Coke Zero and instead we got a Diet Coke (very distinct taste). Not only that but our waitress forgot to bring back one of our drinks after we refilled and forgot two of our side dishes so we had to wait about 5 mins after the food was on the table to get our sides. We arrived around 6:10PM. It wasn't crowded. Our waiter, Lee, was fantastic. He was polite and provided great service. He made me feel like he likes his job. The food was amazing . We all ordered the Fench Onion soup and felt it was really good. I ordered the Parmesan Chicken and baby back ribs and it was amazing. The chicken was moist and the baby back ribs were huge. My husband and friends ordered steaks and they were extremely happy because they cooked it correctly for each one of them. Disappointing. We dined here this past Valentine's Day in the late evening. My husband entered the online waitlist, and by the time we were 7th on the list and arrived at the restaurant, the system apparently straight up deleted us. It took a while but they found us as "canceled" even though we never did. They were kind enough to still seat us, but they need a better reservation or waitlist system. Service was okay. Our server didn't check on us as much as she should have as we had to flag her down ask for water refills and a soda. The restaurant was clearing out so we were unsure why our food took so long to arrive. Around half an hour our food arrived. The food was lukewarm at best, it seemed as though it had been waiting for a while to be picked up and served. Even the "melted" butter was already starting to harden. We didn't bother asking to reheat our food because it was close to closing time, and we were really hungry at this point. We both had steaks (ribeye and filet mignon) and lobster tails. The food wasn't awful, but it wasn't good. I have to also complain about the mushy asparagus (see pic). In town for one night staying down the street I came here because it was pouring rain and I know I can usually get a quality meal, I passed up some local hyped up to seafood restaurantss in hopes I was right. I did good! I came early around 530 and they were still seemingly getting ready for the evening crowd so I sat at the bar while they were restocking and got a beer and looked at the menu. Melissa was taking care of me and handling the busywork and got me a local IPA I really liked and waited patiently for me to make a decision on what I wanted to eat. I finally got a fillet and salmon which was the perfect combination I was wanting. The steak was a perfect medium rare and I really like their salmon. I always get the mushrooms sautéed and a sweet potato which made this more than I could eat. I have to say the service was impeccable as Melissa was supported by the manager and others and making a team effort for customers on this cold rainy night. The steaks are always cooked to the proper temperature, and deliciously seasoned. I personally like the prime rib, t-bone, or New York strip. The sides are always accommodating to the protein. Their deserts are really good as well. I can honestly say that I have never had a bad experience in this restaurant. The service was good. I asked for my ribeye to be cooked Pittsburgh rare but it wasn't even close. It came back medium rare and barely had any grill marks on it. My server asked if I wanted a new steak but I was starving and didn't feel like waiting any longer. Plus I hate sending food back and angering the cook.
