Had a lovely experience dining at Pho5up with my little one! The staff was amazing. So welcoming when dining with a kid, which made the whole meal extra enjoyable. I ordered the pho, and it was clean-tasting, comforting, and full of flavor. Not heavy at all, just that perfect clear broth that hits the spot. Also appreciated that everything was reasonably priced. Great value for a quality bowl of pho and excellent service. Will definitely be coming back!

Enjoyed the experience at Pho5UP. They have a really cool set up for a pho restaurant. They have the typical pho options with a slight variation in their apps. We tried their salad chicken which was pretty good. Very refreshing with lots of mixed veggies. The chicken was a bit tough. As for the pho, it wasn't one of my favorites but it was good. The broth lacked a bit of flavor even with the siracha and hoisin. Our server was attentive and our food came out quickly. I'd certainly return.

It's not bad, but definitely isn't my first choice in Pho. No complains when it comes to service, they usually greet you within 5 minutes and came to the table yo refill our waters. They get 5/5 there. Now onto the food. I hot Thai tea which was the perfect blend of sweet and black tea. Don't skip out on the appetizer - my mom loves their papaya salad and their summer rolls hit the spot: Now, the spicy broth wasn't really spicy. The beef was sliced TOO thin. The pork to me looked questionable but again i never order pork pho. Also on me for not reading it had thicker noodles. I would not get the soup again. In all, nothing wow here except their good Thai tea lol.

Was craving pho and searched for some in the area. Came across Pho 5 up and decided to check it out. I'm glad I did, this was some of the best pho I've had. I ordered the following. Shrimp and Pork Summer Rolls server with peanut sauce Beef and Pork Spicy noodle soup with a side order of bean sprouts, basil and veggies (carrot, broccoli and cabbage) Thai Milk tea

The search for the best pho in Maryland stops here!!! Super clean and fast service! Easy access of route 29. Perfect size, perfectly seasoned broth-not too salty like other pho places, plenty of finely sliced meats . The broth is HOT which is crucial! Tendons in soups are melt in your mouth!

I didn't realize this was a chain! There's one in Crofton that I've been to as well, and it exceeded my expectations for a bowl of pho. I was hoping to have the same experience here. And I was not disappointed! The pho is still incredibly tasty, and quite possibly the best pho I've had in the DMV! (Yo, DM me if you know of a better spot, I'm all ears!) The service was also great. They checked on us during the meal, which you don't always get at a casual-fast place like this. They were really friendly, too. The location is a little tucked away, but it's worth finding it on your GPS. The décor isn't stellar, but I wasn't there for the visual aesthetics. I was there for pho, and pho I got! It's a great spot for a bowl of noodles, either on a cold day or whenever you're in the mood. They keep up the 5UP consistency, so high marks there. It's easy to drift from the parent when you're out there on your own. Definitely worth visiting again!

I was in the mood for a bowl of pho after a cold and windy fall day at work. I've been meaning to try Pho 5UP as it always catches my eye when driving on 29. When arriving, there's a small parking lot just outside of the entrance. You walk in, and there's plenty of seating options. We ordered the spring rolls (which came with a delicious nutty sauce) and the bowl #1. The broth was delicious, and it came with plenty of the toppings. Service was nice and fast. A good quick spot to satisfy that pho craving. Thank you Pho 5UP in Fulton!

5 Up found the magic. It took a little time, but they got it now. On. Point. One of the criteria for a Michelin star is consistency - and these guys have that star. Day in and day out, they found that right note for the pho broth and hit it every time. Trust me I eat here 3 days a week. I've been to every pho place from Ellicott City down to DC. Their beef pho is the top shelf. Only the Mi La Cay over at Pho La Cay in Columbia is on the same level. I don't want the place to become too crowded for my selfish reason, but these folks have earned that solid 5-star rating. Come educate yourself on what pho should be.

I've been here twice for lunch and each time it was not busy which is just right for me, since there's not much parking in front of the restaurant. Service was prompt and the restaurant was clean and the tables were not sticky like some other places. I've tried the spring shrimp spring rolls, combination pho special, and bun Bo hue. All in all I think everything tasted great. As for flavor, it's always pretty consistent and good for what's in the area since there's not a lot of competition. I look to come back when I'm in need of a carb reload.

We went here on a Sunday. It was pretty quiet only a few people. They greeted us and seated us. We ordered the staple pho food that we liked. Each person has their preferences. The soup was good, it just needs a little bit more flavor. Inside was huge and spacious plenty of space.

This is the closest pho place to me, so I decided to give it a try. Usually my family goes to Rockville for our favorite pho places, and Pho 5UP did seem to miss the mark. This pho is pricier than other places, but the portion size doesn't make up for it at all. Additionally, there weren't many varieties that offered combinations of types of meat/beef. We ended up paying more than usual for exceptionally small bowls with one type of meat. The pho also seemed like it was pre-made a while before and reheated too much - something just didn't seem right about it. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning - the search continues for quality pho that's close to home.

"I don't know. I still don't get this obsession with the holidays," Hol responds. Moments later, hoping to lift her spirits and perhaps bring them together closer romantically, Stewart volunteers to celebrate in the same way that brings Hol joy, not knowing that for her the perfect night out involves a bar fight on the third moon of Galtos instigated by none other than Hol herself. Unlike Stewart and Hol, my wife's and my expectations going to Lulu's Gourmet on 13600 Baltimore Ave. in Laurel, Maryland were the same. And those expectations were high, with both of us being fans of pho and both of us having been frequent patrons of the Pho Saigon 54 restaurant that previously occupied Lulu's Gourmet's location. Lulu's servings for the pho, even for takeout orders, are gargantuan, the same size as the barrage of snowballs Stewart playfully launches at Hol before he realizes that she is not enjoying Earth's Christmas holiday season as much as he does. While a tad salty, Lulu's pho tastes great so long as one orders extra noodles to dilute the saltiness. Upon both visits, my wife was disappointed to learn that Lulu's Gourmet did not have any of the Hong Kong Waffles available to purchase that they prominently advertise. On our second visit, she was even more disappointed to not get the strawberry banana cream trang mieng that I attempted to order. I perhaps made a mistake in not getting a receipt to know if we were charged for the dessert and another mistake in showing the manager what we wanted to order on my phone rather than reading our takeout order out loud. Being an optimist like Stewart, I would give Lulu's Gourmet 3.5 stars if that were possible; but, for the purpose of current records, it will have to be a 3.

Ordering was so easy and simplified. You can just go up to the cashier to place your order and pick a table to sit down. We enjoyed our specialty drinks while waiting for our food. The fruit teas with boba and jelly were awesome. It had a nice sweetness with delicious jelly. Our food came out quickly. We started with fresh spring rolls with peanut sauce. There were a lot of large shrimps. The Golden crepe was huge with perfect crunchiness. This was perfect size to share with a few people. The Grilled Pork vermicelli was delicious. It was perfectly grilled with flavorful grilled onions. The P1 pho was yummy goodness with a hint of sweetness of the broth. The S4. Hue Spicy Lemon Grass Soup was good. I expected it to be very spicy which I was a bit concern. But it was a medium to mild spiciest. So I still have my taste buds to try the Banh Mi. We had B4 Grilled Pork and B10 Special Bahn Mi (so we can try the different meat). Like the menu stated the bread was freshly made with perfect crunchiness. The Bahn Mi were flavorful! It was perfectly balance with meat and vegetables. I'm definitely coming back.

Which is wild, because I know I've taken a bunch of food pics here that I've never posted... complete waste lol. We walked in and were seated immediately and ended up getting the second-to-last available booth. Most of the room was couples on lunch dates, plus a group of friends, and later a party of about 7 took over one of the tables. Noise level was mostly moderate, with a quick sprinkle of loud when that bigger group got going, but nothing crazy, still totally fine for a date or a relaxed lunch. My wife ordered the A2 (slices of eye of round steak, well-done flank, and soft tendon). I got the A6 (eye of round steak and soft tendon). The pho was good, the broth had a lot of flavor. I did order extra noodles because while I like the pho here, the portions are a little smaller compared to some other spots we go to. I loaded mine up with bean sprouts, tore up some basil, and let the jalapeños sit in the bowl for a bit for heat. Lately though, I've been more about the chili oil, which they'll bring out if you ask. We also got shrimp summer rolls, which are always a go-to for me when eating pho anywhere. These were fresh, great texture, and the basil really pops. The peanut sauce is one of the best parts. Honestly, I could come here just for the summer rolls and that sauce. I also grabbed a taro smoothie, lightly sweet and creamy, solid choice. Food came out fast, maybe 8 minutes after ordering. Service here is consistently good. The staff is friendly, not pushy at all, and they actually check in on you without hovering. You can always get someone's attention if you need something. They even let a couple move from a table to a booth once one opened up, which I thought was a nice touch. The place itself is very clean, the tables and floors are always well kept. I don't really remember music, but there was a TV on playing college basketball. Overall vibe is relaxed. Parking can be a little tight since it's tucked behind a Rita's and the layout is kind of awkward, but even when it's full you're not walking far, just a compact lot. Price-wise, our total was about $40, but that included an extra summer roll and an extra smoothie. Without the extras, it would've been under $30. My only real critique is portion size for the price, specifically with the pho. It's not a deal breaker, but it's why this isn't my go-to spot when I'm really hungry. I'm a big guy with a big appetite -- my wife would be fine eating here any day of the week. Would I come back? Yeah. The food is good and the service is solid. For me, this is more of a quick lunch spot or a stop when I'm on the move, rather than a full dinner destination. Consistent, reliable, and never a bad choice, just depends on how hungry you are.
