I gave this 5 stars 11 years ago but have since had a lot more Pho. This is a very thin traditional clear stock. Good flavor. Has a fair amount of salt or msg in it. Not a lot of meat in my #12. Large was $16.50 and the coffee was $5.75. So, kind of a pricey lunch, but it is fast, reliable, friendly and the noodles are perfect. These days a tend to like a more full bodied stock. Overall, Pho VN One really hit the spot for my pho craving. For about 15 bucks, you can receive a HUGE bowl of pho with comes with all of the fixings. There is an option for a smaller bowl for about $14 bucks. I also ordered the fried spring rolls, which were about $4 for two. If you are not super hungry, I would recommend skipping the appetizers because you will receive a huge portion of pho. The ambiance of the restaurant is very modest because you might see a few broken tables with yellow tape blocking it off. However, I think that's kind of par for the course for many Vietnamese restaurants that I have visited in the area. The restaurant is great for larger parties. During my visit, I saw a couple of groups with 6+ people. I thought the service was pretty good because the waiter/owner checked on me a couple of times during my meal. Also, the food will come out fast. For instance, my pho came out before my spring rolls. ;) I was a little annoyed that it took a while to receive my bill. However, I think that was on me because I did not realize that you are supposed to get your bill and pay at the register. Although the food was great, I do not think that I will go too far out of my way (e.g., driving more than 20 minutes) to dine here. I tried to order extra tendon but they said they only have enough for pho and not for a side. Doesn't make sense to me if you're going to charge extra and then say you can't do it. Meatballs were just okay. The broth was just okay. I wanted to ask for extra of the bean sprouts etc, but honestly wasn't enough food to take any home. I've been going to Pho VN for about 7 years. At one point, once a week with my daughters. This is my go-to pho spot. I'm a pho snob and been to some of the best pho restaurants all over the country. This definitely my favorite spot in the area. Everyone here is so friendly and pleasant to deal with. This is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. All of the staff are incredibly kind and helpful, they remember your face if you go even semi frequently. The food is phenomenal as well. I didn't know if I would like pho when I came here for the first time, but the dishes here have some of the best food I have ever had. They also give you massive portion sizes, even for the small. My only slight gripe is that their meals tend to not have much meat, but you can order extra meat and it comes in a mini bowl with extra broth as well! The food is on the more expensive end, but it is well worth it not only for good food, but to support a local family owned business who deserves the love. read more

My boyfriend and I went for the first time around a month and a half ago, and have already come back around 4 times since. Each time we walked in, we were immediately greeted and sat. The restaurant is pretty clean and very informal. You seat yourself, have various people greeting, taking your order, bringing the food, dropping the check, and then lastly when you take your tab to the register to check out. I ordered the Pho Ga which is with chicken while my peers both had tofu instead. Our meals came out fast and the small portions were quite large. One big plate of bean sprouts topped with thai basil leaves and a side of limes were left for us to share. The broth is very flavorful and piping hot.
