It's the SPOT! This is our go to taco spot. Their tortas and tacos always hit. We usually get tacos de tripa (bien dorada) / Alpastor / Asada and torta de Milanese de pollo. Horchata also hits every time. I can honestly say I've never been disappointed. If you're ordering taking out - as soon as you walk in someone's at a table with all the go to orders. You can also stand in the separate line for dine in and then they give you a number and you can choose open seating. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have an inside and outside area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Don't forget to also get extra salsas, jalepenos, or pickled onions at the stand right next to the door.

The most color Mexican restaurant with authentic food! Be prepared to speak Spanish, but the staff is able to understand a little English. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is always packed because the food is so great![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

This was our first time and I would happily go back. You order and pay at the counter and they bring the food to your table once ready. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor is bright and unapologetically Mexican and I love it. They even have an ofrenda in the corner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is parking in the back. I was afraid to park behind the hotel next door that shares the same parking lot but it seemed like a lot of people were parking there and going to the restaurant. The Quesabirria I got was excellent. The consume that came with it was not very flavorful, but fortunately the quesabirria was delicious without it. My friend got a variety of tacos and the Al pastor was his favorite. They did not have the plantains/bananas today for the Licuada de fresa y platano so I got it with just the strawberries. It was good, but I want to try it again when they have the platanos.

You ever just want to gate keep so bad? That's how I feel about Taqueria Los Primos. I've been making the 40 minute trip out here for the last few years because I love it that much. The shrimp tacos are my go to, but I've also had the Caldo de Mariscos and the Shrimp Quesadilla. Don't leave without trying the Tres Leches. It's literally the best. The service is great. This is an order at the front and they bring it to you type of place. Great place for up to four people, but I wouldn't do more than that because it's tight. No frills.

Double to see if they still doing these fire azz burrito specials on Monday. Just perfect! #followthefatboy IG: eatfatboy TT: promojimmy

It's been over 7 years...still worth the drive and money. Under new ownership, but they've managed to work out the kinks that made it so-so a few years back. There was an unfortunate period where the food wasn't seasoned. It seemed like they were trying to appeal to a different palate, but thank goodness that hurdle was cleared. Finally tried the cabeza tacos that people keep raving about and they're a delicious treat! A little greasy but worth every bite. So are the Al pastor tacos. I didn't know how much I loved pork until now. Honorable mention: those wonderful bags of pinwheel style chips. The cashier said they're made of pork and my oh my oh my! Crispy, delicious, and the Mexican version of Lays chips. I dare you to have just one. My only gripe? They no longer have lengua tacos :( So...Los Primos...please keep my love of pork a secret for now. I'll break that rule just for you! ;)

Okay, I admit it--I'm one of those people who will *absolutely* pick a restaurant based on how many cars are in the parking lot. And that's exactly how we found **Taqueria Los Primos**. We were driving by on a Saturday night when we saw car after car pulling in. I looked at my husband and said, "Hmm... we've never been there--let's try it." The hardest part? Finding a parking spot. But that was a good sign. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We walked in, placed our order at the counter, and instantly felt the energy. The place was packed with families, laughter, and tables full of incredible-looking Mexican and Salvadorian dishes.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Clearly, this spot is a local favorite--and now I understand why. I ordered the **quesabirria**, and my husband got the **beef burrito**. First off, the prices? Amazing. Second--*the portions!* I'm a foodie who loves a generous plate, and this place did not disappoint. My quesabirria was cheesy, flavorful, and *huge*. I couldn't even finish it (and that's saying something). My husband's burrito? It was fatter and more flavorful than any burrito I've ever tasted. Pure comfort food heaven. What started as a random stop has now turned into one of our new go-to spots. If you're anywhere near this place, do yourself a favor and pull in--just make sure you come hungry!

Such a great find! I absolutely love authentic Mexican tacos. The moment you walk in you can feel the authenticity. It's quite a vibe inside. The decor is a bit much, but it's fun. I was in there around 1pm on a Saturday and it was packed. Even though it was super busy, everything was running smoothly. I ordered four individual tacos (chicken, chorizo , steak, and carnitas) and a side of rice and beans. $18. The tacos are exactly what you'd expect for an authentic Mexican taco. Corn tortillas packed with meat and topped with cilantro and onions. I really enjoyed the chorizo taco and the rice beans. Great flavor and not too salty. I wasn't as excited about the other three as the meat was slightly under seasoned and dry. The sauces they give you definitely helped. Overall, I was happy with the entire experience. I will just go for different taco options next time.

I passed by los Primos on a rainy day for some dinner. I decided to try something new instead of their amazing tacos, which are always very flavorful and decided to try posole to my surprise. It was bursting with flavor, tasted like someone's grandmother was making it for hours Lol I would highly recommend this if you are a soup person it is full of chickpeas and chunks of beef. It comes with chips, onion, lemon, and lettuce.

This was my first (but not last) visit at Los Primos and I enjoyed everything, including the speedy service and online ordering. Ordering online ahead of time meant I walked right up to the register and he handed me my bag. I came on a Saturday morning around 11:30 and it wasn't busy yet. The queso tastes like a typical cheese sauce from a can with slightly more seasoning, so I'm not mad? But it's definitely milder and not as flavorful as a white queso from other restaurants. The guacamole was simple but very good, and it started to brown a little bit once I opened the container, which I was really happy about because it meant it was real ingredients lol I thought the birria tacos were delicious. Flavorful, a slight kick, lots of meat in the shell. It was good with and without a squeeze of lemon, and with and without the consommé. A taco is really good if it can stand on its own, and this one did. 4 of them was way too many. Next time, I'll order 2 tacos and get 2 different flavors instead of the 4 Tacos de Birria dish. I was expecting there to be cheese on them but there wasn't. I'm sure my expectations is just me being American. I was disappointed when I saw there was no cheese, but then didn't care at all once I tasted it. The side of beans and rice was evenly flavored and complemented each other really well. Sometimes I feel like the rice from American Mexican restaurants can be bland, but this one wasn't at all. Not overly seasoned, but obviously seasoned. I'll be back!

I've been coming to Taqueria Los Primos since high school--over 10 years now--and it has never disappointed. Let's be real. The point of this place is simple: you're here for great tacos. Point, Period. Blank. Let's start with the food. The tacos are consistently amazing--perfectly seasoned, fresh, and flavorful. The meat quality is top-notch, and they've got that authentic LA or Texas street taco feel that's hard to come by anywhere on the East Coast. I've tried spots all over the East and the DMV and I can confidently say these are the BEST tacos in the area. The service is solid. The ladies (& gentlemen) who work there are warm, welcoming, and efficient. You can tell they've done this for a long time. They bring the food to your table but they aren't waiter so there is no tip requirement. [[HIGHLIGHT]]As for ambiance, it's local, casual, and unapologetically Hispanic--just how a taqueria should be.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's a little bar of sauces and toppings you can customize your tacos with, which adds that extra personal touch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]If you're looking for fancy decor and trendy cocktails, this isn't your spot. But if you want real tacos made right, Taqueria Los Primos is the place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ten years later, I'm still coming back--and still leaving happy. See y'all there, I'll be with my girlfriend killing those tacos.

We ordered the calamari, fajitas, and enchiladas, and all of the entrees were delicious. My favorite was definitely the calamari. It was lightly battered, perfectly crispy, and I loved that the dipping sauce was served warm it paired so well. The only downside was that the shrimp in the fajitas still had the shells on, which was pretty surprising when I took a bite. It also feels very crowded inside, which makes the space less comfortable. The booth seating could use some improvement as well, the tables are too high while the chairs are too low, making it uncomfortable to sit and enjoy a meal. Their complimentary chips and salsa were the best we've had so far. The salsa tasted fresh, authentic, and full of flavor. The only other disappointment was that they had run out of horchata and weren't making another batch. I was really looking forward to trying it, but overall we had a great meal and would definitely come back.

We had an order of the shrimp and chicken fajitas, beef floutas and the salmon a la parrilla, grilled salmon topped with homemade mango salsa served with mixed green salad, rice & beans. The mango salsa was tasty but I didn't like how runny it was. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the restaurant itself looked clean and well-kept, which made the whole experience more enjoyable.
