LOVEEEEE CHIDOS DOWN. Amigos just shut down so me and my sister went to Chido's. Super busy of course because everyone had the same idea we did but we were seated in literally 6 mins! Drinks super strong, tacos super good as always. I ordered tres leches to go, forgot it on the table and went on a walk around the lake. I came back and they literally give me a fresh one. Chidos will always have my heart!!

This is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants and when I used to live in Laurel, I would go here regularly. The food and the vibes are always on 1000 and they throw one of the best Cinco de Mayo events in Maryland. On this particular day, I had a light meal, but it was so delicious and the bartenders, because I sat in the bar area, were so sweet and attentive. I wouldn't change a thing about this place and make sure you check out the entire menu because everything is delicious.

Apparently I'm new to the fact that Chido's has the vibes. I met up with some friends on a Saturday, and the place was packed. We had to wait about 30 min for a table, but it wasn't too bad after that. We shared a Frozen blackberry and regular Margarita pitcher which was surprisingly strong considering it was being split between 4 people (suggestion: you only need 1)! The frozen blackberry was definitely a hit! For dinner we had Salmon en Salsa Caribe and Carne Asada, while friends had Chicken Quesadilla & Ceviche - only complaint being the ceviche did not come with chips or something to scoop with. Everything was delicious and well-seasoned. The Salmon is def a fave and something to look forward to on a return visit. Overall the atmosphere is very lively, a great place to watch the games/fights or share a pitcher with friends

I went here on 2 separate occasions. The first time Melanie took care of us. And she has the absolute best customer service I have had in a long time. She was very thorough and patient. The mariachi band playing for a party was nice music. The music overall was great. Food was great as well we got full off the free chips and salsa. The second time I came back I had another server but they were still very nice. The food was so good but again I got full on the chips and salsa haha.

Here for a birthday celebration! We had a reservation and we were seated when most of our party arrived. We had a large party of maybe 20 people. We were seated outside. We ordered drinks and we ordered the tower with premium liquor. I want to say maybe 4 of us shared it and we at least got 2 cups out of it. I also had a frozen margarita. It was good and it's a creeper. It was sweet and you forget it's alcohol in it. Now let's get to the food! I ordered Carne Asada fajitas. They were so good the meat you could cut with a butter knife. It was seasoned to perfection. I literally tried everyone's food and everything was amazing. I will definitely come back and try different things. I want to try the fish. Can't wait to come back!

As soon as you park in the lot you can smell the food. This place was pretty spacious and it was busy, but the service was really good. We were served chips and salsa as soon as we sat down. It was pretty good. For drinks we had the sangria and a pina colada. They were both really good but the pina colada was my favorite. For entres we had the carne asada and the mar y Tierra. Both came with rice and beans and tortillas. Everything was delicious! The beans were really good and the flour tortillas seem homemade and a great pairing with the meal. Overall food was flavorful and delicious, service was excellent.

Oh this place was an absolute treat! I'm a sucker for Tex-mex and authentic Mexican food, so this place was perfect. The Shredded chicken taco salad was exactly what I needed. Perfect ingredients and the shell was fried perfectly. Our server did well considering it was 12 of us. We sat on the patio and although there was a lot of people, we were sitting on top of each other. Love the virgin and alcoholic Mango margarita

Happy birthday to me. March 17, 2024. Also, my birthday is on St. Patrick's Day

I absolutely love this Mexican spot. Celebrated my birthday here, which happens to be St. Patricks Day. They have a 3 for 15 special. I chose the crispy taco, beef enchilada and the seafood poblano pepper and it was the bomb. The quality of the food is superb. Their margaritas come in three sizes. Kinda like a small, medium, and large. I got the frozen medium-sized margarita and it was $15. It was served in a small water sized glass. It was okay. I have a high tolerance for alcohol. So, I like my drinks a little strong. Especially when I have my husband as the designated driver. He does not drink. Back to the subject, the first time that I ever came here, I got the large frozen sangria margarita and it did not disappoint. Since it was my birthday, the server sent over a group of people that work there, who sang "Happy Birthday" to me in Spanish and English while wearing a sombrero. It was a vibe. So fun. Check out Chidos in Laurel MD. Located off Route 1 Baltimore Avenue. You will not be disappointed.

This place is a really spacious and a cozy location. Parking is ample and the food and vibe was great. I enjoyed the Lomo Saltado and salad, we were there to meet some friends and the environment was just right for a great conversation without any loud background noises. There was a birthday gathering that had the employees banging on loud pots and pans which was similar to a mariachi, but not quite as nice, a real mariachi singer and instruments would have been really good. I enjoyed the tender beef and sauce in the Lomo Saltado alot, would definitely be back to try some other goodies!

Chidos, Chidos, Chidos, an all time FAVORITE! I've been a loyal customer to Chidos for a few years now and can say 11/29/25 was my first time trying their brunch out. My mom and I decided to go and we can surely say we were NOT disappointed! The food had a great flavor to them, service was quick and easy, and the ambiance of the bar area, where we always sit at, is such a vibe and a fun time. I love being able to become personable with the bartenders and it's so fun connecting with them! Everything was so great and I can't wait to go back for their brunch again! Reasonable prices as well, 10/10!

Went here for happy hour with some great friends. The ambiance is warm, and festive. There is a large bar with comfortable seats. The happy hour menu is small but powerful. The 5 dollar margarita made me wonder if they knew they were giving money away. I mean that one frozen margarita (strawberry) was delicious and strong. The bartender kept the addictive chips and salsa coming and I ordered the flautas which took me back in time. They were delicious and I offered none to my friends lol Will be back for sure

Fried Ie Cream was sooooo good.

Ambiance... it definitely checks all the boxes for Tex-Mex, very nice decor, etc. it was toasty in the restaurant, I found myself sweating and ready to get to air. Mints to go were delicious! Service.... Very kind, friendly waitstaff and hostess... no concerns there Drinks.... No concerns there, we had a strawberry and mango margarita and they were very good, I could've ordered more Food.... I was very disappointed with the Fish tacos... they contained salmon but the salmon was not seasoned at all and the plate was very "wet" lots of juices all over and it made the plate look really gross in my opinion and I didn't like the juice that was all over the plate very messy! ( I must add they did not charge me for the tacos because I did not like them)... pic has one missing where I tried to enjoy, but couldn't. Steak and Eggs (brunch item).... Very small steak it was flank steak, eggs were made order but unseasoned. Overall 3/5 for steak and eggs. Overall... I would come again for drinks if in the area and chips and salsa, but not for food and definitely would not travel here again to try anything else. Although this does not concern me, a gentleman who sat behind me dropped $20 and the waitress was standing there picked it up when he walked past and ran to another employee to share and then she put in her pocket.

I tried to order ahead on the app, but for the life of me, I couldn't find the side salad. I don't know if it was the app or my eyes, but I ended up having to double-park and literally run inside to place the order. The line of people waiting to get seated was ridiculous, it was completely packed. The hostess told me it would be about 25 minutes. Knowing how busy it was, I came back in 30, and it took another 10 minutes to be ready. Honestly, with that crowd, it was completely fine and understandable. We got it home and everything was good. It's consistent, nothing to necessarily write home about, but exactly what we wanted. The wings are definitely better fresh in the restaurant; the plastic to-go containers make them lose that crispy hit, but popping them in for a couple of minutes at home brings the texture right back. You do get maybe two fewer wingettes here than their competitor chain, and I might slightly prefer the competitor's base wing flavor, but LongHorn has this buffalo sauce that hits. I was able to pour it all over my wings and still had some for dipping, which was a huge plus. The side salad was decent, and I absolutely love their white balsamic vinaigrette and the honey mustard, I just bounce between the two depending on my mood. Overall, a quality, consistent experience. Usually with brunch we would do the bottomless mimosas and all but because I was driving I decided not to participate in that. And usually I would get chicken and waffles but I was in the mood for a burger. So I thought because their name is "Mad Cow" the burger would be the bomb...but nope it was not good at all. So I prefer a beef burger cooked medium with blue cheese, mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onions. When I burger got tot the table it was dry as a board. No blue cheese that I paid extra for and the burger was not cooked correctly it was cooked well done. Smdh. So the waiter brought me my blue cheese apologized about it and also gave me a mayo bottle. Even with the burger still was not good and the patty was so thick with no flavor not even salt and pepper was in it!! I tried their punch drink which was really good but for $15 a pop in a regular water glass was ridiculous. Make sure you don't get too tipsy as they already have like a 20% gratuity added on each of our checks no matter how small or big your group is which again is ridiculous! Will I come back...maybe only because I would like to try some Jamaican food they offer. But for brunch...it's a no for me!

The atmosphere was warm and friendly, welcoming and not pretentious, a mix of couples, families, and groups of friends enjoying a night out. The restaurant was bustling, the bar area was nearly full and while we did have a reservation, it appeared not to be absolutely necessary. Service was friendly, prompt, and informative.    I started with one of their craft cocktails and our server recommended a beer for my friend. The drinks were perfectly refreshing and a good start to our evening. When my friend saw they had oysters, this convinced him we had chosen wisely. We selected a mix of their oyster offerings. They arrived chilled and with just the right amount of condiments making for a tantalizing slurp to start our dinner. For starters, we selected the Brussels Sprouts and the Roasted Beet Carpaccio. The Brussels were perhaps some of the best we've had in quite some time, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The goat cheese on the Beet Carpaccio was very good, but for me, the flavor profile wasn't quite there, it needed a little more acidity. For dinner, my friend selected the Shrimp and Grits, and I chose the Argentinian Steak. While quite good, constructive criticism would be that the vinegar in the chimichurri, smothered an otherwise perfectly cooked, flavorful steak and the rosemary overpowered the roasted potatoes. The grits, while delicious, were almost too creamy rich, but otherwise a delicious blend of sausage and shrimp. For dessert, we shared the Key Lime Pie and the Carrot Cake. The cake was very good, but we weren't fans of the hardened frosting top, and we wished the Key Lime Pie had even more tart, lime flavor.   The portions were plentiful, the price point was reasonable, and all plates were wonderfully presented. The friendly neighborhood environment, atmosphere, and service all enhanced our dining experience. Definitely give them a try, we will return and look forward to it.
