It's been a long time since I reviewed this place. I love the crab cheesesteak sub. It's actually the only thing I get from here. My sandwich usually comes with pure crabmeat, no fillers, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions. This sandwich is filling. If you pay cash the sandwich is $24. If you use a credit card it is a little over $25. Just putting that out there. Every bit counts. This is a carryout only. I usually call my order in for pick-up and it's ready upon my arrival. If you order in person they will bring your order to your vehicle when ready. They don't seem to be up to date with the online ordering yet. If you love crabcakes you will definitely love the the crab cheesesteak sub. It's delicious I tell you. read more

A friend who lives in the vicinity kept hooting and hollering about the Crabmeat Cheesesteak at Casey's. He's one of my favorite foodies so I trust his opinion on the good, local eats! This time was no different. We decided to share the crabmeat cheesesteak and the lobster melt. Both were delicious. The crab cheesesteak was flavorful and filled with crab (not just that filler stuff). It's Maryland, come with it! My only ick was the over salty flavor that lingered after each bite. Half of the sandwich was more than enough for that reason. Maybe tone down the old bay?! The lobster melt was a yummy follow-up. It was juicy and buttery, and the squeeze of a lemon wedge was a chef's kiss accoutrement. I'd definitely go here again when I'm in the area! Service was friendly; we ordered to-go. I had family come in from out of town and they wanted to try some crab! And Casey's Crab was highly rated on Yelp, so we decided to give it a go :) There's not a lot of seating, the only seating being a couple of chairs and a picnic table outside the restaurant. Luckily we were a small party and the weather was perfect, so it wasn't a big deal. The food we ordered was pretty great! The crab cheesesteak we had heard about was definitely worth the visit, although the price for what we got (we also ordered a platter and crab balls) were a bit high. The staff were amazing. C is for Casey's Crab: Early in our relationship, we went to Casey's Crab on February 27, 2024. In fact, that night after eating we had the talk about where we were in a relationship. We met here after work on this Tuesday. I had gotten there a little early. I realized they don't have any inside seating, which was the one negative. They have a little bit of seating outside, but it was a chilly, light rain mist that afternoon. The woman answered my questions and highly recommended the crabcake cheesesteak, which is market price, at the time was about $25 each. We took them back to my place, and wow this was amazing! I live close to here in western Anne Arundel County in Maryland City (in the Russett neighborhood); this is more on the very outskirts of MD City, almost Odenton. Stopped by to try the crabmeat cheesesteak. There's seating available outside at a few picnic tables. The staff warmed up (they were a little cold when I first walked in). This was our first time visiting this restaurant. It has great reviews online and I can see why. I had the Crab Cake Sandwich and I really enjoyed it. Nice generous portion (6 oz Cake). It was seasoned to my liking. My wife had the Fish and Chips. Today's feature fish was Flounder and she enjoyed it. If you enjoy High Quality Seafood you won't go wrong here. Right off the main highway and worth the hype! We had gotten the crabmeat cheesesteak and it was AMAZING!! The amount of crabmeat you receive is well beyond the price and the flavoring is perfect. We also ordered their hush puppies and they were probably some of the best we've ever had. There's no seating inside since Covid but there are a few benches outside for seating. They also have a cold bar with oysters and other cold items. Definitely recommend especially if you're interested in their crab cheesesteak! The service was very welcoming and friendly! The service was super quick, I ordered hot crab dip and deviled eggs and they kindly brought my order out to me within a couple minutes. The deviled eggs were tasty, though 6.99 for 4 is a little steep since they didn't have a seafood topper on anything on them. The hot crab dip came with a roll of ritz crackers, so perfect for eating on the go. The consistency of the dip was light and fluffy, which wasn't what I was expecting. Flavor wise, it was tasty and the portion was good, but I would have enjoyed more lump crab. Overall, I'll be back to try some of the other heartier dishes on the menu. Pricing seems to fluctuate, so it may be worthwhile to call in advance to find out the pricing of a particular item. read more

I stopped in here on a mission to find a delightful Maryland hole in the wall and buddy, this hit the spot. If you're dining on their outdoor counter they don't let you buy whole crab, so I opted for the crab balls and they were deliciously meaty with a perfect crispy outside. Hey friends! Casey's Crab is a hidden gem for sure. I've always passed by this place & I'm happy that I finally checked it out! I was greeted pleasantly by the cashier. Things to note: 1.They do not accept Apple Pay. 2.They will ID you if you're paying with debit/credit. 3. They are carry-out only. 4.They ask for your vehicles color/make/model and bring your order to your car. As an introvert, I really enjoyed being able to wait in my car for my food lol. My order was quick, came out in less than 15 minutes. I ordered the Shrimp Po' Boy and a side of fries totaling at $17.99. Not bad for fresh seafood! The fries were hand cut and seasoned well. Unfortunately, like other reviewers stated, the fries were a little soggy. The shrimp was golden brown, juicy & crispy. The sandwich came topped with mayo, lettuce and tomato. Unfortunately the sandwich lacked flavor, Old Bay seasoning would've made the shrimp perfect! The sandwich was enjoyable overall, a 8/10. The inside is small and does not have indoor seating. However, there is limited outdoor seating. There website states that crab must be taken to-go and cannot be eaten at their outdoor seating areas. My fiance picked up dinner for us yesterday and it was really good. I ordered hushpuppies and the crabcake sandwich and he ordered the fried cream corn crab cheese steak which I was hesitant of but it was pretty good. My crab cake sandwich was a little crunchy. Done just right, great with the sauces that come with them. So far the best shrimp po boys I've had were in Louisiana and Charleston, SC. I had 1 po boy in Annapolis, and it just didn't make the cut. So much was wrong with it; it would've made a Southerner push it aside in shame and disgust. But not this shrimp po boy. Everything was fresh! There was a decent amount of shrimp and it was fried just right, the sub roll was fresh, ditto the veggies, and the mayo wasn't overpowering. It actually complemented the rest of the po boy. The shop is close to Ft. Meade, run by a nice and professional crew. The place is well-kept and welcoming. Cant recommend it enough! read more

I've tried the crabmeat cheesesteak, fried flounder and scallops with fries and coleslaw. Nice big pieces of flounder and scallops. I'd say the crabmeat cheesesteak is the most unique here. Market price today was about $21. Cheaper than what I remember on my previous visit. Then open the doors and there are signa everywhere stating their specials. They have a menu as well, but I didn't see all the specials on there. I ordered the crab cheesesteak ($21 and tax) and goodness gracious was it delicious!! The crab with the standard toppings on a cheesesteak was PERFECT!! Making me want it again just typing my review! I was thinking about the lobster melt but not a big fan of English muffins so I passed but maybe next time I will ask if it can go on another piece of bread. Ohhh they also had a 50 XL bag of shrimp for $16.99...only kicker is they do need to be cleaned and deshelled. Still not too bad of a price. I had a taste for a shrimp po'boy today, and since Jody's is closed for now, I decided to come here as they have good reviews. They are still following COVID restrictions, there is no indoor seating. A few spots on the patio, but they bring your food out to your car or call you when the food is ready to be picked up. I ordered a shrimp po'boy with onion rings. The food was good. A friend recommended this place to me, so i decided to take the drive. I was dying to the crab cheesesteak, and for $20, it did not disappoint. A soft hoagie roll Loaded with crab meat, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, American cheese and Mayo. It was delicious. I grabbed a cup of their garlic butter to dip, and it was a nice addition to it too!!! I wanted to try a couple things on their menu, so I got an order of deviled eggs as well. The photos weren't loading, but the reviews looked generally positive so we decided to go here for lunch. There's no seating, so it's all to go, which was a definite surprise. I suppose we could've stayed for an outdoor picnic, but in the rain it wasn't an appealing idea. The soup of the day wasn't ready by 1pm which was weird since they'd drawn it on the chalk menu. I went to Casey's crab for the crabmeat sub. Unfortunately I am not a fan of the crab meat used in the sub. I think it was from the crab claw. I would have preferred lump crab meat and I would have paid the extra cost. The sub was just OK. I ate half of it on my ride home in heavy traffic but I through the other half in the trash was I arrived home. Not all is list on this sub. The place was cute, clean, and quaint. The service was pleasant and the prices were very reasonable. I will go back to this place to try other menu items some day. read more
