Pizza birria

The food was good here. I got a Birria pizza. It was about $30. It's was worth it. It can probably feed 3-4 people.

Whenever I meet someone from Mexico in the area and ask their recommendation for authentic tacos, I am directed here and for the years I've been patronizing, I've never been disappointed! I originally would come to satisfy my very rare cravings for tacos de asada, then tried their pupusas and fell even more in love! Another go-to has been their sopa de pollo when I'm feeling sick. I've tried other items here and there and have enjoyed each one. Although I usually stay away from chicken tacos because the meat tends to be dry and flavorless, I decided to give it a try here because I can no longer eat red meat and I was nice and satisfied! The meat was flavorful and the four tacos were the perfect serving. I usually order pick up (delivery on rare occasions) which is fast and I am always greeted with a smile. Depending on how I'm greeted, I either speak Spanish or Spanglish, but either way, they are always lovely. The inside in colorful, inviting, and self-seating, so you can also enjoy your food in the restaurant.

Moving here from Texas - it's hard to find a good burrito but this place broke the curse. We love their breakfast burrito! The staff were also so easy to talk and really nice. The place is so clean.

So glad we finally checked this place out by the house! The food was delicious, I probably could've ordered another order of tacos they were so good! The rice and beans were delicious too, we'll definitely be back!

First timer . I always visit Laurel but never tried El Patron . It's located in a location. Where we don't see it much . It's kinda hidden ! But such an amazing place for Mexican food ... For the price , the quantity of food is great .. most of the dishes that I ordered was 12-14$ and the quantity was a lot . Loved the taste too. There are very few veggie options. Got veg quesadillas and it was ok, chicken dish was really good . They also give salad , rice and bean with chicken meal. Very good service . Lots of seats inside to dine in .. parking is good . They also have a bakery inside ... Overall a good experience ..

3-Tacos de Birria , I ask for no onion and cilantro.

I love this taqueria, I'm from California and I really enjoy the taco birria, I also get the Jamaica, here my husband really enjoy the carne burrito, and the horchata was delicious and the birria tacos are great , they also have a small bakery they have parking in front

I have been here twice so far and this is what I learned. The food is good but place your order ahead of time. They are short staffed. First time I came the staff was nice and friendly. I waited like 20mins for the food. Food was good but took a while. Which is why I would go back. 2nd time I came to dine in and they took a loooong time just to bring coffee. They had no decaf and no artificial sugar. I ordered huevos rancheros.....lets just say Ive had better ones. Rice and beans was weak. My advice order your food ahead of time and make sure its to go.

Food was so good, so good to the point I forgot to take a picture! I ordered cheese pupusas (3) birria tacos (3), and let me tell you the pupusas were huge! Flavor of both items were excellent no complaints, except I wish I ordered more... Service was great and quick. Cute vibes with the small bakery inside. I definitely plan on coming back to explore more items on the menu.

This is a hidden gem located in the old Pizza Hut. My friend and I shared birria tacos, sopa de birria and the tacos dorados. The sopas pair really well with the crispy dorados. The broth itself was very rich in flavor and you can tell all of the meat juicys were marinating in it for hours. The birria tacos packed plenty of flavor and the tacos dipped in the consume were perfect. The staff here were really friendly. Highly recommend this spot if you want some quality Mexican food. I'll definitely be back to try their other taco specials and dinner items.

I've passed this place so many times I can't count! Finally made a stop yesterday for "Taco Tuesday" to go. It's definitely a hole in the wall but those are the best (in my opinion). They had a special - 4 tacos for $10 and you can mix and match! I did 2 chicken and 2 steak and they were tasty! Totally worth the price and a visit. There are many taco spots in the area and this one has won me over! The service was great. There's plenty of parking and indoor seating! I didn't pay attention to whether they serve alcohol or not, but either way, check out their tacos!! You won't be disappointed.

I was craving Mexican food and my partner and I decided to give this place a try. This place definitely has an authentic feel both in the food and the restaurant itself. I started off with the elote loco and it was definitely not my favorite. The elote I'm used to has mayo, cheese, butter, lime, and cayenne pepper. Their elote had ketchup, mayo, and mustard... it didn't taste bad, but it was just a very different experience. I wasn't a huge of the ketchup and mustard on my corn though. I had a bite of my partner's carne asada and it was really good! It wasn't dry like a lot of other Mexican places and it wasn't super thin either. I had the pastor sope and it was super good. The base was super crunchy and they topped it up high with the meats and veggies. Would come back here for some Mexican bites!

A little unassuming on the outside; delicious food inside! The tacos...THE TACOS! Birria tacos, chorizo tacos, the burritos, the elote, the salads, everything we have tried in El Patron has been delectable. Good and friendly service too. I highly recommend and will definitely be back!

The parking lot is small, and there's no sauce stand--which is probably my only downside. Because of the holiday, the wait was about 30 minutes for four tacos, which was a bit longer than I would've liked. That said, it was worth it. Taqueria Los Primos has always been my go-to spot and, up until now, the best tacos I've had in Maryland--but Los Perez takes the top spot for me. I was a little thrown off seeing the hot sauce come in a plastic packet, but it was actually super fire. I'd come back here all the time. This place could easily hold its own against some of the best Mexican spots in Los Angeles. Highly, highly recommend if you haven't been yet.

The chicken was seasoned well and the carnitas were flavorful, the accompanying sauces - salsa verde y roja were incredible! The tacos were filling and accompanied with limes, cilantro, and radishes. My husband enjoyed both the cabeza and the asada, he especially loved the cabeza as it was very juicy and flavorful. We did pickup from the restaurant, calling the order in ahead was straightforward, and it was ready within 15 minutes. The ambiance of the restaurant is very special, beautifully decorated, with plenty of seating. Would definitely go again!

The special Apple Cider Reposado margarita was good but we didn't taste any of the cider, just straight up tequila but it was good. You can also order margaritas in passion fruit, mango, strawberry, and hibiscus flavors. They get extra points because of the passion fruit flavor. The complimentary chips were okay, but the salsa stood out, it had an authentic/in house made flavor. For the main meals, everyone at the table was satisfied. We had an order of the shrimp and chicken fajitas, beef floutas and the salmon a la parrilla, grilled salmon topped with homemade mango salsa served with mixed green salad, rice & beans. The mango salsa was tasty but I didn't like how runny it was. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the restaurant itself looked clean and well-kept, which made the whole experience more enjoyable. I would come back and try a few other items on the menu. The online menu is a bit different from what we had in person, I didn't see the mussels on the menu given to us in the restaurant. Happy Hour is from 3-7pm. This is a solid spot for a casual night out with friends for good margaritas, authentic touches, and a welcoming atmosphere.

I wouldn't exactly sit down and eat, but to-go, absolutely. I grabbed three tacos (Chicken, carne asada, chorizo). They are served on corn tortillas with cilantro and cooked onions. The cooked onions were a bit different for me as I'm used to the raw diced onions. Oommggg...these tacos were packed with flavor and gave me a sense of an authentic Mexican taco. I can't believe I waited so long to for this place a shot. This will definitely be on my frequently visited spots. On top of all that, the gentleman at the counter was super friendly. We were a party of three on a Monday, and there was only one other party of three seated. The rest of the restaurant, a large open space with tables and chairs, as well as booths, was empty. There's a bar to the right side, kitchen in the far back. It's clearly set up for shows, performances, screenings, and/or dancing with a raised stage toward the entrance and a projector screen. The service was very good. The server was friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and attentive. There was a small language barrier but we overcame it by rephrasing, repeating, and gesturing. My companions ordered the quesabirria tacos, which they both devoured and raved about. The tacos did look visually stimulating, were served hot, and were a large portion for the price. I ordered the huevos rancheros without beef, and it was tasty but not astounding. The side of beans tasted like a shot of vodka was added in it and tasted terrible. I also ordered tamarindo but they were out of stock. They also didn't have tamal de elote, which was disappointing but not surprising since it's winter. I then opted for the lemonade, which was freshly made and does not come come with free refills. Soft drinks are can sodas, not from a fountain drink machine.
