Ordered takeout from here, got egg drop beef chow fun and Pad Kra Pow. Wow, I love their big portion size. This is such a good spot for quick and decent takeout. Excited to explore their other dishes.

I had a love hate relationship with this restaurant before they reopened with their new name and I still have a love hate relationship with this place. Nobody does the lobster (aka crawfish) roll like they do. But I have tried ordering from them through the fan Tuan app several times and it isn't until I get there that they're like oh we currently paused fantuan while we update our menu. It would be great to inform fantuan or temporarily pause it and your customers so that they aren't waiting around. The prices have since went up from when they were longevous joy even though it's the same owners and same location they are now called shiawase. Their 3/4 roll combo are still delicious even though it's no longer a steal. I think it ends up being $16 for 3-4 rolls now and my go to are the spicy scallop and as mentioned before lobster roll! The appetizers are ridiculously expensive now so I stopped getting their stuffed squid. Will still come if I'm in the area but no longer purposely make my way here

Had the Singapore Spicy Noodles, eel bento box, combo sushi, and chicken Katsu Curry. All were delicious though I didn't expect the Singapore noodles to be so spicy it burnt my mouth. The chicken Katsu was tender and bento box was good. The place is small with a few tables and a bit cramped. Service was busy and attentive. Overall quite good.

I don't really know what happened to the place. It used to be a really nice chinese/japanese hole in the wall place. Now the quality of food has gone down, the materials used for dishware and utensils are all plastic and paper. Service is alright. Food is really a hit or miss. I definitely recommend against getting their $10 ramen deal. I have never felt so sick and gross after eating ramen because I got sick from it. The sushi bento and okonomiyaki was good though so order things while keeping the prices and stature of the place in mind.

Love this place!! It's a bit far as it's in deep Brooklyn but if you're in Brooklyn and can make it there, check this place out! Lots of options on the menu which can be overwhelming but it's fast service, fresh food, delicious taste. Great bang for the buck I don't typically seek out an eel roll but this eel cucumber had a great amount of eel! And the tuna roll that comes with the sushi set has some shiso inside so I appreciate the little details here! Restaurant is relatively small so if you're a big group, might want to call in advance. Most of their seats for up to 4. Enjoy!!

Here are the deets: -It's owned by the same peeps from "Like Cafe" on 18th Ave and "Phat Chow Down" on 86th St. -No longer the ramen inspired Japanese eats -It's now a fusion of Japanese, HK style, Malay inspired eats -Their menu is a mixed-mosh and has something for everyone... that's how I see it! -Recently renovated, dining in as of 2/2023 -Still the best "Toro Don" in this hood! -Yes, there's a name change, not sure if they are still keeping this page -Service is good, never had any issues, popular for takeaway and delivery is awesome if near by -Don't be offended by their tone, the ladies will get your orders all in! My families go-to items! (We order often from here!): -HK Milktea (best flavor) -Taiwanese fried chicken rice box -Chu Toro Don (pricey but tastes so good!) -Chicken Wings Bento (kids fav!) -Green curry pork Katsu (kids -Grilled Hamachi

Honestly don't know why it took me this long to leave a review. Been going here since high school. Their menu is pages and pages long. Gordon Ramsey once said if the menu is long, run! But this place is an outlier cause normally it's true, longer menu = not fresh food. But I adore this place. I catch myself craving it once in awhile. I usually order their sushi cause it's actually the best quality around this neighborhood. My husband and I usually order over the phone and the nice lady will give us a pickup number. We normally order the sushi sashimi platter and a random item or two. Their fish is fresh and presentation is good. They have some expensive fish items on their menu like bluefin tuna and uni bowls. They also have a lot of cheaper alternatives like their sushi party trays.

Food here is mediocre at best. I tried the sushi platter b $42 and it was underwhelming. It has two rainbow rolls and eel cucumber rolls or spicy salmon and scallops on top. The rolls fell apart. The spicy scallops taste good. The rest just didn't taste fresh. Try ninja on 86 street. It's much better. The fish balls and rice rolls $7 was good and so were the tripes. The pearl noodles $10 that's stir fry was a little hard. I would just stick with the classic Cantonese dishes here. At this time it is take out and cash only.

Curry Potato Croquette Bento Box (curry sauce and miso soup not pictured) $6.95

Have been wanting to try this place even before COVID-19, finally had the chance to give it a try. I was craving sushi and I have seen how broad their menu is (Chinese dishes, Japanese dishes -sushi and even ramen-). Ordered their 4 rolls deal with the spicy scallop roll and fried shrimp roll for $12.95 (which is great because the spicy scallop roll was $6.95 by itself) and their curry potato croquette bento box $6.95 (comes with two pieces, a california roll, fried chicken pieces, rice, miso soup). Everything was delicious and I would definitely be coming back. They do not have indoor nor outdoor seating, only delivery and take-out. I was surprised how busy this place was and it was past lunch time. Good for them because their prices are great and the food was amazing!

Unfortunately the tastiest restaurant in the area. Order in advance and make sure to ask for your pickup number.

My husband had the kaishin don, I had the Ozakaya donburi set and our girls shared the shoyu tonkatsu ramen. The fish was so incredibly fresh here and the rice was seasoned perfectly. My donburi set also came with dashi broth that the waitress later brought over to pour on top of the leftover rice in my bowl to be enjoyed at the end of the meal. The broth and rice combination was really comforting and satisfying. This dish was something I wanted to try in Japan but did not get a chance to experience when there, so I was excited to try it at Ozakaya. I was really pleasantly surprised by the ramen here as well. Although the pork could have been better/more tender, the broth was rich and seasoned so well and not too salty like other places. Last but not least, the service here was excellent and efficient. I would definitely come back here the next time I visit Brooklyn as there were many dishes on the menu I wanted to try!

Lots of people came in and out for takeout orders so that seems to be more of the target audience. Service was quick and polite, we were there until 9:30 and they definitely seemed ready for us to be out of there before the 10PM closing time. As for the specialty rolls, there were some pretty creative options - don't shy away from seemingly odd combinations because the flavors really do work well together. I appreciated the rice:fish ratio on all the rolls, the rice was a thin layer letting the flavor of the other ingredients really come through. The plain spicy tuna roll on the other hand was filled with spicy tuna mixed with something crunchy - maybe puffed rice? It seemed to be an unnecessary filler, I would have preferred just fish. I enjoyed the Lovers Dream and Golden Sunset roll the most. While I was debating it while ordering, in hindsight I would definitely get two rolls per person, maybe more if you're really hungry.

I saw the strong Yelp reviews and decided to take the leap with a pickup order. We ordered two specialty rolls and a spicy tuna roll. The restaurant itself is smaller than I expected, so I'm glad we opted for takeout. The staff was super friendly, and we only waited a few minutes while they completed our order. The Mystic Dragon roll was the standout for me-absolutely delicious. It had a variety of textures that gave it a great mouthfeel. I think this was my favorite of the three. All the flavors complemented each other beautifully. The strawberry sauce was unexpected but surprisingly worked! I love unique flavor combinations, and this one did not disappoint. The Torched King roll was also excellent. Salmon is my go-to for sushi, and the light torching gave it a subtle smoky flavor that I loved. The yuzu chili sauce added a nice kick--really flavorful and well-balanced. The Spicy Tuna roll was a classic and, of course, delicious. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place.
